Definitions
- the invention relates to a fire-resistant glazing and support for a plate-shaped component with a multilayer glass pane element and a fire side glued to this glass pane element fire protection pane, wherein the fire protection pane is set back along the edge with respect to the glass pane element.
- a fire-resistant glazing of this kind is out EP 0 528 781 B1 known.
- a fire-resistant glazing with a glass pane element seated in a holding frame is disclosed with a tempered silicate glass pane glued on the side of the fire, which terminates at a distance in front of the holding frame.
- the prestressed silicate glass pane forms a fire protection pane, which is supported on the holding frame by additional protruding holding tongues.
- this fire panel should provide for uniform heating and absorb heat energy, so that the underlying glass pane element can withstand the fire longer.
- polyvinyl butyral or another suitable organic plastic is proposed for bonding the fire protection pane with the glass pane element.
- the adhesive layer melts, so that the mechanical connection between the fire protection pane and the glass pane element is released.
- the fire protection screen is now held only with the help of the point-wise holding elements in position. As a result, on the one hand prevents hazardous temperature differences and thus tensions occur in the fire panel and on the other hand, the length changes the fire panel will not be transferred to the glass pane element.
- fire panels of this type with the corresponding brackets can not prevent the formation of thermal bridges over the fire panel to the glass pane element, since these two elements are in direct surface contact even when molten adhesive layer.
- the holder is not suitable to absorb large forces and the proposed frame construction is only suitable for vertical installation.
- the inventive design of the fire-resistant glazing and the holder has the advantage that in case of fire and softening of the adhesive layer between the fire panel and glass pane element, the fire protection glass falls on the arranged with vertical free distance to the outer surface of the fire protection bearing surfaces on the retaining strips. As a result, a gap is opened between the inner surface of the fire protection pane and the glass pane element, and there is no direct contact between the fire protection pane and the glass pane element. As the temperature increases, the adhesive present in this space decomposes, thereby consuming heat energy.
- the air cushion extending over the entire inner surface of the fire protection pane acts as an additional Thermal insulation.
- the glass pane element lying above the fire protection pane or the air cushion retains its full strength for a long time, so that components of the fire protection class G30 and higher can be formed in a simple manner.
- the advantage is achieved that the fire protection pane is not exposed to any stresses due to thermal expansion when heated, since the fire protection pane can expand freely. This already applies if the adhesive layer is still intact and even if the adhesive bond has been destroyed and the fire protection pane has fallen onto the bearing surfaces of the retaining strips.
- the width of the bearing surfaces of the retaining strips is at least twice as wide as the width of the free space between the edge surfaces of the fire protection pane and the frame.
- a damping element is placed on the support surfaces of the retaining strips for the fire protection, this being in the free space between the outer surface of the fire protection pane and the bearing surfaces of the retaining strips.
- damping elements may be made of a ceramic material, for example, and prevent damage to the fire protection pane after destroying the adhesive bond and also prevent direct heat transfer from the retaining strips to the fallen down and resting on the bearing surfaces fire protection.
- the fireproof pane may consist of a simple fire-resistant safety glass, but may also be of multilayer construction, it also being possible in a suitable embodiment for intumescent intermediate layers to be present in a known manner.
- a glass pane element also all types of known, conventional glazing can be used, ie it can be a laminated glass, an insulating glass or a single glass pane used.
- the individual sheets may be made of plain float glass or may be tempered or partially tempered. It is advantageous if at least one of the discs of Glass pane element consists of a tempered safety glass.
- the choice of the construction and the construction of the glass pane element is in a conventional manner depending on the vertical load and the load factors, for example, whether the plate-shaped component formed by the fire-resistant glazing and the bracket is committed only by persons or in extreme cases is driven by heavy vehicles ,
- the load capacity of the plate-shaped component can additionally be adapted in a manner known per se to the loading factors.
- the elastic intermediate elements also ensure a uniform load transfer between the glass pane element and the frame on which the glass pane element is placed.
- the illustrated Fig. 1 shows a cross section through the edge region of an inventive plate-shaped component 1, which comprises a composite fire-resistant glass 2, 3 and a holder in the form of a frame 6.
- the fire protection composite glass 2, 3 is only partially and only one side region of the frame 6 shown.
- the frame 6 is a steel frame, which is arranged on all sides around the fire protection laminated glass 2, 3.
- the fire protection composite glass is arranged, which consists of a glass pane element 2 and a fire protection pane 3.
- the glass pane element 2 is constructed from three prestressed safety glasses 17, 18 and 19, which are glued to one another via the intermediate layers 25, 26.
- the fire protection pane 3 is arranged, which is also glued to the glass pane element 2 via an intermediate layer 27.
- the connection of the individual glasses 17, 18, 19 and 3 takes place doing in a known manner via adhesive bonds, for example via a thermoplastic adhesive film of polyvinyl butyral or other suitable bonding agent.
- the glass pane element 2 can have any desired dimensions and in the example shown has, for example, a length of 200 cm and a width of 170 cm.
- the length and width of the fire protection pane 3 is smaller, so that the edge region 4 of the fire protection pane 3 is set back relative to the edge surface 20 of the glass pane element 2.
- an edge surface 21 of an edge region 7 of the glass pane element 2 is free from the width of approximately 3 cm.
- This exposed edge region 7 of the glass pane element 2 rests on retaining surfaces 8 of the frame 6.
- the fire-resistant glazing which is formed from the glass pane element 2 and the fire protection pane 3 is inserted approximately horizontally into the floor construction 5.
- elastic intermediate elements 22 and 23 are inserted, which serve for optimal transmission of forces between the glass pane element 2 and the frame 6 and the compensation of differences in length.
- These elastic intermediate elements 22, 23 may consist of a heat-resistant elastomer, for example a silicone profile or another suitable material, for example a silicone tube or a ceramic fiber cord.
- a permanently elastic sealing compound 29 for example a fire protection silicone compound.
- a free gap 15 is formed, which is so wide that the edge surface 14 of the fire protection pane 3 under no circumstances abuts against the frame 6. As a result, the free mobility of the fire protection pane 3 is ensured in case of fire.
- a retaining strip 10 is arranged, which runs in the illustrated example along the entire circumference of the fire protection pane 3.
- This retaining strip 10 overlaps the region of the edge 4 of the fire protection pane 3 and has a support surface 11.
- This bearing surface 11 is directed against the outer surface 12 of the fire protection pane 3 and positioned at a vertical free distance to this outer surface 12.
- This vertical free distance between the bearing surface 11 on the retaining strips 10 and the outer surface 12 on the fire protection pane 3 in the assembled state can be one to several millimeters depending on the configuration.
- circumferentially or partially damping elements 16 are mounted, which consist of flexible ceramic strips in the example shown. These damping elements 16 protect the fire panel 3 from damage and also prevent the direct heat transfer between the retaining strips 10 and the resting in case of fire on the damping elements 16 fire protection third
- the illustrated plate-shaped component 1 is constructed so that it has a large fire resistance against a fire under the component 1. It is therefore particularly suitable for installation as a translucent base plate on underlying fire-prone rooms. Occurs under the plate-shaped component 1, a fire, so the fire protection pane 3 is directed against this fire. For the time being, the fire protection pane 3 stores a certain amount of heat and heats up. At temperatures above 100 ° C, the interlayer 27 of polyvinyl butyral used in the example begins to melt until the adhesion of the adhesive layer 27 is degraded so far that the fire protection pane 3 by its own weight on the support surfaces 11, and the damping elements 16 on the retaining strips 10th falling.
- the fire protection pane 3 can also be formed as a multi-layer pane with one or more intermediate fire protection layers which foam in the event of fire. This is possible in a simple manner, since the adaptation of the frame 6, or the retaining strips 10 in the simplest way possible.
