Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de démarrage électrique pour moteurs à combustion interne. Ce système comprend un démarreur (11) et un relais de démarrage (20). Des contacts de commutation de commande (24) du relais de démarrage (20) sont disposés en série avec le rotor à collecteur (12) du démarreur (11) et ses balais de charbon (31) dans le circuit principal (23) du système de démarrage. Une protection contre les surcharges ouvre le circuit principal dans le cas d'une surcharge du démarreur en fonction de l'intensité de courant et de la durée de cette surcharge. L'objectif de cette invention est d'élaborer une protection contre les surcharges du système de démarrage économique et fiable. A cet effet, au moins une section du circuit principal (23) située à l'intérieur du démarreur (11), de préférence au moins un toron de raccordement (36) des balais de charbon (31), joue le rôle de fusible.
