Definitions

  • the invention relates to a leaf for overhead door erasure ceiling and vertical travel, a door comprising such a door leaf, and a method of assembly of such a leaf.
  • a leaf of this type generally comprises a frame adapted to cooperate with the masonry of a building for receiving said leaf, the frame itself comprising two uprights and two crosspieces.
  • the leaf can be moved between a closed position - in which it is substantially vertical - and an open position - in which it is substantially horizontal.
  • the doors of overhead doors often include a door that allows a user to enter the building in a simple way, without having to open the entire leaf by tilting.
  • Panels consisting of a single sheet, and extending over substantially the entire height of the leaf are fixed to the supporting structure consisting of the frame, the frame and the first and second sections, to form the leaf.
  • a first panel, fixed on the frame forms the gate
  • a second panel, fixed on the frame and the first and second sections forming the rest of the leaf.
  • the leaf thus produced has several disadvantages.
  • it has no property of insulation or sealing, and its appearance is little satisfactory, since the reinforcing structures are apparent.
  • the leaf can be relatively long to mount.
  • Sectional doors are also known, whose leaf is composed of panels extending horizontally - when the leaf is in the closed position - over the entire width of said leaf. Two adjacent panels are hinged to each other.
  • the leaf For the opening of the door, the leaf is moved vertically, the upper panel pivoting from the vertical position to the horizontal position, while the next panel remains vertical. This is made possible by the joints between successive panels. Successively, the following panels - from the upper part of the leaf to its lower part - will make the same movement until the leaf is substantially flat and horizontal.
  • Each of the horizontal panels has a substantially planar inner wall and outer wall defining a space containing an insulating material.
  • Sectional doors of this type therefore have very good insulating and sealing properties.
  • DE 19 56 744 U and or DE 83 05 964 U describe a leaf for up-and-down door with ceiling clearing and vertical clearance, in which the leaf can be moved between a closed position where the leaf is substantially vertical and an open position or the leaf is substantially horizontal.
  • This leaf is of the type comprising first a frame adapted to cooperate with the masonry of the building intended to receive the leaf.
  • This leaf is of the type then comprising at least two panels related to the frame in question, each panel extending vertically, when the leaf is in the closed position, over substantially the entire height of the leaf, the panels being placed next to each other over substantially the entire width of the leaf and assembled to each other.
  • Each panel is self-supporting, so that the leaf is devoid of any stiffness or reinforcement structure other than the frame. It is also modular, dimensionally and functionally, which allows, by selection and assembly, to cover a wide range of leaves.
  • DE 16 59 848 A discloses a door panel for a swing door which has a substantially flat inner wall and outer wall, defining a space containing an insulating material. Each panel is self-supporting, so that the leaf is devoid of any stiffness or reinforcement structure other than the frame.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a door leaf that does not have the drawbacks of the prior art.
  • Each panel has a substantially planar inner wall and outer wall delimiting a space containing an insulating material, and each panel is self-supporting, so that the leaf has no stiffness or reinforcement structure other than the frame, and is furthermore modular , dimensionally and functionally, which allows, by selection and assembly, to cover a wide range of leaves corresponding substantially to all the demands and needs of users.
  • the lateral edges of the inner and outer walls of each of the panels have folds towards the inside of said panel and the connecting profiles are able to cooperate with said folds.
  • the leaf according to the invention thus has very good insulating and sealing properties, while being inexpensive, easy to set up and able to meet the expectations of users since it requires only a few blanks of the panels. , less constraining assembly steps, no reinforcement structure and a simple operation of selecting and assembling the panels to cover the expectations of users.
  • a longitudinal assembly section is bonded to each lateral edge of each of the panels, an assembly section connected to a panel being able to cooperate with an adjacent assembly section connected to the adjacent panel, or with the frame of the leaf, so as to allow the assembly of the panels and the framework of the leaf.
  • the frame and / or the assembly profiles may include grooves adapted to receive sealing means.
  • These sealing means comprise, for example, bi-material seals comprising at least one part made of rigid material intended to be inserted into the grooves of the frame and / or of the assembly profiles, and at least one portion of flexible material capable of coming resting on the surface facing said grooves.
  • the leaf comprises three panels, the width of each panel being substantially equal to one third of the total width of the leaf.
  • One of the panels is adapted to form a gate, said gate being pivotally mounted to a neighboring panel or to the door frame and may include a three-point lock.
  • each panel is interchangeable with the other panels of the leaf, whether gate or not. This therefore makes it possible to manufacture only one type of panel for each type of leaf, which makes the method of producing the leaf very economical.
  • the realization of the gate is easily done by combining the type of assembly profiles adapted to one of the panels and by installing for example a three-point lock on this panel.
  • the panels comprise covers intended to cover the upper and lower edges of said panels.
  • each panel is made of sheet metal and the insulating material is a polyurethane foam.
  • two adjacent panels are assembled to one another by interlocking adjacent assembly profiles attached to the side edges of the panels.
  • Figures 1 and 2 represent a door 1 tilting, erasing the ceiling and vertical travel, for example a garage door.
  • first direction D1 substantially vertical, with respect to which will be used the terms "longitudinal”, “height”, “lower”, “higher”.
  • the door 1 comprises a frame 2, intended to be fixed to the masonry of a building, said frame 2 itself comprising two vertical uprights 3, 4 and a substantially horizontal upper cross member 5 and a threshold bar 6, fixed on the ground, between the lower ends of the two uprights 3, 4.

  • the door 1 defines a bay and further comprises a leaf 9, linked to the door 1 by a tilting device having side arms 10 and a mechanical system provided with rollers 11 adapted to cooperate with the guide rails 7, 8.
  • the leaf 9 is able to be moved by tilting between a closed position - in which it is substantially vertical and closes the bay ( figure 2 ) - and an open position - in which it is substantially horizontal and parallel to the guide rails 7, 8, near the ceiling.
  • the door 1 comprises a lock 12 point for allowing the locking of the leaf 9 in the closed position.
  • the balancing of the door 1 is made by two springs not shown.
  • the leaf 9 comprises a frame 13 adapted to cooperate with the fixed frame 2 of the door 1.
  • the frame 13 of the leaf 9 comprises two vertical uprights 14, 15, and two horizontal crosspieces, respectively upper 16 and lower 17.
  • the frame 13 is for example made of hollow section metal sections closed.
  • the leaf 9 comprises three panels 18, 19, 20 connected to the frame 13 and placed next to each other so as to cover substantially the entire width of the leaf 9, inside the frame 13.

  • the leaf 9 could comprise a different number of panels.
  • One of the panels located at one lateral end of the leaf 9 is hinged to the frame 13 of the leaf 9 via hinges 21 and provided with a handle 22, and thus forms a gate 18.

  • the assembly profiles 26 are made of sheet metal laauée, and are intended on the one hand to contain the foam polyurethane and secondly to allow the assembly of two panels 18, 19, 20 adjacent, or the assembly of a panel 18, 19, 20 to the frame 13.
  • the assembly profiles 26 thus incorporate mechanical assembly functions, as well as sealing functions, and allow simplified management of the lateral edges of the walls of the panels 18, 19, 20.
  • Each panel 18, 19, 20 is self-supporting , so that the leaf 9 is devoid of stiffness or reinforcement structure other than the frame 13, such as longitudinal or transverse profiles.
  • the gate 18, made from an insulating panel as previously described, is also devoid of a reinforcing structure, such as a frame fixed to the frame 13 of the leaf 9.
