Definitions

  • the invention relates to a drill head for a drill for manufacture of boreholes with displacement of the soil with a threaded core, which is of a larger diameter at its rear Continuously helical end to a tip at its front end tapered so that the outer circumference of the thread core in cross section seen a stepped contour with horizontal and vertical Forms step surfaces.
  • Such a drill is known from DE 29 36 060 C2.
  • the drill head can be detachably attached to a drill pipe.
  • the drill head is as Hollow body formed and carries a collar on the back, in which the Drill pipe can be inserted with its front end.
  • the core surrounding the drill head continuously re-threads pressed outside, the displacement forces with increasing Increase the diameter of the drill head.
  • power losses occur because the soil with increasing basic voltage in an area with lower basic voltage dodging. This phenomenon is also known as "slip".
  • An alternative drill is known from DE 32 35 118 A1.
  • the drill head has a discontinuous helical step with a square Cross-section that is on the outer catch of the thread core.
  • the nose provided according to the invention is used when screwing in the Drill head into the soil through the inclined surface of the nose one after Force directed above, which generates the slip described above reduced. This allows drilling to be carried out faster and higher Drilling performance is possible.
  • the nose extends continuously from the area of the rear end of the drill head to in the area of the top. This will along the largest possible Screw length of the drill head generates the upward force.
  • the radial extension is the nose about 1 to 5% of the maximum diameter of the thread core. This ensures that the reduction of Slips is ensured, however, that the nose is too large due to radial Expansion no other negative effects on the drilling process causes.
  • the radial extension of the nose may be preferred 10 to 20 mm, in particular approximately 15 mm.
  • the ratio of radial to axial extension of the nose can be about 2: 1. Such training has positive results in test trials shown.
  • a helically surrounding rib is provided at the end of the drill head be that does not overlap with the nose.
  • the earth drill shown in Figs. 1 and 2 consists essentially from a drill pipe 1 and a single drill head 2.
  • the drill head 2 is a metallic hollow cone body with a thread core that extends from a larger diameter at its rear end to a point continuously tapering its front end so that the outer circumference of the thread core seen in cross section a step-shaped Contour with horizontal step surfaces 12 and vertical step surfaces 14 forms.
  • the metallic hollow cone body also has one helical inside so that it turns to the height of the turns has the same wall thickness everywhere. The only exception is the open top cone base, which has a larger wall thickness.
  • the reinforced cone base is provided with teeth 3, the gaps between the teeth 3 with the interior and the base opening of the Hollow cone body in connection.
  • the upper edge of the collar 5 has an inner bevel 7.
  • the Inner wall of the hollow cone body thus formed is with stiffening ribs Mistake.
  • the apex angle a of the drill head 2 designed in this way is approximately 50 up to 60 °.
  • one is continuous on the outer circumference of the thread core helically encircling nose 16 is provided, the underside 18 seen in cross section flush with the adjacent horizontal step surface 12 connects.
  • the top 20 of the nose 16 forms the bottom 18 an acute angle ⁇ of about 20 °.
  • the nose 16 extends continuously from the area of rear end or the cylindrical portion of the drill head up to the area of its top.
  • the radial extension of the nose is approximately 1 up to 5% of the maximum diameter of the thread core, preferably about 10 to 20 mm.
  • the ratio of radial to axial extension of the nose is about 2: 1.
  • the nose 16 is at its radially outer end rounded.
  • the drill pipe 1 is a metallic hollow cylinder whose outer diameter is only slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the collar 5. One end of this drill pipe 1 is between the teeth 3 of the Provide drill head 2 matching teeth 8.
  • the earth auger is installed by inserting the with teeth provided end of the drill pipe 1 in the open, inside the collar 5 located end of the drill head 2, whereby, as especially from Fig. 2nd it can be seen between the bevel 7 of the collar 5 and the lower one End of the drill pipe 1, a strand 9 of a suitable, sealing Packing material is arranged during the further pushing in of the drill pipe 1 in the drill head 2 automatically between the latter End and the inner wall of the collar 5 is taken. It results an excellent seal between the Drill tube 1 and the drill head 2.
  • the teeth 8 of the tube 1 and the teeth 3 of the drill head 2 are in engagement with one another, can be on the bevel 7, of which the aforementioned strand 9 is now entirely has removed a second strand 10 of the same sealing packing material Arrange.
  • This second strand is used when using the earth auger by acting on the outside of the auger in the borehole Water pressure in the slot between the bevel 7 and the drill 1 pressed, which further improves the seal between the Drill pipe 1 and the drill head 2 results.
  • the drill pipe 1 filled with concrete. After the concrete has hardened, If necessary, pull the drill pipe out of the drill hole.
