Definitions

  • the invention relates to a bottle carrier made of foldable flat material, in particular cardboard.
  • bottle carrier made of cardboard in the form of a group of bottles enclosing all sides box. It is also known that these bottle carriers have in a top wall two adjacent punched, which can be intervened with one hand to carry the bottle carrier on a strip-shaped handle formed between the punched. When using such a bottle carrier is disadvantageous that the hand can easily touch the bottle tops, where there are crown corks. In addition, a strong cardboard material must be used so that the handle does not tear during wear due to the considerable forces exerted by the filled bottles.
  • the US Pat. No. 6,065,590 discloses an article carrier having in the top wall a grip strip, the ends of which reach into end walls.
  • the grip strip is liftable over the top wall, wherein the lifting is difficult by a remaining below the grip strip top wall flap.
  • the lifting is limited by the fact that the grip strip in the vicinity of the end walls to the upper regions of the article applies.
  • a Zweilagtechnik the grip strip is achieved by a folded under this reinforcing strip. This is manufacturing technology relatively expensive and leads to local accumulations of material that can interfere with the storage of pre-glued blanks.
  • the US 5 639 017 and 5,915,546 concern article carrier with multi-layer grip strips of superimposed flaps of a top wall.
  • the grip strips extend into the end walls and can be raised via the cover walls. The lifting is limited by the application of the grip strips to the upper regions of the end-side articles.
  • the CA 1243957 A discloses a bottle carrier in which the top wall portion of two mutually only partially overlapping, lower and upper top wall parts is formed.
  • the lower cover wall part has a reinforcing flap to be under-struck under the middle section of the grip area.
  • the upper cover wall part is limited by the grip area.
  • the top wall portion in the central portion of the handle portion is three-ply and two-layered at the fork-shaped end portions of the handle portion.
  • the top wall area On one side of the grip area, the top wall area has only a single layer.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a bottle carrier, which has more favorable handling properties and has a sufficiently good grip portion.
  • the fork-shaped end portions extend from the top wall into the adjacent side walls, the fork-shaped end portions are partially pulled into the bottle carrier in some areas when the strip-shaped central portion is raised.
  • the fork-shaped end portions can penetrate with their forks in the free spaces next to the necks of bottles, especially between the necks of adjacent bottles. This makes it possible to lift the strip-shaped central portion particularly far from the bottles, so that the bottles disturb the gripping of the strip-shaped central portion less.
  • connection of the ends of the fork-shaped end portions with the side walls achieves a favorable introduction of the weight forces into the grip portion, which makes it possible to use a cardboard material which is less strong than in conventional bottle carriers, in which the grip strip is connected at the ends to the cover wall , This allows the Use of a cardboard material with a lower grammage or less strong quality and the saving of costs and weight.
  • the fork-shaped end portions each have two forks, which can penetrate, for example, in the free spaces on both sides of a bottle, wherein the space between the forks receives the neck of said bottle.
  • This embodiment is suitable for a bottle carrier having in the transverse direction to the handle portion a plurality of parallel rows each having an odd number of bottles. In practice, bottle carriers with three bottles per row are very common.
  • the fork-shaped end portions each have three forks that can penetrate, for example, in the free spaces on both sides of two bottles, the spaces between the three forks take the necks of said bottles.
  • This embodiment is suitable for bottle carriers, the transversely directed to the handle portion, parallel rows each having an even number of bottles. An example of this are bottle carriers with four bottles per row.
  • the fork-shaped end sections can also have more than three forks.
  • the weakening lines limiting the grip portion on the outside in the side walls run into fillets bent away from the grip portion. As a result, the force transmission between the ends of the handle portion and the side walls is improved and reduces the risk of tearing off the ends.
  • a further top wall is arranged, which has a defined by lines of weakness further strip-shaped central portion which is disposed below the strip-shaped central portion of the top wall, so that the strip-shaped central portion and the further strip-shaped central portion are raised together.
  • the two middle portions are formed substantially congruent.
  • the further strip-shaped central portion causes a doubling of material in the handle portion of the handle portion, which reduces the risk of tearing the handle and allows a more comfortable grip of the handle.
  • the further strip-shaped central portion is completely bounded by a line of weakness and connected to the strip-shaped central portion.
  • a line of weakness When lifting the handle portion of the further strip-shaped central portion is then separated out of the other top wall and reinforces the handle portion.
  • the load In the region of the fork-shaped end portions, the load is distributed to the plurality of forks, so that there is a gain of the handle portion is less significant.
  • the grip portion For convenient gripping of the grip portion, according to one embodiment, there are punched holes for a hand engagement on both sides of the strip-shaped middle section and / or the further strip-shaped middle section. The user can easily engage in the punched out and lift this convenient after enclosing the strip-shaped central portion or further strip-shaped central portion.
  • the strip-shaped middle section and / or the further strip-shaped middle section have / have tabs arranged in the punched-outs alongside the strip-shaped middle section / further below strip-shaped central portion are hinged.
  • the tabs further material reinforcement of the handle section is achieved and improves the comfort.
  • the further top wall has articulated on opposite sides side flaps, which are arranged on the inner sides of the side walls, with which the fork-shaped end portions are connected end side.
  • the forks are in the further top wall and / or in the side flaps adjacent to the edges of the other top wall adjacent to the side walls with which the fork-shaped end portions are connected end, provided by lines of weakness Umlenkklappen present, which are arranged below the forks, so that when lifting the strip-shaped central portion, the forks are deflected by the deflection flaps approximately arcuate.
  • lines of weakness Umlenkklappen present which are arranged below the forks, so that when lifting the strip-shaped central portion, the forks are deflected by the deflection flaps approximately arcuate.
  • At least the deflecting flaps arranged in the further top wall have at least one creasing line directed transversely to the fork tines. This achieves in particular that the deflecting flaps are gently bent and adjacent deflecting flaps in the further top wall and in the side flaps can escape each other when they are deformed by the fork-shaped end sections.
  • deflecting flaps arranged in the further top wall are tapered towards the side flaps, for example like arrowheads.
  • the taper has the advantage that the Umlenkklappen the insertion of bottles Do not block through the open side walls.
  • the diverter tabs protrude slightly into the container, the top bottle ends move along the tapered sides, lifting the diverter tabs so that they dodge the bottles.
  • the further strip-shaped middle section has two further fork-shaped end sections, each of which extends from the further top wall into the adjacent side flap and is connected at the outer ends to the side flap. This makes it possible to reinforce the entire grip portion of the top wall.
  • the fork-shaped end portions are pulled together with the other fork-shaped end portions in the spaces between the bottles or the side of the bottles. Both the forked end portions and the other forked end portions may have two, three or more forks.

  • the further strip-shaped central portion strip-shaped end portions, each of which extends from the further top wall in the adjacent side flap and the outer. End is connected to the side flap. If the further strip-shaped middle section also has further fork-shaped end sections, the strip-shaped end sections are middle fork tines of the further fork-shaped end sections.
  • the top wall and the further top wall are connected to each other.
  • the strip-shaped central portion and the further strip-shaped central portion are interconnected.
  • the top wall and the further top wall are connected to each other in other areas. Preferably, they are not connected to one another in the areas of the deflection flaps and the fork-shaped end sections in order not to impair a relative movement of the fork-shaped end sections to the further cover wall.
  • deflection flaps in the side flaps are preferably also not connected to the adjacent side walls.
  • the side flaps can be connected to the side walls. The side flaps can also be completely without connection to the adjacent side walls.
  • the compounds are preferably bonds. They can be flat, punctiform or linear or in any other suitable for a person skilled in execution. This applies to all compounds that the bottle carrier has.
  • the bottle carrier can therefore also be used for the return transport of the emptied bottles.
  • each pull-tab has an articulation in the vicinity of the top wall and is delimited by two weakening lines which are guided approximately parallel away from the articulation and which are connected to one another at a distance from the top wall.
  • the tear lines delimiting weakening lines can meet in a further embodiment in a short grip tab forming low point of the tear tabs. By tearing on the grip tabs, it is possible to open the tear tabs.
  • the grip tabs can form a kind of latch for reclosing the tear tabs.
