Definitions
- the present invention relates to a motor vehicle lamp, a Circuit arrangement for a motor vehicle light and a Printed circuit board for a car light.
- the circuit arrangement has two supply connections, one Resistor circuit, a diode circuit and one or several LEDs on.
- Such circuitry are usually arranged on printed circuit boards, the Printed circuit boards with a housing lower part and at least one partially transparent housing upper part of the vehicle light form.
- diode switching is necessary to voltage spikes too prevent that could destroy the light-emitting diodes.
- diode circuits are provided so that the Luminaire independent of the polarity of the LEDs to the external voltage of the electrical system (12 V or 24 V DC voltage) can be connected.
- the rectified voltage is then applied to the outputs of the Diode circuit tapped and the resistance circuit fed.
- the operating voltage of the LEDs itself if several are connected in series, as a rule is significantly below the voltage of the vehicle electrical system, be the light-emitting diodes with resistors of Resistor circuit connected in series, so the voltage between the resistors of the resistance circuit and the Divide LEDs (voltage divider).
- such Circuit arrangements, printed circuit boards with such Circuit arrangements and luminaires are from the state of Technology widely known.
- circuit arrangements are often used in the automotive sector as Taillights, brake lights or indicators used.
- the use of the circuit arrangement and the Printed circuit boards with such a circuit arrangement but not limited to the examples mentioned.
- a problem with the known automotive lights arises when a printed circuit board with the circuit arrangement the influence is exposed to moisture or even moisture. This can be the case, if the housing of the lamp due to Damage or aging shows leaks which rainfall moisture or water spray in the Lamp penetrates. Often penetrate with moisture Contaminants such as dirt or salts in the lamp. In such cases, by electrochemical corrosion and Electrolysis creepage distances arise on the circuit board. Furthermore, conductive sludge can form, the small potential gaps on the PCB, for example between contacts and components, bridging. Is the Lamp almost flooded with a saline solution, outgassing, sparks and arcs can become visible which in rare cases lead to the burning down of the luminaire can.
- the invention is therefore based on the object, the Circuit arrangement, the circuit board and the lamp itself, such that the risk of creepage distances is largely excluded.
- This task is first solved by the inputs the resistance circuit directly with the Supply connections connected to that with the outputs the resistance circuit, the inputs of the diode circuit are connected and that preferably in series switched LEDs to the outputs of the diode circuit are connected.
- the advantage of over the prior art swapped Arrangement of the diode circuit and the resistance circuit is the following:
- In the prior art is due to the Supply connections as well as at the inputs and outputs of the Diode circuit to a voltage corresponding to the voltage of the Vehicle electrical system corresponds or is slightly lower than that Voltage of the electrical system. This relative to the Operating voltage of the LEDs high voltage is found thus at several points of the circuit arrangement.
- In the The circuit arrangement according to the invention is the Resistor circuit upstream of the diode circuit. Between the outputs of the resistor circuit then falls but only a tension that essentially the Operating voltage of the LEDs corresponds.
- In the The circuit arrangement according to the invention finds the high Voltage of the electrical system only to the Supply connections, d. H.
- the resistance circuit can at least have two parallel branches, on the one hand with an input and on the other hand with an output of Resistor circuit are connected.
- the resistance circuit serves, as already described, to the voltage of the electrical system to divide that over the light emitting diodes only their operating voltage drops from, while the remaining voltage in the resistance circuit in heat is implemented.
- the resistors of the resistance circuit and The light-emitting diodes thus form a voltage divider. Is to it in the known from the prior art Circuitry common that the resistors of the Resistor circuit connected directly in series are.
- each of the branches can be at least two parallel have switched resistors.
- the diode circuit of the electrical circuit arrangement can according to the invention, two branches connected in parallel have, on the one hand with an entrance and on the other hand are connected to an output of the diode circuit.
- a diode there is arranged in the one branch, a diode, the is connected in the same direction to the light emitting diodes.
- This diode serves, as already described, Capture voltage spikes and so before the light emitting diodes to prevent damage.
- the electrical circuit arrangement a rectifier bridge circuit as a diode circuit exhibit. This is possible, the circuit arrangement regardless of the polarity to connect to the electrical system.
- the electrical circuit arrangement according to the invention advantageously realized in a circuit board.
- the PCB has the supply connections preferably on top of the circuit board.
- the Areas are in accordance with the invention in opposite Arranged areas.
- the areas with the Supply connections can be diagonally opposite.
- the branches of the resistance circuit can also be in be arranged opposite areas. Also the Areas with the branches can the resistance circuit lie diagonally opposite.
- the PCB between the respective areas with the Supply connections and / or the branches of Resistor circuit one or more times with slots Mistake. These slots prevent yourself Forming leakage paths on the top of the circuit board can.
- Such a circuit board can be in a lamp with a Housing base, an at least partially transparent Be used housing upper part.
- the upper housing part and / or the lower housing part can then webs according to the invention have, which rest on the surface of the circuit board or engage in the slots of the circuit board.
- the on the Surface of the circuit board resting or in the slots engaging webs prevent moisture transport inside the light, where it areas of the light at least partially against each other.
- the inventive Circuit arrangement comprises a resistance circuit 1 Resistors 11, 12, 13, 14 on. Between the two Inputs 15, and 16, which at the same time also the Supply terminals of the circuit form, and the two outputs 25, 26 of the resistor circuit 1 is a Parallel circuit provided in each case two resistors. Between the input 15 and the output 25 are the Resistors 11, 12 arranged in parallel while the resistors 13, 14 in parallel between the input 16 and the output 26 are connected.
- the outputs 15, 16 of the resistance circuit 1 form at the same time inputs of a diode circuit 2 of diodes 21, 22, 23, 24 wherein the diodes 21, 22, 23, 24 in a Rectifier bridge circuit are arranged. Outputs of the Rectifier bridge circuit thereby also form the Outputs 35, 36 of the diode circuit.
- the outputs 35, 36 of the diode circuit 2 are over Light-emitting diodes 31, 32 connected to each other.
- the described arrangement of the resistance circuit 1, the Diode circuit 2 and the LEDs 31, 32 has the Advantage that compared to the over the light emitting diodes 31, 32 sloping at the supply terminals 15, 16 applied high voltage no further time in the circuit occurs.
- the possibility of creepage distances with one Voltage drop equal to the voltage at the Supply terminals 15, 16 is thus on a Creepage distance between the supply connections reduced.
- FIG. 2 From the schematic representation of FIG. 2 it can be seen that like the component of a circuit arrangement according to FIG. 1 a circuit board 4 according to the invention are arranged.
- the Supply terminals 15, 16 are opposite in diagonal lying areas 41, 42 of the circuit board 4 is provided.
- the resistors 11, 12 and 13, 14 Immediately in the vicinity of the supply terminals 15, 16 are the resistors 11, 12 and 13, 14 attached, so that as short as possible between the tracks Supply terminals 15, 16 and the resistors 11, 12, 13, 14 exist. This is advantageous because so the Tracks the high voltages lead short and local are limited, which inhibits the formation of creepage distances. Furthermore, the areas of the supply terminals 15, 16 and the resistors 11, 12, 13, 14 - so the areas with the comparatively high voltages - through slots 43 in the Printed circuit board 4 from the remaining areas of the circuit board. 4 demarcated. This also causes the formation of Creepage distances difficult. In particular, the Supply connections 15, 16 in case of partial flooding the circuit board 4 in vertical installation is not shorted.
- the components are arranged so that no Conductors are passed under the components.
- the copper surfaces have been omitted as well
- Supply connections 15, 16 are kept as small as possible been so that here only a small starting points to provide for creepage distances.
