Definitions
- the invention relates to a protective contact socket with cover or central disc with socket pot and protective earth contact arranged in the socket pot as well as with base.
- the invention can be used, for example, for sockets for flush-mounting Surface-mounted applications used in water or dust-protected versions become.
- the hinged cover When the plug is inserted, however, the hinged cover is usually partially open, so that the required degree of protection can only be achieved with specially rubberized plugs. at Water protection is not provided when using non-rubberised plugs protection class IP44 is not maintained. Furthermore, there is a disadvantage that the hinged lid with the plug inserted at a certain angle to the wall stands open and protrudes into the room, resulting in personal injury or damage of the hinged cover. Especially in public buildings torn hinged covers are almost the norm due to vandalism.
- the invention has for its object a protective contact socket of the beginning Specify the type mentioned, the ingress of water or dust inside the socket is prevented even without using a hinged lid.
- the advantages that can be achieved with the invention are in particular that both inserted plug reliably prevented as well as when the plug is not inserted that water (splash water) or dust through the opening for the protective conductor contact can penetrate into the interior of the socket.
- the protection class IP44 is without reached a hinged lid or an additional cover.
- the socket is very User-friendly, can be operated with just one hand. They are not special plugs required. There is no risk of injury or damage.
- the Socket can be produced in a series-appropriate and cost-effective manner using suitable processes.
- Fig. 1 a view of an outlet is shown.
- Protective conductor contacts 4 and a central fastening screw 5 for screwing the central disc with a base are by means of covers 3 closed as long as no plug is inserted.
- This protection against contact is designed such that a labyrinth any water that may have penetrated through the openings 2 leads back to the outside, so that no water gets inside the socket (to the base and the electrical contacts) can reach.
- the base has a support ring 7 for mounting the in a generally known manner Socket in a flush-mounted box.
- Fig. 1 further shows cuts A-A and B-B, these cuts under the Figures 3 and 2 are explained.
- a section B-B is shown through the socket.
- they are the openings 2 pushed covers 3 as well as the fastening screw 5 with the base 6 connected to the central disc with socket 1.
- the with the support ring 7 connected base 6 contains electrical connection contacts in a known manner 8.
- the position of a protective conductor contact 4 is indicated.
- FIG. 3 shows a section A-A through the socket
- FIG. 4 a detail Y 3 shows.
- the cover 3 by means of a Spring device 9 is acted upon, which cover 3 in the direction of opening 2 presses so that the cover 3 closes this opening 2 as long as no plug is inserted is.
- the openings in the socket pot 1 for the protective conductor contact 4 are provided with an elastic seal 10, which the breakthroughs around the protective conductor contact 4 completely against water and Seal ingress of dust. These openings are preferably made with an elastomer molded. When the plug is inserted, the elastic seal 10 follows the movement of the protective conductor contact 4, so that this seal is permanently preserved.
- Such "multi-component” parts is carried out by means of a series-compatible one Process, such as a two-component molded part or as an overmolded Insert or in assembly injection molding.
- the protective conductor contacts 4 are not firmly connected to the base 6, as is the case here is usually the case, but the electrical connection between the protective conductor connection in the base and the protective conductor contact 4 is done by a configuration Connector pin 11- connector rail 12 - socket 13, the connector pin 11 is firmly connected to the protective conductor contact 4, the protective conductor connection to the Connection rail 12 is connected and the connection socket 13 fixed to the connection rail 12 is connected.
- the contacting of the connecting pin 6 - connecting socket 13 so that the protective conductor contact 4 can remain on the socket 1.
- the opening for the assembly of the socket pot 1 on the base 6 is expedient serving fastening screw 5 provided with an elastic seal.
- an elastic seal is between cover and housing or between the central disc and Frame provided an elastic seal.
- FIG. 5 shows a perspective view of the socket.
- a detail X highlighted which is shown in Fig. 6.
