Aus der US 6014990 A ist eine Vorrichtung zum Strecken eines eingetragenen Schussfadens, insbesondere für eine Luftdüsenwebmaschine, bekannt. Während der Rückwärtsbewegung der Weblade mit der Streckvorrichtung kommt das zuvor eingetragene Schussfadenende bei bevorzugt vorgesehener Schussfadenlänge automatisch frei. Die erfindungsgemäße Halteeinrichtung bietet den Vorteil, dass für ihren Betrieb ausschließlich die an der Maschine ohnehin vorhandene Druckluft benötigt wird. Ein Ringverdichter sowie eine Saugdüse im Bereich der Schussfadenstreckeinrichtung und diverse Schläuche entfallen, wodurch Kosten und Platz gespart wird.

Claims (6)
- An air jet weaving loom having a device for holding the ends of weft threads, comprising a base element (1), which has a flow channel (7) pressurisable with compressed air in which the extraction-side ends of the weft threads inserted in a shed are positioned and temporarily held, characterised in that the base element (1) is arranged fixedly on the air jet weaving loom.
