Abstract

Die Verpackungseinheit hat eine Aufnahmekammer (21) für Popcorn oder dergleichen, an deren Außenseite eine Tasche (12) befestigt ist, in die ein Getränkebecher (20) so einsteckbar ist, daß diese in einem Klemmsitz sitzt. Die Verpackungseinheit kann von einem Benutzer bequem getragen werden, indem dieser die Tasche (12) mit einer Hand umgreift. Wenn die Verpackungseinheit aus einem einteiligen Zuschnitt gebildet ist, ist sie mit einem geringen Aufwand herstellbar und aufstellbar. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackungseinheit mit einer mit einem Boden versehene Aufnahmekammer für Popcorn oder dergleichen.
Es ist weit verbreitet, daß beispielsweise Besucher von Filmtheaterbetrieben und sogenannten Multiplexen Popcorn, Maischips oder dergleichen und ein Getränk mit in die Vorstellung nehmen, die sie zuvor an einem Verkaufsstand oder einem Verkaufsraum des Filmtheaterbetriebs gekauft haben. Das Popcorn oder dergleichen wird dabei in einer Tüte oder in einer aus einem Karton gebildeten Verpackung und das Getränk in einem getrennten Getränkebecher angeboten. Für den Besucher ist es dabei ziemlich unbequem, die beiden getrennten Verpackungseinheiten zu transportieren und zu halten, wozu er meist beide Hände benötigt.
Dasselbe Problem ist auch bei anderen Veranstaltungen wie Sportveranstaltungen, auf Messen und Ausstellungen zu beobachten, wenn Besucher eine Tüte oder eine Schachtel mit einem Nahrungs- oder Genußmittel und ein Getränk gekauft haben.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Verpackungseinheit anzugeben, mit der beispielsweise Popcorn und Chips, aber auch Pommes frites, Backwaren, Teigwaren, fritiertes Geflügel, fritierter Fisch etc. und ein Getränk in einem sogenannten Gebinde mit einer Hand zu tragen ist.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die Merkmale des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst. Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den Unteransprüchen gekennzeichnet
Die Erfindung sieht eine Verpackungseinheit mit einer mit einem Boden versehenen Aufnahmekammer für Popcorn oder dergleichen vor, bei der außen an der Aufnahmekammer eine nachfolgend als "Tasche" bezeichnete Halterung befestigt ist, in die ein Getränkebehälter einsetzbar ist. Die Verpackungseinheit besteht aus Karton, einer festen Papier-qualität oder beispielsweise auch aus Kunststoff.
Der Getränkebehälter hat bevorzugt die Form eines sich nach oben leicht konisch verbreitenden Bechers, der in die Tasche in einen Klemmsitz einsteckbar ist. Hierdurch wird die Tasche fest um den Becher gespannt, wodurch Becher und Tasche eine feste Einheit bilden, die ausreichend stabil gegen von außen ausgeübten Druck ist. Da die Tasche an der Seitenwand der Aufnahmekammer befestigt ist, kann diese erfindungsgemäße Kombinationsverpackung bequem mit einer Hand getragen werden, die die Tasche umfaßt.
Grundsätzlich kann als Halterung z.B. auch ein ringförmiger Haltebügel bzw. eine ringförmige Haltelasche außen an der Aufnahmekammer befestigt sein.
Die Aufnahmekammer hat bevorzugt im Grundriß eine eckige Form, die rechteckig oder quadratisch sein kann. Wenn nach einem weiteren Vorschlag der Erfindung die Tasche im Bereich einer Ecke befestigt ist, hat dies eine besonders stabile Einheit aus Aufnahmekammer und Tasche zur Folge.
Während die Aufnahmekammer zur Aufnahme des Popcorns etc. einen Boden hat, ist dies bei der Einstecktasche nicht erforderlich. Sie besteht bevorzugt nur aus einer Seitenwand, die den eingesteckten Getränkebecher umschließt. Dabei liegt es aber im Rahmen der Erfindung, daß auch die Tasche einen Boden haben kann, auf dem der Getränkebehälter aufruhen kann, der dabei auch nicht unbedingt in einem Klemmsitz stecken muß, obwohl dies die bevorzugte Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist.
Weiter wird mit Vorteil vorgeschlagen, daß die Tasche aus Seitenteilen gebildet ist, die über Falzlinien ineinander übergehen. Hierbei ist es zweckmäßig, daß die Falzlinien parallel zueinander verlaufen, so daß die Tasche über Ihre Höhe einen konstanten Querschnitt hat. Dies ist aber nicht unbedingt erforderlich, sondern die Falzlinien können auch im Winkel zueinander verlaufen, so daß sich die Tasche nach oben hin verbreitert.
Dabei sind zweckmäßigerweise drei Seitenteile vorgesehen, die vorzugsweise dieselbe Breite haben, so daß die Tasche (bevor der Getränkebecher eingesteckt wird) einen quadratischen Grundriß hat. Die vierte Seite wird bevorzugt durch das zugeordnete Seitenteil der Aufnahmekammer gebildet.
Alternativ hierzu kann die Tasche auch aus vier eigenen Seitenteilen bestehen, von denen eine außen an die Aufnahmekammer angeklebt ist.
Wenn nur drei Seitenteile für die Tasche vorgesehen sind, kann das erste und das dritte Seitenteil jeweils mit einer Befestigungslasche versehen sein, die an die Außenwand der Aufnahmekammer angeklebt wird.
In einer besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Verpackungseinheit wird die Tasche jedoch nicht durch einen von der Aufnahmekammer getrennten Zuschnitt gebildet, sondern die Aufnahmekammer und die Tasche werden aus einem einteiligen Zuschnitt ausgebildet. Hierdurch ist die Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Verpackungseinheit erheblich vereinfacht. In weiteren Einzelheiten hierzu wird vorgeschlagen, daß ein endseitiges Seitenteil der Aufnahmekammer in ein Seitenteil der Tasche übergeht, und daß das gegenüberliegende Seitenteil der Tasche über eine Falzlinie in eine Befestigungslasche übergeht, die außen an dem benachbarten Seitenteil der Aufnahmekammer befestigt ist. Wie bereits erwähnt, erfolgt diese Befestigung dann, wenn die Verpackungseinheit aus Pappe besteht, durch Kleben, während bei einer Kunststoffverpackungseinheit auch Schweißen in Betracht kommt.
Weiter wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Unterkante der Tasche mit der Bodenkante der Aufnahmekammer fluchtet. Hierauf ist die Erfindung aber nicht beschränkt, sondern die Tasche kann auch oberhalb der Unterkante der Aufnahmekammer enden.
Zweckmäßigerweise endet die Oberkante der Tasche unterhalb der Oberkante der Aufnahmekammer, was aber auch nicht unbedingt der Fall sein muß. In einer zweckmäßigen Ausgestaltung der Erfindung erstreckt sich die Tasche etwa über 60 bis 80 % der Höhe der Aufnahmekammer.
Die Oberkanten der Seitenteile der Tasche können eine gewölbte Form haben, wobei beispielsweise ein flacher Kreisbogenausschnitt so weggeschnitten ist, daß die Eckbereiche die größte Höhe haben.
Die Einstecktasche muß nicht unbedingt aus durch Falzlinien getrennten Seitenteilen gebildet sein, obwohl dies besonders vorteilhaft ist. Grundsätzlich könnte die Tasche auch eine Kreiszylinderform oder Kegelstumpfform haben, wodurch die Herstellung der Verpackungseinheit aber aufwendiger wird.
Die erfindungsgemäße Verpackungseinheit kann nicht nur bequem mit einer Hand getragen und gehalten werden, sondern sie vereinfacht und beschleunigt auch die Abgabe bzw. den Verkauf von Popcorn oder dergleichen und einem zugehörigen Getränk, was gerade bei Filmtheaterbetrieben und sogenannten Multiplexen sehr wünschenswert ist, da kurz vor Beginn einer Vorstellung eine große Nachfrage nach Popcorn oder dergleichen mit zugehörigem Getränk herrscht, die mit Hilfe der erfindungsgemäßen Kombinationsverpackung sehr viel schneller befriedigt werden kann.
Weitere Einzelheiten der Erfindung ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung einer Ausführungsform der erfindungsgemäßen Verpackungseinheit sowie anhand der Zeichnungen. Dabei zeigen:

Der in Figur 1 dargestellte Zuschnitt zeigt vier durch Gelenkfalze 1 voneinander getrennte Seitenteile 2 einer Aufnahmekammer 21 für Popcorn oder dergleichen, die an ihren Unterkanten über weitere Gelenkfalze 3 in Bodenteile übergehen. Das in der Abbildung linke Seitenteil 2 geht über einen weiteren Gelenkfalz 4 in eine Klebelasche 5 über, die an der Innenseite des rechten Seitenteils 2 angeklebt wird.
Die im Wechsel angeordneten Bodenteile 6 und 7 übergreifen einander im aufgestellten Zustand der Verpackungseinheit, wobei die Bodenteile 6 durch schräge Gelenkfalze in Bodenabschnitte 9 übergehen, die mit den benachbarten Bodenteilen 7 verklebt werden.
Das in der Abbildung rechte Seitenteil 2 der Aufnahmekammer geht bevorzugt über eine Falzlinie 10 in die Seitenteile 11 der Einstecktasche 12 über. Die Seitenteile 11 sind durch Gelenkfalze 13 unterteilt, wobei sich über eine Falzlinie 14 eine Klebelasche 15 anschließt, die an der Außenseite des linken Seitenteils 2 der Aufnahmekammer 21 angeklebt wird.
Die Unterkanten 16 der Seitenteile 11 fluchten mit den Gelenkfalzen 3 bzw. den Unterkanten der Seitenteile 2.
Die Oberkanten 17 der Seitenteile 2 haben eine gewellte Form, wobei das linke Seitenteil 2 einen kreisbogenförmigen Abschnitt 18 hat.
Die Oberkanten 19 der Seitenteile 11 haben eine Kreisbogenform, die symmetrisch zur Mittellängsachse der Seitenteile 11 verläuft.
Die aus dem beschriebenen Zuschnitt gebildete Verpackungseinheit ist in Figur 2 in einem Zustand dargestellt, den dem ein Getränkebecher 20 in die Tasche 12 eingesteckt ist. Der Getränkebecher 20 befindet sich in einem Klemmsitz in der Tasche 12, wodurch der Getränkebecher 20 sicher darin gehalten ist. Ein Benutzer kann die Verpackungseinheit in diesem Zustand bequem tragen, indem der die Tasche 12 mit einer Hand umfaßt.
Die erfindungsgemäße Kombinationsverpackung ist beispielsweise auch für Schnellrestaurants, Kioske etc. bestens geeignet.

Claims (12)

  1. Verpackungseinheit mit einer Aufnahmekammer für Popcorn oder dergleichen,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß außen an der Aufnahmekammer (21) eine Halterung (12) befestigt ist, in die ein Getränkebehälter (20) einsetzbar ist.
  2. Verpackungseinheit nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Aufnahmekammer (21) im Grundriß eine eckige Form, vorzugsweise eine rechteckige oder quadratische Form hat, und daß die Halterung (12) im Bereich einer Ecke befestigt ist.
  3. Verpackungseinheit nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Getränkebehälter ein sich nach oben leicht konisch verbreitender Becher (20) ist, der in die Halterung (12) in einen Klemmsitz einsteckbar ist.
  4. Verpackungseinheit nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Halterung (12) aus Seitenteilen (11) gebildet ist, die über Falzlinien (13) ineinander übergehen.
  5. Verpackungseinheit nach Anspruch 4,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Falzlinien (13) parallel zueinander verlaufen.
  6. Verpackungseinheit nach Anspruch 4 oder 5,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß drei Seitenteile (11) vorgesehen sind, die dieselbe Breite haben.
  7. Verpackungseinheit nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Aufnahmekammer (21) und die Halterung (12) aus einem einteiligen Zuschnitt gebildet sind.
  8. Verpackungseinheit nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Seitenteil (2) der Aufnahmekammer (21) in ein Seitenteil (11) der Halterung (12) übergeht und daß das gegenüberliegende Seitenteil (11) der Halterung (12) über eine Falzlinie (14) in eine Befestigungslasche (15) übergeht, die außen an einem Seitenteil (2) der Aufnahmekammer (21) befestigt ist.
  9. Verpackungseinheit nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Unterkanten (16) der Seitenteile (11) der Halterung (12) miteinander fluchten.
  10. Verpackungseinheit nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Unterkanten (16) der Seitenteile (11) der Halterung (12) mit den Bodenkanten der Aufnahmekammer (21) fluchten.
  11. Verpackungseinheit nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Halterung (12) eine geringere Höhe hat als die Aufnahmekammer (21).
  12. Verpackungseinheit nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Oberkanten (19) der Seitenteile (11) der Halterung (12) eine derart gewölbte Form haben, daß die Eckbereiche die größte Höhe haben.
