Description

The present invention relates, in general, the field of road equipment, of the type represented by the sewers.

More specifically, the invention relates to equipment intended to be integrated in a border, for example a curb, and comprising at least three upright walls and an upper wall defining together an opening in the edge, the first erect wall facing the opening to form a first bottom wall, and the second and third erected walls constituting side walls arranged mutually opposite each other on either side of the opening, spaced from each other following a first direction and transverse to the first bottom wall.

US 1 473 551 A .These equipment, generally made of cast iron, are well known and widely used in all urban areas in particular, see for example US 1 473 551 A .

The integration of these equipment in borders poses an acute problem, which is related to the diversity of shapes and dimensions of the borders likely to receive them.

To date, two approaches are used, the first consisting of manufacturing as many types of equipment as there are different borders, and the second consisting in posing only one equipment model while renouncing any adaptation of this type of equipment. equipment in relation to the receiving edge.

However, the first approach is industrially expensive to the point that it is often abandoned in favor of the second, and the second approach itself poses not only aesthetic problems, but where appropriate also security problems, by making appearing unevenness on surfaces used by pedestrians.

The invention, in this context, aims to provide road equipment to free this dilemma.

To this end, the equipment of the invention, moreover in accordance with the generic definition given in the preamble above, is essentially characterized in that it comprises at least two elements, each of which is shaped like an open housing , in that the first element constitutes a base, in that the second element constitutes a hood which carries the upper wall and which fits onto the first element while capping it, and in that the first and second elements adopt a position relative relative displacement by selective displacement of the second element relative to the first following second and third mutually crossed directions, each of which is transverse to the first direction.

In an industrial embodiment of the invention, it is possible to provide that the second and third raised walls are carried by the second element, that the opening is laterally defined by fourth and fifth erect walls which are carried by the first element and which constitute side walls respectively doubling, at least partially, the second and third upright walls, and that the fourth and fifth upright walls are delimited by respective front edges inclined both towards the first bottom wall and towards the wall higher.

It is also advantageous to ensure that the first element carries first and second slides arranged on either side of the opening and oriented in the second direction, that the second element carries third and fourth slides arranged on the other side. other of the opening and oriented in the third direction, and that the first and second rails are respectively connected to the third and fourth rails by first and second respective connecting members, comprising for example bolts.

The first and second slides are advantageously carried by respective and substantially vertical webs carried by the first element.

Furthermore, the second and third directions are preferably substantially perpendicular to each other, the second direction being for example substantially parallel to the upper wall.

The first and second elements may have a peripheral rim disposed at the bottom of at least some of the erected walls and allowing the sealing of the equipment on an evacuation chamber.

For better rigidity of the equipment and greater ease of sealing, the second element may have a sixth erect wall forming a second bottom wall substantially parallel to the first bottom wall.

Finally, the first element advantageously comprises, on each side of the opening at least, an anterior heel constituting a support for a grid frame.

  • the Figure 12 is a perspective view of the equipment shown in the Figure 10 , shown after covering the evacuation chamber with a grid.

As best shown by Figures 10 to 12 the invention relates to road equipment, of the type to which the sewer mouths belong, and which is intended to be integrated, for example, in a sidewalk curb.

According to a first aspect of the invention, the equipment comprises two elements, referenced 1 ( Figure 1) and 2 (Figure 2 ), each of which is shaped as an open housing.

The first element 1 constitutes a base, while the second element 2 constitutes a hood, which fits on the first element 1 by capping it.

This equipment comprises at least three erected walls, that is to say at least approximately vertical, referenced 11, 22, and 23, and an upper wall 20, all of these walls delimiting an opening 30 ( Figure 6 ) in the border 3.

The first upstanding wall 11, which in the illustrated embodiments is carried by the first member 1, faces the opening 30 and forms a first bottom wall 11.

The second and third upright walls, 22 and 23, which, like the upper wall 20, are carried by the second element 2 in the illustrated embodiments, constitute side walls disposed opposite one of the other side of the opening 30, are spaced from each other in a first direction D1 ( figure 1 ), and are transverse to the first bottom wall 11.

According to a second aspect of the invention, the elements 1 and 2 adopt a relative position that can be adjusted by displacement selective of the second element 2 with respect to the first element 1.

More specifically, the second element 2 is movable relative to the first element 1 according to the second and third directions which are referenced D2 and D3 on the figure 1 , which are mutually crossed, and each of which is transverse to the first direction D1.

To give the equipment optimum rigidity, the second element 2 can carry fourth and fifth erect walls, 14 and 15, which laterally define the opening 30, and which constitute side walls respectively doubling, at least partially, the second and third raised walls 22 and 23.

Par ailleurs, pour permettre à l'équipement de s'intégrer totalement dans des bordures chanfreinées, comme le montre par exemple la figure 6, les quatrième et cinquième parois dressées 14 et 15 sont de préférence délimitées par des bords antérieurs respectifs 140 et 150 qui sont inclinés à la fois vers la première paroi de fond 11 et vers la paroi supérieure 20.Moreover, to allow the equipment to fully integrate into chamfered edges, as shown for example by the figure 6 the fourth and fifth upright walls 14 and 15 are preferably delimited by respective front edges 140 and 150 which are inclined both to the first bottom wall 11 and to the upper wall 20.

Comme le montre notamment la figure 1, le premier élément 1 porte deux glissières, référencées 101 et 102, disposées de part et d'autre de l'ouverture 30, et orientées suivant la deuxième direction D2.As shown in particular figure 1 , the first element 1 carries two rails, referenced 101 and 102, disposed on either side of the opening 30, and oriented along the second direction D2.

Comme le montre la figure 2, le second élément 2 porte également deux glissières, référencées 103 et 104, disposées de part et d'autre de l'ouverture 30, et orientées suivant la troisième direction D3.As shown in figure 2 the second element 2 also carries two slides, referenced 103 and 104, disposed on either side of the opening 30, and oriented along the third direction D3.

Des organes de liaison 41 et 42 (figure 2), par exemple constitués de boulons comprenant chacun une vis telle que 410 (figure 5) et un écrou tel que 411, permettent de lier deux à deux les glissières des deux éléments 1 et 2, la glissière 101 étant ainsi liée à la glissière 103, et la glissière 102 à la glissière 104.Connecting members 41 and 42 ( figure 2 ), for example consisting of bolts each comprising a screw such as 410 ( figure 5 ) and a nut such as 411, make it possible to link two by two the slides of the two elements 1 and 2, the slideway 101 thus being linked to the slideway 103, and the slideway 102 to the slideway 104.

As will be understood by those skilled in the art upon reading the present description, the same result could be obtained by providing that, all things being unchanged by elsewhere, the slide 101 is oriented in the direction D3 and the slide 103 is oriented in the direction D2, the illustrated structure may nevertheless be preferred for its greater ease of production.

In the illustrated embodiment, the slides 101 and 102 of the first element 1 are carried by respective webs 111 and 112 and substantially vertical carried by this element 1.

In this case, the second and third directions, D2 and D3, are substantially perpendicular to each other, the direction D2 being for example substantially horizontal and parallel to the upper wall 20, and the direction D3 then being substantially vertical.

As shown in particular by figures 2 and 4 the second element 2 has a sixth upstanding wall 26, forming a second bottom wall which is substantially parallel to the first bottom wall 11 carried by the first element 11.

Par ailleurs, chacun des éléments 1 et 2 présente un rebord périphérique inférieur, tel que le rebord 17 disposé en partie basse des parois 14, 11, et 15, et le rebord 27 disposé en partie basse de la paroi 26, ces rebords permettant à l'équipement d'être immobilisé par scellement sur une chambre d'évacuation C (figure 10), dans une position préalablement définie par serrage des boulons 41 et 42.Furthermore, each of the elements 1 and 2 has a lower peripheral rim, such as the flange 17 arranged in the lower part of the walls 14, 11, and 15, and the flange 27 disposed in the lower part of the wall 26, these flanges permitting the equipment to be immobilized by sealing on an evacuation chamber C ( figure 10 ), in a position previously defined by tightening the bolts 41 and 42.

The first element 1 preferably comprises, on each side of the opening 30 at least, an anterior bead 18 ( figures 1 and 3 ) constituting a support for a grid frame G intended to cover the evacuation chamber C as shown in FIG. figure 12 .

Enfin, comme le montrent les figures 10 à 12, la paroi supérieure 20 peut, lorsqu'un accès vertical à la chambre d'évacuation 30 est souhaité, être constituée par un couvercle articulé 20a.Finally, as shown by Figures 10 to 12 the upper wall 20 may, when vertical access to the discharge chamber 30 is desired, be constituted by an articulated lid 20a.
