Claims (22)

  1. Supporting device for supporting upholstery of an upholstered seat and/or upholstered couch,
       having a furniture drive (2) for adjusting support parts (60-68) of the supporting device (56) relative to one another, with the furniture drive (2) having a linearly movable drive element for pivoting a pivoted lever (18) operatively connected to a support part (60-68) of the supporting device (56) to be adjusted,
       wherein the drive element is a spindle nut which is held on a rotatingly drivable actuating spindle such that it is protected against torsion and is movable in an axial direction, or an actuating spindle (10) which is supported in such a way that it is movable in its axial direction and protected against torsion, on which actuating spindle is located a fixed spindle nut (12) which can be rotatingly driven,
       wherein the linearly movable drive element or an actuating element connected thereto has a recess (22), into which the pivoted lever (18) projects in its radial direction, and
       wherein an inner wall of the recess (22) forms a contact surface (34) for the pivoted lever (18) and
       wherein the contact surface (34) acts slackly upon the pivoted lever (18),
       characterised in that
       the contact surface is formed in the direction of the linear axis of movement of the drive element on the end (26) of the recess (22) facing away from the actuating spindle such that, during the adjustment of the part of the furniture to be adjusted, the drive element or the actuating element pulls by means of the furniture drive (2) on the pivoted lever (18).
  2.   19. Supporting device as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that, in the assembly position of the furniture drive (2), the pivoted lever (18) is connected in a non-rotational manner to a rotatably supported shaft which is operatively connected to a part of the furniture to be adjusted.
  20. Supporting device as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that the furniture drive (2) is embodied as a double drive with two drive units.
  21. Supporting device as claimed in Claim 19, characterised in that each drive unit (4, 4') has an electric motor (14, 14').
  22. Supporting device as claimed in Claim 19, characterised in that the drive units (4, 4') of the double drive are accommodated in a common housing (6).
