Definitions
- the invention relates to an adhesive label consisting of a Label sheet and an adhesive coating on the back, which can be detached by pulling it off a label carrier surface is.
- Adhesive labels are used in a wide range Item marking used. In many cases there is a desire or need for that Adhesive labels again from the marked objects to remove, especially around a new, different label to install. A typical application for this are Bottle crates made of plastic, usually several times be used. Both after damage or Soiling of the labels as well as in particular It is the desired change in the labeling of the content required to remove the attached adhesive labels, to be able to apply new labels. In others too Areas, for example in automated Picking operations, there is a need for adhesive labels to remove from containers.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide an adhesive label to train the genus mentioned at the beginning so that a safe removal of the adhesive label from the Label carrier surface is guaranteed.
- the adhesive labels at the beginning called a border strip completely from the genus Keep the adhesive coating free to do the usual Make it easier to scrape or scrape off the adhesive label.
- the scratching or scraping tool used can be under the non-adhesive edge of the adhesive label attack on the adhesive label.
- the completely glue-free edge strip of the adhesive label also favors one accidental tearing of the adhesive label or is subject at least even an increased risk of damage.
- the adhesive label then frayed out on this edge strip offers an aesthetically unsatisfactory sight.
- the partial provided according to the invention leads Reduction of adhesive force in the area of the edge strip means that this edge strip does not come from the label carrier surface protrudes and therefore cannot be damaged.
- the adhesive coating is applied two opposite edges of the label sheet each forms an edge strip with reduced adhesive effect. This ensures that when the Label carrier surface, for example on one Bottle crate, not on the peeling tape attention must be paid in which direction the Label carrier surface is supplied. In both possible Direction is the leading edge of the label sheet with the designed according to the invention Edge strips provided.
- the bottle crates can be in can be fed to the adhesive tape in any position.
- the reduced adhesive effect provided in the invention can, according to one embodiment of the inventive concept can be achieved in that the Adhesive coating in the area of the edge strip at least partially wearing a top coat. This results in the manufacturing advantage that the adhesive coating on the entire label sheet and especially in a long row Label sheets can be applied evenly.
- the adhesive effect in the edge area is then reduced by a top coating, which is like a Printing process is applied, for example by a Cliché roller.
- this top coating can be so be carried out so that the full application Adhesive effect of the adhesive coating reduced.
- the top coating has the adhesive effect of the Adhesive coating largely prevents and that the Top coating only in partial areas of the Edge strip is applied.
- the top coating can be in individual Area pieces can be applied, starting from the Edge towards the middle of the label sheet rejuvenate.
- the adhesive label 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 exists from a label sheet 2 and a back Adhesive coating 3, for example from a HDPE matched rubber coating.
- the adhesive label 1 is for this determined, releasably on a label carrier surface 4 (FIG. 2) to be attached, for example the side surface of a only partially shown bottle case 5.
- an edge strip 7 On two opposite edges 6 of the label sheet 1 is an edge strip 7 with one on the outside (Adhesive side) of the adhesive coating 3 applied Covering 8 provided, for example consisting of siliconized UV varnish or a comparable agent.
- the top coating 8 prevents where it is applied is the adhesive effect of the adhesive coating 3 much as possible.
- the top coating 8 is at the embodiment shown there only in Partial areas of the edge strip 7 applied.
- This Partial areas are shown in the Embodiment by a corrugated or serrated Line 9 limited in such a way that the individual Area pieces 10 in which the top coating 8 is applied, starting from the edge 6 to the middle Taper the area of the label sheet 1.
- In Direction to the central area of the label sheet 1 takes the adhesive effect then by the increasing proportion of adhesive surfaces progressively.
- Fig. 4 shows a schematic spatial Presentation of the process of releasing the Label sheet 1 from the label carrier surface 4.
- a Adhesive tape 11 is pressed against the by means of a pressure roller 12 moving in the direction of arrow 13 Label carrier surface 4 and that located thereon Adhesive label 1 is pressed and - as with arrow 14 indicated, subtracted from the label carrier surface 4.
- the adhesive label 1 from the Label carrier surface 4 lifted and taken away because the Adhesive effect between the adhesive tape 11 and the outside of the adhesive label 1 is greater than the adhesive effect between the adhesive label 1 and the label carrier surface 4.
- the invention was based on examples of rectangular Adhesive labels 1 described. It goes without saying that too differently shaped self-adhesive labels, for example round, oval or differently contoured adhesive labels in a corresponding Way can be executed. In all cases it happens depends on the leading edge of the Adhesive labels with a reduced edge strip Adhesive effect to facilitate peeling.
