Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a car wash with at least one cleaning device having a Variety of rotating and / or translationally movable, Flap-type cleaning elements, each a back element with two superimposed and have mutually connected layers of a carrier material, which on their sides facing away from each other wear a cleaning plush of cleaning fibers, wherein a plurality of strip-like cleaning elements substantially arranged parallel next to each other and at its one axial end region - the head region - connected to each other. Furthermore, the invention relates a cleaning element assembly for a car wash.
In today's usual car washes are used to clean the Vehicles used primarily rotary brushes, which are guided along the vehicle. Disadvantageous These brushes, however, that they scratch the vehicle paint and also quickly wear off. Furthermore, satisfactory cleaning results with the brushes usually only under the additional Use of chemical cleaning agents, which are expensive and on the other hand after the Wash in a complex manner removed from the dirty water Need to become. Because of this, come for some time Time increasingly in place of brushing lobe-like Cleaning elements used on a rotating or translationally reciprocable carrier are held. By the use of these cloths becomes Although the scratches in the paint significantly reduced, however is still a significant stake in additional Cleaning agents required.
From DE 198 11 942 A1 is further known in car washes Cleaning elements with a cleaning plush from cleaning fibers to use, as it is from the Household area is already known, where cleaning cloths up the basis of cleaning plush for example from the Companies Hara and Vileda are used. This cleaning plush have compared to the previous in the car wash sector used cleaning cloths the advantage of high cleaning effect, so that you completely or almost completely on additional chemical Cleaning agents can do without.
From DE 198 11 942 is further known, several of these Cleaning elements to a unit or cleaning arrangement to summarize, in which case several cleaning elements essentially parallel to each other arranged and at an axial end - the Head area - through a transverse to the longitudinal direction of the Connected cleaning elements extending carrier felt are. Such a formed unit can be done in a simple way on a corresponding carrier of a cleaning device be fixed.
In practice cleaning elements are usually used, which have a width of about 10 cm. It has However, it turned out that these cleaning elements in some cases, no optimal cleaning results achieve, especially if the cleaning elements are not very long, so they are a comparatively have high strength. In these cases namely with the cleaning elements in part Corner and edge areas can not be reached.
Aus der US 5,461,745 A sind schließlich Reinigungselemente bekannt, die ausgehend von ihrem freien Ende mittig geteilt ausgebildet sind. From US 5,461,745 A are finally cleaning elements known to be centered from their free end are formed shared.
The object of the invention is therefore a car wash of the type mentioned above in such a way that optimal Cleaning results are achievable. Furthermore, should a cleaning arrangement for such a car wash be specified.
This object is achieved in that the Cleaning elements based on a portion of their length from its opposite the headboard free end are formed centrally divided and in the headboard the cleaning elements each have a felt insert for solidification is sewn. Through the division made the cleaning elements is the strength of the cleaning elements especially lowered at their free ends, that even hard to reach places like corner areas can be reliably cleaned. It has shown that achieved very good results if the division is over 50 to 80% of the length of the Cleaning elements takes place.
According to a preferred embodiment, it is provided that the strip-like sub-elements, by the division the cleaning elements are formed, also are cut from their free end, this being also in the longitudinal direction and from the free End outgoing incisions significantly shorter are and only about 10 to 20% of the length of the cleaning elements need to extend.
In other words, the usually about 10 cm wide cleaning elements through the central main division divided into sub-elements with a width of about 5 cm and these sub-elements in turn are at their free ends divided into 2.5 cm wide strips.
The cleaning fibers and the carrier material of Back element consist in a preferred manner of a Material which has a low water absorption capacity possesses, so that the cleaning elements by water absorption not too heavy. As suitable materials have For example, polyester, polyether, polyamide and propylene, with polyester being the additional Advantage is that it has a good resistance to alkaline Has environments.
The two carrier material layers of the back element can connected in any suitable way it has proved to be expedient, the two Stick layers or in particular with a against high alkaline value resistant yarn of Kevlaer material to sew.
According to a preferred embodiment, it is provided in that the double-layered back element consists of a strip of carrier material which is essentially along its Longitudinal center line is folded up, the two superimposed layers at least in the area of connected to each other adjacent edge regions, especially glued or sewn. In the preparation of can then the carrier material over a large area with preferably a thread density of about 17 warp threads / cm and 15 weft threads / cm woven and the cleaning plush on the Carrier material are mounted in a known manner. The Flat, carpet-like structures then become stripes cut to the completion of the cleaning element be folded on each other, with the superimposed Carrier material layers are joined together.
It has been found that particularly good cleaning results be achieved when the cleaning plush has a pile height of 7 to 9 mm.
With regard to further advantageous embodiments of Invention is to the dependent claims and subsequent Description of an embodiment with reference to the drawing directed.
