Scheuervlies, umfassend ein Flächengebilde aus untereinander verbundenen, groben Fasern, die ein dreidimensionales Netzwerk bilden, wobei eine kontinuierliche oder diskontinuierliche Schicht aus Kunstharz oder dergleichen den Fasern anhaftet, die einen Gehalt an Schleifkörnern aufweist, wobei zusätzlich an der Oberfläche der Schicht Reflektoren festgelegt sind, die im Streuverfahren in das Netzwerk über zumindest eine der Seiten des Scheuervlieses eingebracht sind.

Description

Technisches Gebiet
Die Erfindung befasst sich mit einem Scheuervlies, das ein Flächengebilde aus untereinander verbundenen groben Fasern umfasst, die ein dreidimensionales Netzwerk bilden, wobei eine kontinuierliche oder diskontinuierliche Schicht aus Kunstharz oder dergleichen den Fasern anhaftet, die einen Gehalt an Schleifkörnern aufweist.
Für Reinigungsvorgänge sind verschiedene Scheuerelemente bekannt, die verschiedene Aufgaben erfüllen können. So gibt es Scheuerelemente aus Schwammaterial, die verhältnismäßig weich sind und viel Wasser aufnehmen können, bei hartnäckigem Schmutz jedoch nur wenig wirksam sind. Zum Einsatz gelangen auch Scheuerelemente aus organischen Fasern, die eine deutlich höhere Reibfähigkeit haben. Die Reibfähigkeit der Fasern kann noch dadurch verstärkt werden, dass sie mit einer Schicht aus Kunstharz bedeckt werden, in welche Schleifkörner eingebettet sind. Durch die Schleifkörner wird eine hohe Scheuerwirkung erreicht. Die Fasergebilde werden in der Regel als Vlies hergestellt in Form eines dreidimensionalen Netzwerks, wobei die Fasern untereinander an ihren Kreuzungspunkten miteinander verklebt sind. Das Verkleben kann durch direktes Verkleben der Fasern untereinander oder auch unter Mithilfe eines Klebemittels erfolgen. Scheuervliese dieser Art sind im Handel erhältlich. Sehr verbreitet ist ein Scheuerelement, das aus einem Scheuervlies mit daran befestigtem Schwamm besteht.
Im Verlaufe des Gebrauchs des Scheuervlieses werden die Schleifkörner als auch das Kunstharz aufgebraucht und das Scheuervlies verliert mehr und mehr an Wirksamkeit. Dies ist für die das Scheuervlies benutzende Person nicht sofort und zweifelsfrei erkennbar. Deshalb haben die Scheuervliese den Nachteil, dass sie mit der Zeit an Wirksamkeit verlieren, ohne dass dieses erkannt wird.
Darstellung der Erfindung
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, hier Abhilfe zu schaffen und das Scheuervlies so auszugestalten, dass für den Benutzer der Verlust der Wirksamkeit erkennbar wird.
Die Lösung der gestellten Aufgabe erfolgt bei einem Scheuervlies der eingangs genannten Art durch die Merkmale des Anspruchs 1. Die Unteransprüche enthalten vorteilhafte Ausbildungen des Erfindungsgegenstands.
Durch das Einbringen von Reflektoren in das Scheuervlies wird für den Benutzer des Scheuervlieses sichtbar, ob und in welchem Ausmaße das Scheuervlies noch wirksam ist. Die Reflektoren werden neben den Schleifkörnern zusätzlich an der Oberfläche der Kunstharzschicht, die an den Fasern anliegt, festgelegt. Sie werden deshalb in gleichem Maße wie die Schleifkörner bei der Benutzung des Scheuervlieses aufgebraucht. Wenn das Scheuervlies keine sichtbaren Reflektoren mehr aufweist, ist seine von den Schleifkörnern herrührende Wirksamkeit aufgebraucht.
Die Reflektoren können im Streuverfahren in das von den Fasern gebildetete Netzwerk eingebracht werden. Dabei kann das Scheuervlies auf einer seiner Scheuerseiten oder auch auf beiden seinen Scheuerseiten dem Streuverfahren unterworfen werden.
Die Reflektoren können eine unterschiedliche Gestalt haben. Wichtig ist, dass sie spiegelnde Oberflächen aufweisen. So können beispielsweise kornförmige oder plättchenförmige Reflektoren eingesetzt werden. Eine unregelmäßige Gestalt wird bevorzugt. Die Größe der Reflektoren wird so gewählt, dass sie, bezogen auf ihre mittlere Größe, gleich oder geringfügig größer sind als die benutzten Schleifkörner. Sie sind folglich im Mikrometerbereich und mit bloßem Auge nur über ihre reflektierenden Flächen erkennbar.
Günstig ist die Verwendung von Glimmer als Reflektoren. Möglich sind aber auch aus Kunststoff bestehende Reflektoren.
Die Reflektoren können bei der Herstellung des Scheuervlieses zusammen mit den Schleifkörnern in das Scheuervlies eingebracht werden. Möglich ist aber auch eine von den Schleifkörnern getrennte Einbringung der Reflektoren in das Scheuervlies.
Bevorzugt werden die Reflektoren gleichmäßig über den gesamten Querschnitt in das Scheuervlies eingelagert. Möglich ist aber auch eine andere Einlagerungsform, beispielsweise indem die Reflektoren von einer Außenfläche des Scheuervlieses ausgehend in abnehmender Menge zum Inneren des Scheuervlieses hin in das Scheuervlies eingelagert sind. Letzteres ist besonders günstig, wenn das Scheuervlies mit einem Schwamm verbunden ist.
Dann kann beispielsweise die mit dem Schwamm verbundene Außenfläche des Scheuervlieses eine geringere Menge an Reflektoren aufweisen, so dass durch die Anzahl der Leuchtpunkte im Scheuervlies der Benutzer erkennen kann, dass das Scheuervlies mehr und mehr aufgebraucht ist.
Die Dicke des Scheuervlieses sowie auch die Menge der eingebrachten Reflektoren kann unterschiedlich sein je nach Verwendungszweck des Scheuervlieses.

Claims (9)

  1. Scheuervlies, umfassend ein Flächengebilde aus untereinander verbundenen, groben Fasern, die ein dreidimensionales Netzwerk bilden, wobei eine kontinuierliche oder diskontinuierliche Schicht aus Kunstharz oder dergleichen den Fasern anhaftet, die einen Gehalt an Schleifkörnern aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zusätzlich an der Oberfläche der Schicht Reflektoren festgelegt sind, die im Streuverfahren in das Netzwerk über zumindest eine der Seiten des Scheuervlieses eingebracht sind.
  2. Scheuervlies nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Reflektoren aus Glimmer bestehen.
  3. Scheuervlies nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Reflektoren aus Licht reflektierendem Kunststoff bestehen.
  4. Scheuervlies nach Anspruch 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Reflektoren von unregelmäßiger Gestalt sind.
  5. Scheuervlies nach Anspruch 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Reflektoren plättchenförmig gestaltet sind.
  6. Scheuervlies nach Anspruch 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Reflektoren kornförmig gestaltet sind.
  7. Scheuervlies nach Anspruch 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Reflektoren gleichmäßig über den gesamten Querschnitt in das Scheuervlies eingelagert sind.
  8. Scheuervlies nach Anspruch 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Reflektoren von der Außenfläche des Scheuervlieses ausgehend in abnehmender Menge zum Inneren des Scheuervlieses hin in das Scheuervlies eingelagert sind.
  9. Scheuervlies nach Anspruch 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Scheuervlies mit einem Schwamm verbunden ist.
