Abstract

This vehicle wash unit has a number of rotating and/or translatorialy moving flap-like cleaning elements (1). These elements consist of a backing element of two layers sewn or glued together. The outer surface of the backing element is covered with a cleaning plush of cleaning filaments. Several parallel strip like elements are provided and are connected at the top by felt layer (2) below which the element is divided by a slit (4) in half with a second shorter slit (5) in each of the lower sections.
