Definitions
- the invention relates to the activation and deactivation of a burglary alarm system (EMA), which serves to secure the outer skin and the interior of a building.
- EMA burglary alarm system
- This solution has the disadvantage that an authorized access may not forget the triggering of such a signal transmission, otherwise the building remains unintentionally unsecured or the actually authorized entry into the secure building leads to the accidental triggering of a burglar alarm. It is therefore desirable to have an inevitability, i. upon leaving and authorized entry into the building, the activation or deactivation of the burglar alarm system is to be triggered automatically.
- a so-called block lock in which in addition to such a latch switching contact an integrated electromechanical locking mechanism is provided. This prevents activation of the burglar alarm system if an inadmissible operating state exists, for example if the outer skin of the building is not properly and completely closed.
- a block lock has an undesirable complex structure.
- a lock with two profile cylinder cores is known, each having locking lugs to independently move a lock bolt can.
- the actuation of the profile cylinder cores is detected in each case by a detector arranged in the housing of the lock.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to enable an inevitable activation or deactivation of a burglar alarm system with low installation costs.
- a lock actuation sensor is arranged on the door side. This sensor registers when the lock cylinder of this door is legitimately, ie actuated by means of the associated identification means, in particular rotationally actuated.
- a coupling of the lock actuation sensor is provided with the lock cylinder.
- the sensor together forms, at least with the switching signal transmitter, a door lock monitoring unit which is mounted as an original equipment or retrofit module together with further locking and fitting elements on or within the relevant door.
- the door lock monitoring unit according to the invention thus offers the advantage that it can generate an inevitable activation or deactivation signal when the lock cylinder is actuated by the authorized user without the need for constructional measures on the door frame or on the strike plate of the respective door. Instead, the door lock monitoring unit is mounted instead of or in addition to the lock cylinder from the door. This requires no special installation effort and no destructive attachment measures, since a certain area of the door is already provided for attachment of locking and fitting elements.
- a particular advantage of the invention is thus to be seen in the fact that the door lock monitoring unit can easily replace a conventional lock cylinder, while, for example, the aforementioned block lock is provided as an additional lock in addition to an existing door lock.
- Another advantage of the invention over the above-mentioned latch switch contact is that no unauthorized deactivation of burglar alarm system can be triggered by a manipulation of the strike plate of the door.
- a manipulation of the strike plate of the door For example, in the case of a bolt switching contact arranged in the striking plate, there is a risk that it will be manipulated by means of a wire inserted through the door gap.
- the door lock monitoring unit according to the invention is not readily accessible due to their door-side mounting for such manipulation.
- the invention should also be noted that it can be used for any type of lock cylinder with associated identification means, in particular for conventional profile cylinder with key or for electromechanical locks with transponder or radio control.
- the lock cylinder forms an integral part of the door lock monitoring unit.
- a simple original equipment or retrofitting the door can be done by the door lock monitoring unit is used with lock cylinder as a unit instead of a conventional lock cylinder.
- the door lock monitoring unit can also be implemented as a supplementary unit for an existing, conventional lock cylinder, wherein the mutual coupling is effected for example by a matching key portion of the door lock monitoring unit, which is inserted into an associated inner locking part of the existing lock cylinder and fixed there.
- the coupling between the lock actuation sensor and the lock cylinder can be done in any manner that enables detection of actuation of the lock cylinder.
- a mechanical, an electromagnetic, a magnetostatic and / or an optical coupling come into consideration.
- the lock actuation sensor is preferably designed as a rotary actuation sensor, which is capable of detecting a rotational actuation of the lock cylinder.
- the sensor for detecting the rotational actuation direction may be designed to be able to differentiate between a locking actuation and an unlocking actuation.
- the door lock monitoring unit is equally suitable for left and right closing doors.
- a switch for example a jumper, for the one-time adjustment of the distinction between the locking and unlocking direction may be formed on the door lock monitoring unit.
- the lock actuation sensor can be, for example, an electromechanical motion sensor, an electromagnetic motion sensor (in particular a Hall effect sensor), an optical motion sensor (In particular, according to the principle of an optical computer mouse), an inductive motion sensor or a tilt sensor (in particular a mercury tilt sensor, another liquid tilt sensor or a tilt sensor with rolling balls) may be formed.
- the lock actuation sensor is designed for a substantially currentless monitoring of the lock cylinder. This can be realized by a "wake-up" function, due to which the lock actuation sensor or other electrical or electronic devices of the door lock monitoring unit need only be activated and supplied with electrical energy, if any door lock actuation event has occurred. By such a configuration of the sensor, the energy consumption of the door lock monitoring unit in monitoring operation is thus considerably reduced.
- This substantially currentless monitoring can be realized for example by an electromechanical motion sensor, in particular by having at least one movable contact element, which is caused only by actuation of the lock cylinder for closing an electrical circuit.
- a plurality of freely movable, electrically conductive balls may be provided, the position of which is evaluated energy-saving by an electronics, which is equipped with a field effect transistor in the input.
- micro-switch which is actuated by insertion of the identification means in the lock cylinder.
- the door lock monitoring unit has a housing which at least partially receives the lock actuation sensor, the switching signal transmitter and the other components.
- this housing may take the form of a cylinder or knob, i. have a widened at its free end cylinder.
- the door lock monitoring unit has an actuating device which allows actuation of the lock cylinder from the building inside the door.
- This actuator may be rotatably mounted on the door to allow a rotational operation of the lock cylinder.
- This actuator is formed by the aforementioned housing of the door lock monitoring unit.
- the lock cylinder has an outer lock member and an inner lock member which are connected to each other by an emergency and hazard clutch.
- the outer lock member is actuated by the identifier of the lock cylinder, such actuation causing movement of a lock bolt of the lock cylinder.
- the inner locking member is moved along to allow detection of the operation.
- the door lock monitoring unit has an activation suppression switch, by the operation of the access authorized - despite a subsequent locking or unlocking operation of the lock cylinder - can prevent the transmission of an activation or deactivation signal to the burglar alarm system.
- the activation suppression switch is thus connected to the lock actuation sensor and / or the switching signal transmitter in such a way that the explained inevitability of the activation or deactivation of the burglar alarm system can exceptionally be disabled at the request of the authorized user.
- the following situation may occur:
- the person with access rights would like to leave the building for a short time during the day, for example, to do a shopping. He wants to lock the front door to secure the building against unauthorized access.
- this locking or the corresponding operation of the lock cylinder - exceptionally - does not necessarily lead to the activation of burglar alarm system, for example, as a pet remains trapped in the building, due to the interior monitoring could trigger a false alarm by the burglar alarm system.
- the authorized user actuates the activation suppression switch on the door lock monitoring unit before leaving and locking the building.
- Said activation suppression switch is preferably located on the inside of the building of the door, for example on a housing of the door lock monitoring unit in order to be easily accessible to the authorized access.
- the switch is preferably designed as a push-button switch. Furthermore, it can be connected to a time-switching device which ensures that an actuation of the lock cylinder after actuation of the activation suppression switch does not lead to an activation or deactivation signal only if these two operations take place within a predetermined time interval, for example 15 seconds.
- the door lock monitoring unit - in addition - have an activation trigger switch, by the operation of the authorized access can trigger the activation or deactivation of burglar alarm system without having to operate the lock cylinder for this purpose.
- an activation trigger switch also serves to exceptionally break through the explained, otherwise generally desirable, inevitability of activating and deactivating the burglar alarm system.
- deactivation of the burglar alarm system without corresponding unlocking of the lock cylinder may be desirable in order to monitor the interior of the building, while the protection of the outer skin - by locking the front door - should continue to be guaranteed.
- an activation trigger switch instead of the basically inevitable activation of the burglar alarm system such that a locking operation of the lock cylinder only leads to the transmission of an activation signal to the burglar alarm system, if previously - for example, within a prescribed time interval - the activation trigger switch has been actuated ,
- the door lock monitoring unit has an optical and / or acoustic signal device for displaying the respective activation state.
- a provided on the inside of the building red / green LED indicate the locking state of the lock cylinder and the associated signal transmission to the burglar alarm system.
- one or two different acoustic signals to indicate a locking operation and an unlocking operation of the lock cylinder.
- such a signaling device may serve to confirm an actuation of the aforesaid activation suppression switch or activation trigger switch.
- the door lock monitoring unit has its own energy source, in particular an electric battery.
- an autonomous energy supply there is no need to use the door lock monitoring unit with an external source of energy, For example, the public electricity network, to connect in a complex manner.
- the door lock monitoring unit in an advantageous development of an attack detector, which is capable of detecting a burglary attempt on the door and optionally trigger the transmission of an attack detection signal via the switching signal to the burglar alarm system.
- the door lock monitoring unit is thus not only used as a pure control device for the burglary alarm system, but also as a detector for burglary attempts. This eliminates the need to provide an additional sensor for monitoring the door for burglary attempts.
- the attack detector can in particular be arranged in or on the lock cylinder and designed to detect a mechanical destruction, for example a boring or pulling of the lock cylinder.
- a detection of a closing or opening of an electrical circuit can be provided.
- an additional safeguard for example, on the other hand, that by drilling and subsequent unauthorized operation of the lock cylinder, the door lock monitoring unit is caused to an unauthorized transmission of a deactivation signal to the burglar alarm system.
- Fig. 1A and 1B show - from two different directions - a frame 11 and with respect to the frame 11 slightly open door 13th
- the door 13 has - in a known manner - at the in Fig. 1A shown inside building 15 a pusher 17 and a cover plate 19, and at the in Fig. 1B shown attack or building exterior 21 a handle plate 23 and a protective fitting 25. Furthermore, the door 13 has a - also known - mortise lock 27, protrudes from the front side of a lock latch 29. The locking mechanism has a locking latch 31 which can be extended from the end face of the door 13.
- a locking plate 33 is provided with associated receiving openings on the frame 11.
- the door 13 is equipped with a door lock monitoring unit of which in Fig. 1A and 1B a cylindrical actuator housing 35 on the inside of the building 15 and a lock cylinder 37 can be seen, which extends to the exterior of the building 21 of the door 13.
- a door lock monitoring unit of which in Fig. 1A and 1B a cylindrical actuator housing 35 on the inside of the building 15 and a lock cylinder 37 can be seen, which extends to the exterior of the building 21 of the door 13.
- the locking bolt 31 can be extended from the mortise lock 27 or in this be moved back to selectively lock the door 13 from the inside of the building 15 from.
- the pusher 17 allows the door 13 to be opened from the inside of the building 15.
- the pusher 17 - in a known manner - coupled in such a way with the latch 29 that upon pivotal movement of the pusher 17, the latch 29 is withdrawn into the mortise lock 27.
- Fig. 2 shows that the lock cylinder 37 has an outer locking part 39, an inner locking part 41 coupled thereto and a locking nose 43, which is connected to the outer locking part 39 and the inner locking part 41 and further engages in a locking mechanism 45.
- the locking mechanism 45 provides - in a known manner - for the explained coupling of the pusher 17 and the lock cylinder 37 with the - in Fig. 2 not shown - latch 29.
- the locking mechanism 45 is connected in particular via a square pin 47 with the pusher 17.
- the door lock monitoring unit has within the actuating housing 35 - and thus in building innen sketcher arrangement - on a rotary actuation sensor 49 which is coupled via a coupling shaft 51 mechanically with the inner locking part 41 and the outer locking part 39 of the lock cylinder 37.
- a coupling shaft 51 mechanically with the inner locking part 41 and the outer locking part 39 of the lock cylinder 37.
- an actuation of the lock cylinder 37 taking place on the outside of the building 21 can be transmitted to the rotary actuation sensor 49 by means of an associated key 53.
- the coupling shaft 51 allows a transmission of a rotary actuation of the actuating housing 35 on the lock cylinder 37, and thus on the locking lug 43 and the locking mechanism 45 on the lock bolt 31 and the lock latch 29th
- an electronic circuit 55 is further arranged, which serves as an evaluation and control device and is connected to the rotary actuation sensor 49 and a likewise integrated into the actuator housing 35 radio transmitter 57.
- the circuit 55 is further connected to an activation suppression switch 59, which protrudes partially from the actuator housing 35.
- the door lock monitoring unit to an electric battery 63, which for the purpose of an autonomous power supply with the rotary actuation sensor 49, the circuit 55 and the radio transmitter 57 and is also integrated in the actuator housing 35.
- the door lock monitoring unit enables an inevitable activation and deactivation of a burglar alarm system due to a locking operation or unlocking operation of the lock cylinder 37 from the building interior 15 or the building exterior 21.
- the rotary actuation sensor 49 monitors whether a rotational movement of the coupling shaft 51 takes place relative to a reference point, which is provided with respect to the door 13 in a fixed arrangement.
- a reference point on a mounting plate of the door lock monitoring unit may serve as a reference.
- Such a rotational movement of the coupling shaft 51 thus occurs either if by means of the key 53, the outer locking part 39 of the lock cylinder 37 is actuated and via a - not shown - coupling the inner locking member 41 moves.
- a rotational movement of the coupling shaft 51 takes place relative to the reference point when the with the coupling shaft 51 - in a manner not shown - rotatably connected actuator housing 35 is rotatably actuated to bring the lock cylinder 37 and the associated locking latch in a locking position or an unlocked position ,
- the rotary actuation sensor 49 registers such rotational movement of the coupling shaft 51, it provides a corresponding actuation signal to the circuit 55. This generally causes the radio transmitter 57 to immediately wirelessly transmit an activation signal or a deactivation signal to the central intruder alarm system, respectively after whether a lock operation or an unlock operation of the lock cylinder 37 has been detected by the rotation operation sensor 49.
- the door lock monitoring unit thus enables an inevitable activation or deactivation of the burglar alarm system without the authorized access person - in addition to the locking or unlocking of the lock cylinder 37 - must act.
- the equipment of the door 13 with the door lock monitoring unit is possible without special structural measures and thus without any special installation effort, since the door lock monitoring unit including the lock cylinder 37 is simply used instead of the usual lock cylinder in the door 13.
- the door lock monitoring unit shown allows suppression of the forced activation or deactivation of the burglary alarm system at the request of the authorized user.
- the activation suppression switch 59 is actuated to indicate to the circuit 55 that a subsequent actuation signal of the rotary actuation sensor 49 does not exceptionally transmit an activation or deactivation signal through the radio transmitter 57 should lead.
- the door lock monitoring unit shown may also include a signal receiver, such as a radio receiver, to enable bidirectional communication with the burglar alarm system. so that an operating or backup state can also be reported by the burglar alarm system to the door lock monitoring unit.
- a signal receiver such as a radio receiver
- a wired switching signal transmitter can be provided for forwarding the activation or deactivation signal. The same applies to the signal receiver mentioned.
