Definitions

  • the invention relates to a chair with a support frame, a seat plate and a backrest, which is provided with a below the seat plate extending arm, which is hinged ver-pivotally mounted on the support frame, wherein the arm the rear part of the seat plate via a pivotal connection with this carries and the front part of the seat plate is connected via a bearing means to the support frame and the bearing means comprises at least one bending spring member which is held on one side of the support frame, and rests on the upper side in the region of its resiliently deflectable, free end mounted on the seat plate bearing part.
  • a chair of this type is known for example from DE 196 07 136 A1.
  • the chair described therein has a.
  • the seat plate is pivotally connected near its front edge via a pivot bearing with a support frame fixed to a pedestal.
  • the protruding under the seat plate lower arm of the backrest is pivotally hinged to the support frame and carries the back part of the seat plate.
  • the pivot bearing consists of the pivot shaft and a slot gate, which is formed rising towards the backrest.
  • the pivot shaft is fixed to the underside of the seat, the slot gate, however, fixed to the support frame.
  • the rear part of the seat plate is articulated between the articulation point of the arm on the support frame and the upright portion of the backrest on the arm.
  • a chair of the type mentioned is known from DE 12 97 306 B.
  • the rear part of the seat plate is supported by the bending spring member, which is connected in the region of its front of the chair facing the end of the support frame. In the central region of its longitudinal extent it is supported on a support element of the support frame.
  • the bias of the bending spring member In order to oppose a backward pivoting of the backrest for users with different weights in each case a sufficient force, the bias of the bending spring member must be greatly changed depending on the weight of the user.
  • the range within which the adjustment of the bias of the bending spring member can be changed is limited.
  • a relatively expensive gas spring is provided in a conventional manner between the swing frame for the backrest and the support frame of the chair.
  • the front side part of the seat plate is supported by a support connected to the support frame, and the rear part of the seat plate is hinged to the swing frame.
  • Biegefederglieder are provided to support the gas spring between the support carrying the front part of the seat plate and the pivot frame. Also in this chair, users of different weights require a large change in the applied spring forces to adapt the chair to the user.
  • the object of the invention is to provide an ergonomically advantageous, yet simple design and very inexpensive to produce synchronous mechanism, in which a weight compensation for users with different weight is achieved.
  • the bending spring member When pivoting the backrest to the rear, the bending spring member is deflected against the spring force, wherein the guide surface forms an abutment. At this guide surface can rest on the top of the bending spring member or another attached to the seat plate bearing part. Since in the undeflected state, the bending spring member is biased against the resting on its top bearing part, when loading the seat plate by a user - except at load peaks when Niederalt or if the user sits, for example, completely in the front edge on the seat plate - this bearing part or the other mounted on the seat plate bearing part are held in abutment with the guide surface, whereby a controlled synchronization sequence when pivoting the backrest is achieved to the rear.
  • a leaf spring package advantageously a leaf spring package can be used, which has advantageous elastic properties and is very inexpensive.
  • the chair according to the invention shown in Figs. 1 and 2 has a support frame 1. This can be mounted in a conventional manner about a vertical axis 2 pivotally mounted at the upper end of a central vertical column 3, which is supported by a cross-4.
  • a backrest 5 of the chair is connected to a below a seat plate 6 extending arm 7 which is articulated about an axis 8 pivotally mounted on the support frame 1.
  • the arm 7 carries the rear part of the seat plate 6 (including padding) via a pivotable about the axis 9 connection with this, wherein the pivotable connection of the seat plate 6 with the arm 7 is provided a downwardly projecting tab 10.
  • the front part of the seat plate 6 is connected to the support frame 1 via a bearing device 11.
  • the bearing device 11 has a bending spring member 12 in the form of a leaf spring package, which is held on the side of the backrest 5 facing the end on one side of the support frame 1.
  • the other, in this embodiment free, end 13 of the spiral spring member 12 is resiliently deflectable and adjoining this end 13 area lies on the down to the front of the chair downwardly sloping top 14 of the spiral spring member on the seat plate 6, namely on a downwardly projecting tab 15, mounted bearing member 16, so that the front-side part of the seat plate 6 is supported by the bending spring member 12.
  • the bearing part 16 is also located on a above the bearing part 16 arranged guide surface 17, which forms an abutment upwards.
  • the top 14 of the spiral spring member 12 and the guide surface 17 are here - viewed in side view - at an angle to each other and run toward each other towards the back of the chair.
  • the bearing part 16 is pulled by the connection of the seat plate 6 with the arm 7 along the guide surface 17 to the rear, wherein the bending spring member 12 is deflected downwards.
  • the angle between the guide surface 17 and the top 14 of the bending spring member 12 in this case affects the strength of the deflection of the bending spring member 12 and thus the strength of the deflection of the opposite spring force.
  • a stop is provided, which is not shown in the drawing for clarity.
  • this stop could be formed by a leg which delimits the movement of the bearing part 16 backwards along the guide surface 17 and projects downwards from the guide surface 17.
  • a clamping bolt 18 is provided, which passes through the bending spring member 12 through a through hole 19.
  • the clamping bolt 18 has an external thread and is screwed into an internal thread of a rigidly connected to the support frame 1 part 20.
  • the clamping bolt 18 has a radially projecting collar 21 which rests on the bending spring member 12 in the region around the passage opening 19.
  • the bending spring member 12 is in the region of the through hole 19 from the support frame 1 and from the internal thread provided portion 20 of the support frame 1 spaced and is biased by the collar 21 against the bearing member 16.
  • this bias is adjustable by more or less wide screwing the clamping bolt 18.
  • the bias causes the bearing member 16 does not lift from the guide surface 17 even with a weight load of the seat plate 6 by a user. By adjusting the bias, the pivoting back of the backrest 5 opposite spring force can be changed.
  • two separate bearing parts 16 can be provided for this purpose, which can be arranged one behind the other, for example in the image plane of FIGS.
  • the voltage applied to the guide surface 17, also mounted on the seat plate bearing member could be rigid or against the force of a spring slidably mounted on the seat plate or a part connected to this.
  • this may be formed as a role, in particular when for engagement with the upper side 14 of the bending spring member 12 and for engagement with the guide surface 17 separated, rotatable on the seat plate. 6 or an associated part arranged rollers are provided, a slight wear of these surfaces 14 and 17 and the bearing parts is achieved.
  • bending spring members 12 may be provided in the form of leaf spring packages on the tops 14 each designed as a rotatable roller bearing member 16 rests and between which the section 23 with the provided thereon guide surface 17 extends, which also bears a roll. These rollers can all be rotatably mounted about the same axis, which is held on both sides by tabs 15.
  • a portion of the lying below the uppermost leaf spring leaf springs of the leaf spring packet are formed shorter than the uppermost leaf spring and terminate before the free end of the uppermost leaf spring.
  • the guide surface 17 is approximately horizontal in the embodiment shown, an inclination of the guide surface relative to the horizontal is possible, which is preferably less than 45 °. Particularly preferred is an inclination of less than 30 °.
  • the angle between the upper side 14 of the bending spring member 12 and the guide surface 17 is preferably in the range between 15 ° and 50 °.
  • a clamping device to achieve a bias of the bending spring member 12 may be provided instead of an externally threaded clamping bolt 18 .
  • other bending spring members would also be conceivable as a leaf spring package, for example rod-shaped bending spring members.
  • a leaf spring package has a particularly good spring characteristic, this at a low price.
  • this could have been pivoted by an angle of 24 °, while the seat has been pivoted through an angle of 8 °.
  • the front edge of the seat remains when pivoting the backrest to the rear at the same height or lifts slightly.
