Abstract

Die Erfindung richtet sich auf einen Kühlmittelkühler für ein Kraftfahrzeug, der in dessen Kühlkreislaufs eingebunden ist, mit einem Eintrittssammelkasten (1) mit oder ohne Befüllöffnung, einem Austrittssammelkasten (2), einem gelöteten Kühlnetz, bestehend aus Flachrohren (3) und Kühlrippen (4) mit einer bestimmten Kühlnetzhöhe und Kühlnetztiefe, wobei die Flachrohre (3) die beiden Sammelkästen (1, 2) verbinden und mit ein - oder beidseitig des Kühlnetzes angeordnetem äußerem Kühlerbauteil, das mit angrenzenden Kühlrippen (4) und mit den Sammelkästen (1, 2) mittels Löten verbunden ist. Der Kühlmittel-Kühler erhält ein stabiles Kühlnetz und kann ohne Änderungen am Kühlnetz vornehmen zu müssen, für Kühler mit oder ohne integrierter Befüllfunktion für den Kühlkreislauf verwendet werden, wenn erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen wird, das Kühlerbauteil als ein Multifunktions-flachrohr (MFF) mit einem größeren Widerstandsmoment als dasjenige der übrigen Flachrohre (3) auszubilden, dessen Enden (5) mit den beiden Sammelkästen (1, 2) verbunden sind, so dass es vom Kühlmittel durchströmt ist, wobei das (MFF) die Funktion eines inneren Seitenteils des Kühlnetzes erfüllt und wahlweise als Befüllleitung zur Befüllung des Kühlkreislaufs nutzbar ist.
Ferner strömt durch das (MFF) ein größerer Mengenstrom als durch ein einzelnes Flachrohr (3), wodurch die Temperaturverteilung über den Kühler vergleichmäßigt ist.
