Definitions
- the present application relates to an opening roller for an open-end spinning device according to the preamble of patent claim 1 and a fitting ring for such an opening roller.
- Opening rollers are used in open-end spinning devices for processing the fibers to be spun, which are removed from a sliver.
- the sliver is introduced into an opening roller housing, wherein it is dissolved by an opening roller, which is filled with teeth or needles, into individual fibers.
- the opening roller rotates at high speed, whereby the separated fibers are fed via a fiber channel a spinning member.
- the set of an opening roller has a decisive influence on the quality of the thread formation, so that in the conversion of a spinning machine to a new starting material or a different kind of thread, the opening roller or its set must be replaced. Also for reasons of wear, it is regularly necessary to replace the clothing. In the prior art a variety of embodiments of opening rollers are known, the set is interchangeable.
- the opening roller In order to enable the rotatability of the opening roller, this is arranged on a shaft which is mounted on a bearing.
- the opening roller itself consists of several parts, of which usually only one directly on the shaft, for example by means of a press fit, is attached.
- an opening roller is known in which by means of an elastic element (see. FIG. 3 ) or other means exerted an axial pressure on the fitting ring and thus the fitting ring is connected via frictional connection in the circumferential direction rotatably connected to the opening roller.
- Another ring is from the EP 0747517 A1 known. This is designed as a replaceable wearing part, which is clamped between two annular flanges of the opening roller by means of three mounting screws. In the event of wear on the clothing, the attachment ring can be exchanged for a new gamitoring ring after loosening the attachment screws and removing an annular flange. The rotational entrainment of the fitting ring during operation of the opening roller takes place via the friction on the frontal axial abutment surfaces and thus on the tensile force of the mounting screws.
- a fitting ring and an opening roller unit are made of DE 36 45 275 C2 known, wherein on the fitting ring a recess is formed as a circumferential annular groove, whose axial length and radial height greater than the corresponding dimensions of an associated projection of a body bearing the main body.
- This is a non-contact mounting fuse to be made, which ensures that the ring gear can be mounted only in a predetermined direction.
- the radial surface of the fitting ring on the supporting body serving abutment surface is located outside the region of the recess.
- Object of the present invention is to avoid the disadvantages of the prior art and to design an opening roller such that the fastening means are charged only slightly by the assembly of clothing and body of the opening roller, in particular the fact that the forces caused by the dissolution of the Sliver arise on the set, not need to be absorbed by the fasteners and the torque transmission is not made exclusively dependent on the clamping forces, which should also be taken care of a proper runout. Furthermore a fitting ring is to be proposed, which can cooperate with an opening roller according to the invention.
- the present object is achieved by a fitting ring for an opening roller with the features of claim 1.
- the fastening means need only be used only to hold the multi-part opening roller axially.
- the forces occurring as a result of the dissolution of the fibers in the circumferential direction of the clothing of the opening roller are absorbed by the recess according to the invention.
- This thus allows a safe entrainment of the set and still a particularly simple and lightweight design of the fastener of the opening roller at the same time secure connection.
- a projection of the body since the projection on the body can be particularly easily formed.
- the embodiment of the opening roller according to the invention also allows to use fasteners that can not transmit large forces when fastening. Characterized in that the force acting on the clothing during combing out force is not transmitted to the fastening means can advantageously be used for example clip connections, without causing problems in the reliability of the connection.
- the interlocking connection is implemented by means of a projection, which connects in the circumferential direction a form fitting carrier and body.
- a projection has the advantage that it can be particularly easily formed on the base body characterized in that the base body is an injection molded part and the projection in the manufacture can be formed with.
- the clothing carrier has a recess for forming the positive connection with the base body. In the recess may be particularly advantageous to engage a projection, also has the recess has the advantage that it can be made by machining, whereby, for example, the recess can also be easily formed on a steel clothing rack.
- the clothing carrier has a substantially cylindrical inner wall, on which the recess is formed, particularly advantageous in the region of the edge of the clothing carrier.
- the recess in the region of the cylindrical lateral surface of the clothing carrier is formed. Preferably also in the region of the edge.
- the clothing carrier and the clothing holder are formed integrally with each other. Also advantageous is an embodiment in which the clothing carrier and the clothing holder are two separate components, whereby clothing carrier and clothing holder can be made of different materials.
- the clothing carrier is designed as a ring on which a clothing is arranged. As a result, a simple replacement of the set is possible. In addition, a wide variety of material can then be used for the ring, as well as a variety of garnish can be used.
- the set is worked out in one piece from the ring, for example by milling, which is particularly accurate tooth profiles can be produced.
- the clothing consists of a clothing wire, which is applied to the clothing carrier.
- the clothing consists of needles, which are used in the ring in a known manner. Due to the design of the opening roller, in which the base body contains the end face facing away from the bearing, a particularly favorable embodiment of the base body can be used, in particular also with regard to the accessibility of the bearing gap.
- the fastening means body and clothing holder connects axially positively to one another, so that the cohesion of the multi-part opening roller is secured in the axial direction.
- the fastening means exerts an axial pressure on the opening roller in a particularly favorable manner, so that the clothing holder and the base body abut one another as well as the clothing carrier.
- the fastening means consists of two interacting parts which form a clip connection.
- a further advantageous embodiment of the invention proposes the clothing holder in the axial direction of a stop of the body.
- clothing holder and body are positioned to each other favorably.
- the clothing holder is on the clothing carrier to a stop of the body. In this advantageous embodiment, therefore, the position of a clothing holder is exactly guaranteed, which is formed integrally with the fitting ring. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are described in the subclaims.
- the recording of mounting screws enabling longitudinal grooves is, is advantageously achieved that the fitting ring is not clamped only between ring flanges, but at the same time is guided by the mounting screws themselves.
- the latter then contribute to transfer part of the torque of the opening roller on the fitting ring, so that the clamping forces of the mounting screws can be reduced.
- the cylindrical inner surface outside the longitudinal grooves, especially in the region of the axial stop surfaces, then advantageously serves for the radial centering of the fitting ring.
- three longitudinal grooves are provided whose width is expedient at least twice their depth.
- the width of the longitudinal grooves should therefore exceed the diameter of the fastening screws, while the depth of the longitudinal grooves can be significantly smaller.
- a radial centering surface is provided in the region of each axial stop surface.
- the width of the longitudinal grooves is at least twice their depth.
- each end-side abutment surface is assigned an annular groove with a centering surface.
- the term "positioning surface” may mean a centering surface or a driving surface, whereby particular importance is attached to the fact that the fitting ring can not be mounted incorrectly during assembly of the opening roller Ring surfaces, one of which forms the centering formed as a positioning surface.
- a plurality of recesses in the form of extending in the radial direction passage slots are provided with lateral boundary surfaces, one of which is designed as a driving surface in the circumferential direction positioning surface.
- This positioning surface can be assigned to the opening roller, for example, after the mounting engaging in the passage slot cam of the opening roller.
- the clamping ring clamping the fitting ring can be relieved.
- the centering surface serving the radial centering is provided outside the region of the passage slots.
- the longitudinal section of the inventively designed opening roller 1 of FIG. 1 shows the structure of the opening roller 1 and its arrangement on the bearing 21 for rotatable mounting.
- the opening roller 1 consists of a base body 12, which is fastened via its receptacle 13 on the shaft 2, on the side remote from the bearing 21 by means of a press fit.
- the shaft 2 is mounted on bearings, not shown, wherein the right of the main body 12 located bearing sleeve 210 of the bearing 21 is quasi the outer ring of a roller bearing and does not rotate accordingly with the opening roller 1.
- the opening roller 1 is still made of the clothing holder 3, which is fastened by means of fastening means 5, which are designed here as screws, on the base body 12.
- the clothing carrier 4 is acted upon by one side of the base body 12, while he is on the other side, viewed in the axial direction of the bearing 21, from the clothing holder 3, is acted upon ,
- the ring 41 carries a set consisting of teeth (see FIG. FIG. 3 ) or needles (not shown).
- the base body 12 with the ring 41 in the circumferential direction has a positive connection.
- the edge 46 in the region of the cylindrical inner wall 44 has a recess 7, in which a projection 6 of the base body 12 engages. Projection 6 and recess 7 thus result in the circumferential direction of the opening roller considered a positive connection.
- the invention thus makes it possible that during the attachment of the clothing holder 3 no forces acting in the circumferential direction between the base body 12 and clothing holder 3 must be added. Rather, it is sufficient if the fastener 5 the clothing holder 3 so applied in the direction of the body 12 with an axially acting force that the clothing carrier 4 maintains the positive connection with the body 12. Conveniently, the gaps between the clothing carrier 4 and clothing holder 3 and body 12 are as far as possible closed, so that no fibers can penetrate. An axial pressing of the base body 12 on the clothing carrier 4 is not required, as well as not a pressing of the clothing carrier 4 to the clothing holder. 3
- the clothing carrier 4 is pushed axially in the direction of the base body 12 during assembly of the clothing holder 3, so that it receives the projection 6 in its recess 7 and simultaneously abuts axially with its edge 46 on the base body 12. Due to the design of the main body with this stop 8 is an accurate positioning of the clothing carrier 4, also considered in the axial direction, on the base body 12 is possible. About the attachment means 5 of the clothing carrier 4 is held on the stop 8, without the need for acting in the axial direction bias is given. The form-fitting connection in the circumferential direction between the base body 12 and the clothing carrier 4 does not require this.
- the fastening means 5 in the form of a screw but also in the configuration of the fastening means 5 in another form, the risk of twisting the clothing holder 3 in relation to the clothing carrier 4 is not, since in the circumferential direction on the clothing holder 3 virtually no forces act. A twisting of the clothing holder 3 is not possible even if this is formed integrally with the clothing carrier 4. Then that is about the positive connection of the clothing carrier 4, which is designed as well as in the embodiment of FIG. 1 , a rotation impossible due to the positive connection. Therefore, the fastening means 5 can be designed so that they are just sufficient to fix the clothing holder in the axial direction on the base body. For the transmission of forces between body and clothing carrier 4 provides the connection via the recess 7 and the projection 6. So it can also be used advantageously fasteners that can not transmit any circumferential forces.
- the main body 12 is fixed on the receptacle 13 on the shaft 2.
- the receptacle 13 with the shaft 2 form a press connection, so that a secure and firm connection between the base body 12 and the shaft 2 is given.
- the shaft 2 is rotatably supported by the bearing 21 in rolling bearings.
- the bearings are sealed in a known manner by means of suitable sealing washers, nevertheless, care must be taken that the storage is shielded as far as possible from the influence of dirt. This is done at the opening roller 1 of FIG. 1 through the clothing holder 3, which rests on the base body 12 and forms a tight connection and in that the clothing holder 3 forms a very narrow gap with the bearing sleeve 210.
- FIG. 3 shows an enlarged section of the FIG. 1
- the recess 7 of the clothing carrier 4 can be seen, into which the projection 6 of the base body 12 engages. Since the recess 7 in the circumferential direction is only slightly larger than the projection 6, it forms with the projection 6 a form-fitting connection in the circumferential direction between the base body 12 and the Gamituront 4.
- the 41 as garment 41 is formed, particularly advantageously achieved that a wrong assembly of the fitting ring 41 is excluded on the body.
- the ring 41 is placed on the base body 12 that the recess 7 does not point in the direction of the body 12, the projection 6 can not engage, so that the total opening roller is too wide or that the fastening means are too short. In both cases, the opening roller can not be assembled.
- the alignment of the teeth or needles of the clothing is matched to the direction of rotation of the opening roller.
- the teeth of a clothing are inclined in the direction of rotation of the opening roller.
- a positive connection of the clothing carrier 4 is advantageously achieved with the body 12 but also support assembly at the onset of fasteners 5.
- a positive connection between ring 41 and clothing holder 3 are provided, about this can then be positioned so that the fastening means come to lie in the correct position during assembly of the opening roller 1.
- the stop 8 can be seen on the base body 12, against which the clothing carrier 4 strikes in the axial direction.
- the clothing 42 is arranged in the form of a clothing wire and represented by the configuration of two clothing teeth 47.
- a recess 8 on the frontal region 48 of the edge 46 of the clothing carrier 4 may be formed. This can also extend to the inner wall 44 or lateral surface 45.
- FIG. 2 shows a partial section through the opening roller of FIG. 1 in a plane parallel to the end face 11 of the base body 12, wherein the section is defined by the projection 6.
- the projection 6 forms a positive connection together with the recess 7 in the clothing carrier 4 in the circumferential direction of the opening roller 1 viewed.
- it can be provided on the ring 41 to provide a plurality of recesses 7, which face the same number of projections 6 or less. If more than one recess is provided, the finding of the correct position between base body 12 and clothing carrier 4 can be shortened.
- Opening rollers 1 for open-end spinning device serve in a known manner the purpose of dissolving fiber sliver fed fiber material for spinning into individual fibers, which are then collected in a fiber collecting groove and spun there to form a thread. This process is known in the art, so that it need not be explained here.
- the fitting ring has in addition to two end-side axial, its clamping serving abutment surfaces, a substantially cylindrical inner surface which has in each case in the region of the abutment surfaces as the radial centering serving centering, which are conductive assigned to the assembly of the opening roller 1 a corresponding cylindrical mating surface of the body.
- Dressing rings are wearing parts that have to be replaced at certain intervals by new sets of rings, while the other components of the opening roller 1 can be maintained as a rule.
- opening roller 1 to avoid repetition, waived a further description.
- the opening roller 1 after FIGS. 4 and 5 contains a slightly differently shaped inventive clothing ring 20, which is slidably slid onto a base body 40 of the opening roller 1.
- the clamping of the clothing ring 20 between its axial abutment surfaces 413 and 414 are again corresponding unspecified mating surfaces of the body 40 and the clamping plate 405 and the previously mentioned clamping screw 78.
- the centering surface 421 is located in a portion of the cylindrical inner surface 712 of the fitting ring 407, wherein the centering surface 421 slides on a corresponding mating surface of the base body 40.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 are provided only at an axial stop surface 414 recesses.
- passage slots 422 are provided on the stop surface 414 distributed over the circumference, wherein the fitting ring 40 in the region of these passage slots 422 has a slightly reduced wall thickness.
- the passage slots 422 each have two lateral boundary surfaces 423 and 424, of which the boundary surface 424 is formed as a driving surface, with which the torque transmitted to the fitting ring 402 in the circumferential direction A is partially transmitted.
- the driving surface 424 is the claimed positioning surface.
- the front ends of the fitting ring 40 in particular in the region of the passage slots 422, are covered by inner surfaces of annular beads 425 and 426, which are integrally formed on the base body 40 and the tensioning disk 405.
- annular beads 425 and 426 which are integrally formed on the base body 40 and the tensioning disk 405.
- a cam 427 is provided on the annular bead 426, each of which engages in the passage slot 422 and bears against the respective driving surface 424.
- this cam 427 is dimensioned so that in the region of the passage slots 422, the axial stop surface 414 is not affected.
- FIG. 7 a cross section through the opening roller along the cut surface II - II of FIG. 6
- the fitting ring 20 according to the invention comprises a sleeve-like clothing carrier, to which a sawtooth or needle-like clothing 30 serving for dissolving the fiber material to be spun is attached.
- this set 30 is preferably made of the full material of the clothing carrier machined saw teeth.
- the opening roller unit 1 having the clothing ring 20 contains, as a further component, a base body 40 carrying the clothing ring 20.
- the clothing ring 20 is clamped between a radially protruding annular flange 85 of the base body 40 and a similar annular flange 86 of a clamping disk 87.
- the annular flanges 85 and 86 protrude in the radial direction of the height of the set 30, so that after assembly of the opening roller unit 1, the set 30 is largely protected against damage.
- the clamping of the fitting ring 20 is a clamping screw 88 which is received by a shaft 89 centering the main body 40 and the clamping disk 87.
- the opening roller unit 1 is still mounted to a complete opening roller, which in addition to the rotatable shaft 89 and the clamping plate 88 still has a stationary bearing housing 811, of which a rolling bearing 812 is indicated.
- the fitting ring 20 has substantially a cylindrical inner surface 813, of which a part serving as the radial centering abutment surface 814 is formed, and which is slidably associated with the assembly of the opening roller of a corresponding cylindrical counter surface 815 of the base body 40.
- Dressing rings 20 are wear parts that have to be replaced at certain intervals by new sets of rings 20, while the other components of the opening roller can be maintained in the rule.
- opening rollers can run at speeds up to about 8,000 revolutions per minute.
- the invention now aims to make both the opening roller unit 1 and the Gamiturring 20 per se so that improper installation and a non-circular operation are avoided when possible. For this reason, a plurality, preferably three, longitudinal grooves 816, 817 and 818 are distributed uniformly over the circumference of the inner surface 813 on the inner surface 813, specifically on the abutment surface 814. These longitudinal grooves 816, 817 and 818 are then assigned corresponding projections 819, 820 and 821 of the base body 40. These projections 819, 820 and 821 are preferably cam-shaped and significantly shorter than the longitudinal grooves 816, 817 and 818.
- the assembly can be made even safer, when the heights of the individual protrusions 819, 820 and 821 are different, so that the protrusions 819, 820 and 821 can not be erroneously used as centering counter surfaces.
- the projections 819, 820 and 821 may also have a slight conicity.
- the longitudinal grooves 816, 817 and 818 can definitely have the same depth, if only it is ensured that the highest projection 819, 820, 821 can still engage in the longitudinal grooves 816, 817, 818.
- the longitudinal grooves 816, 817, 818 thus interrupt the radial centering serving abutment surface 814 and exceed its length. They help to ensure that centering is possible in the circumferential direction of the clothing ring 20 as well. It should be noted here that it is quite possible for the longitudinal grooves 816, 817, 818 to extend over the entire length of the inner surface 813 of the fitting ring 20.
- the abutment surface 814 associated counter surface 850 between the projections 819, 820 and 821 and the ring gear 20 axially supporting annular flange 85. This ensures in any case that when omitting the longitudinal grooves 816, 817 and 818th the fitting ring 20 either not mounted or can not be centered. As a result, improper installation is safely avoided.
