Definitions
- the invention relates to a connecting element for cables according to the preamble of claim 1.
- connection elements are designed as a plug or socket and have an inner conductor that connects to the inner conductor of one Electrically conductive by soldering or crimping connected is. This type of connection is complex. Furthermore is the transmission for soldered or crimped connections different frequency ranges not reliable.
- the invention is based, the generic connector to train so that the cable is simple and yet can be reliably connected to the connecting element.
- connection element the inner conductor of the Cable without soldering or crimping with the housing-side inner conductor electrically connected.
- the inner conductor on the cable side is in the inclusion of the housing-side inner conductor by the radial Clamping piece deformable inwards.
- the clamp connection between the two inner conductors can be simple and reliable be made. Because of the training according to the invention is the transmission at different frequency ranges reliable. If necessary, the cable-side inner conductor can be jammed just be solved.
- the connecting element 1 is in the embodiment as an angled installation cable socket educated.
- a cable 50 (Fig. 6, 7) connected, such as on the construction, is used in underground construction, in quarries and the like.
- the connecting element 1 has an angular housing 2, the two at right angles has mutually lying connection sides.
- a socket sleeve 3 is connected, through which in known manner extends an inner conductor 4, which is bent at right angles is.
- the longer part 4a of the inner conductor 4 lies in two insulating parts 5, 6, which abut the inner wall of the sleeve 3.

- the clamping cone 34 On the side facing away from the end piece 19, the intermediate piece closes 32 a clamping cone 34, which is advantageously made in one piece the intermediate piece 32 is formed.
- the clamping cone 34 has at least two, preferably four, distributed over its circumference Clamping jaws 35, with which in a manner to be described the cable 50 can be tightened.
- the jaws 35 are separated from each other by axially extending slots 32, which extend over the entire length of the jaws.
- the clamping jaws 35 limit a circular cross section Holder for an outer jacket 52 of the cable 50.
- the clamping jaws 35 have one each after the intermediate piece 32 a lateral surface 37 lying in a cylindrical surface. It goes into a conical surface 38 over that diagonally inwards to the free end of the Clamping cone 34 runs.
- the clamping nut 16 has a cylindrical end 17 Cylinder part 39, which is approximately half the axial length of the clamping nut 16 merges into an actuating part 40 which is larger in outer diameter. It has an angular outline, so it matches with an appropriate one Tool can be taken to the clamping nut 16 to their To rotate axis.

- the jaws 35 of the clamping cone 34 are radially elastic curved inside.
- the clamping jaws 35 grip the outer jacket 52 of the cable 50 and clamp it so tight that the cable too not pulled out of the connection element 1 in the case of strong tensile loads can be.
- the clamping cone 14 and the clamping cone 34 of the clamping nut 16 are matched in their shape so that when twisting the clamping nut 16 both the inner conductor 51 and the Outer sheath 52 of the cable 50 reliably between the jaws 10a, 10b and 35 are clamped.
- the clamping nut 16 can be as far as possible on the intermediate piece 32 of the pliers piece 15 are rotated until the end face of the clamping nut 16 on one Stop 48 of the angular housing 2 comes to rest.
- the adjustment path the clamping nut 16 in the axial direction is sufficiently large to the inner conductor 51 and the outer jacket 52 of the cable 50 reliably to be clamped in the connecting element 1.
- connection of the cable 50 with the connection element 1 can be easily loosened by the clamping nut 16 turned back on the intermediate piece 32 of the pliers piece 15 becomes.
- the jaws 10a, 10b and 35 resiliently spring in here their starting position back so that the cable 50 then without Difficulties can be pulled out.
- the cable connection described does not require a solder or crimp connection, so that the cable 50 easily and quickly with the angle housing 2 connected and can also be solved by him.
- the housing 2 is only in the embodiment as an angular housing educated. It can of course also be used as a straight housing be trained. Also, the connection element does not have to be a socket, be designed as in the exemplary embodiment, but can also are designed as plugs.
