Abstract

The assembly, consisting of a covering plate with two or more sliders set at an angle to one another and a fixing bracket, has the bracket folded to form two channels to receive parts of the sliders, the channels being set at the same angle as the sliders. Each of the channels has a rebated edge which engages with a slider to allow adjustment, and the bracket also has holes for fixing to a roof batten. The bracket can be made from a light alloy, stainless or galvanised steel, or plastic, and the plate can have an inner anti-vibration coating bitumen or other elastic material.
