Description

The invention relates to a device for processing textile fibers according to the preamble of patent claim 1, a suitable for producing such a device carding and usable for producing these carding sawtooth wire sections.

Devices of the type described in the introduction are used, for example, in the form of pre-dissolving sections in cards or carding machines suitable for producing a non-woven fabric with uniformly aligned fibers of a fiber material with non-uniform fiber orientation. Hereinafter, the function of such cards or carding will be explained with reference to Figures 3 to 5. FIG. 3 shows a schematic representation of the basic structure of a carding machine or carding machine. Thereafter, the carding machine has a supply channel, generally designated 12, for supplying the fiber material consisting of disordered fibers to a pre-release section 20. With this Vorauflösesektion 20, the fiber material is presented to the drum 30 of the card. This tambour is a roller, which is provided on its outer surface with a tick and / or sawtooth all-steel set. When operating the card, the spool is rotated about its roller axis. In this case, the fibers presented by the pre-resolution section are detected by the clothing and aligned in the direction of rotation of the roller. In order to improve the fiber orientation, flat bars 32 are arranged distributed in the circumferential direction over the lateral surface of the spool. These flat bars have a work surface facing an working position of the lateral surface of the main cylinder, which can also be formed in the form of a tick and / or sawtooth all-steel garnish. In this case, the flat bars can be either fixed or moved in a direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the spool direction. Finally, the nonwoven fabric is removed with a doffer roller 14 and fed to further processing. In the carding machine described with reference to FIG. 3, the pre-resolution section on the one hand serves for a controlled feeding of the disordered fiber material to the spool and, on the other hand, for a uniform distribution of the fiber material over the entire axial length of the spool.

Fig. 4 zeigt eine Detaildarstellung dieser Vorauflösesektion 20. Fig. 4 shows a detailed illustration of this pre-resolving section 20. In the prefilter section 20 shown in this figure, a total of 3 lickerin rollers 22, 24 and 26 are provided which are rotatable about the roller axes 22a, 24a and 26a in the directions indicated by the arrows A. Each of the licker-in rollers 22, 24 and 26 has a circular cylinder jacket-shaped processing surface, which can be equipped with a tick and / or sawtooth all-steel set. In particular, when using high performance cards and high performance carding for short and long staple processing of textile fibers of natural or synthetic polymers, it is common to the individual lickerins 22, 24 and 26 also so-called Festkardierelemente 23, 25 and 27 assign, so as to achieve a better fiber distribution. The arrangement of these Festkardierelemente is explained in Fig. 5 by way of example for the Festkardierelement 27. Fig. 5a shows a section along a direction perpendicular to the roll axis 26a cutting plane and Fig. 5b is a plan view of the Festkardierelement 27. From Fig. 5a shows that the Festkardierelement 27 essentially of a support member 27a and fixed on this support member 27a sawtooth wire sections 27b exists. In this case, these sawtooth wire sections 27b extend approximately tangentially to the lateral surface of the lickerin roller 26, which is likewise provided with a sawtooth all-steel fitting. According to FIG. 5b, the fixed carding element has a multiplicity of sawtooth wire sections arranged side by side and fixed on the carrier element 27a. In conventional carding the Festkardierelemente have a width of about 32 to 52 mm and are made of cast iron, steel, aluminum, magnesium or synthetic material, wherein between the tips of the Sägezahndrahtstreifen 27 b and those of the set of lickerin a minimum distance in the order of 0 , 1 to 1.0 mm is complied with. In the zone of closest approach of the sawtooth wire strips 27b to the clothing of the licker-in roll 26, a fiber streaking occurs which effects a first orientation of the fiber material and a uniform distribution of this fiber material. The width of the zone along which the Faserverstreichung takes place, corresponds approximately to the average fiber length of the fiber material presented.

When using the cards explained with reference to FIGS. 3 to 5, it has been shown that uneven fiber distribution can occur in the nonwoven fabric removed by the doffer roll 40, especially at high operating speeds.

By the embodiment of the carding element shown in Fig. 1, two Faserverstreichzonen 140 and 150 are formed between the set of lickerin 110 and the Festkardierelement.

FIG. 2a shows a side view of these sawtooth wire sections, while FIG. 2b shows a sectional view along the sectional plane AA in FIG. 2a. In the embodiment of the invention shown in Fig. 2, the extension of the segment 132 with the segment 134 includes an angle α of about 15 °. This means that the segments 132 and 134 enclose an angle β of about 165 ° with each other. The angle α of 15 ° is used for licker-diameter of about 180 mm. For larger pre-overs diameters, a much smaller angle can be used. As can be seen particularly clearly in FIG. 2 a, each of the segments 132 and 134 has a number of saw teeth 138 arranged one behind the other, while the connecting segment 136 is designed without saw teeth. In the sectional view according to FIG. 2b it can be seen that the sawtooth wire section 130 has a foot section 130a and a leaf section 130b, wherein the saw teeth are formed within the blade portion 130b. The foot portion 130a has a larger width than the blade portion 130b. Therefore, when a plurality of sawtooth wires of the kind shown in Fig. 2 are sealed, a fitting groove is formed between the blade portions 130b.

The invention is not limited to the embodiments explained with reference to the drawing. Rather, the use of carding elements with V-shaped or multi-W-shaped basic shape is also intended. Finally, a polygonal shape of the working surface of the carding element with more than two polygon sections is intended.
