Definitions
- the present invention relates to a safety device for doors automatic, including automatic tilting doors having an apron hinged on at least one arm telescopic maneuver, said safety device being to eliminate the risks of shearing during the operation of such doors.
- Document FR-A-2,615,896 describes an automatic door having the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- the architecture of a tilting type automatic door is such that it leads to the presence of a number of dangerous areas likely to generate accidents during its operation. More particularly, shear zones are observable at the level of different moving parts.
- tilting automatic doors consist of a door panel, or apron, two opposite edges of which are suitable for move in two pairs of vertical and horizontal rails.
- the apron is then hinged to the fixed posts of the door automatic via one or more operating arms, possibly telescopic.
- the apron When opening or closing the automatic door, the apron is animated by a complex movement of translation and relative rotation relative to the vertical and horizontal rails, as well as to operating arm.
- Shear zones appear at various points on the door automatic, and especially between the apron and the horizontal rails and vertical and between the deck and the maneuvering arm (s).
- the present invention overcomes the disadvantages of art previous by proposing a safety device for automatic door comprising an apron hinged on at least one operating arm telescopic, said safety device being inexpensive, easy to set up even on existing doors, and reduced weight so as not to interfere with the operation of the door tilting automatic.
- an automatic door type tilting having an apron articulated on at least one arm of telescopic maneuver operated by motor means themselves operated by control means, the door being articulated on two pairs of rails, characterized in that said door has a safety device and in that the safety device comprises contact means associated with said at least one telescopic operating arm and able to interrupt the motor means when an obstacle is placed in the shear plane located between the apron and said at least one arm of telescopic maneuver.
- the safety device is deformable so as to have at least one degree of freedom in the perpendicular direction at the shear plane.
- the means of contact are arranged on at least a part of the length of the telescopic operating arm, substantially at the shear plane.
- the contact means are associated with a support sheath disposed on the telescopic operating arm.

- the contact means are arranged between the telescopic operating arm and the inner face of the sheath wall support.
- the support sheath is substantially shaped complementary to that of the telescopic arm and is associated with Removable way to the telescopic arm.
- the contact means include contact areas whose approximation leads to the shutdown motor means, said contact zones being capable of driving electricity.
- Figure 1 is a schematic side view of an automatic door tilting 1 having a substantially quadrangular apron 2 hinged on two telescopic operating arms 3 and 4 (only the arm 3 being visible in the figure 1).
- the apron 2 is able to slide in a double pair of parallel rails horizontal 5a, 5b and vertical 6a, 6b, via the ends upper edges 2a and lower 2b of said apron 2.
- each of the operating arms (3, 4) is rotatably mounted around a secondary axis X2 on respectively one of the lateral edges of the deck 2.
- the opposite end of the maneuvering arms (3, 4) is, for its part, rotatably mounted around a primary axis X1 on respectively the pillars 7a and 7b supporting the entire automatic tilting door 1, and in particular the two pairs of horizontal rails 4a, 4b and vertical 5a, 5b.
- Control means are provided for actuating the operating arms (3, 4) by intermediary motor means, also known in themselves and not shown for the sake of clarity, and associated for example with operating arm (3, 4) at the primary axis X1.
- the control means may consist, for example, of a electronic card capable of managing all the cycles of opening and closing the automatic tilting door 1.
- the architecture of an automatic door type tipping causes the appearance of a number of zones of shearing that can be dangerous during operation of said automatic tilting door.
- shear zones appear between the arms maneuver (3, 4) and the apron 2 during its rotation about the axis X1.
- the shear zones are identified in Figure 1 by sectors angles marked by double arrows.
- FIG. 2 is a schematic perspective view of one of the arms of telescopic maneuver (3, 4) capable of equipping the overhead door automatic 1 illustrated in Figure 1.
- the operating arm 3 comprises two telescopic tubes 3a and 3b of substantially quadrangular section.
- the inner tube 3b is shaped substantially complementary to that of the outer tube 3a in which it slides.
- One end of the telescopic arm 3 (corresponding to one of the ends of the outer tube 3a) carries the primary axis X1 to which are connected the motor means capable of actuating the tilting of the deck 2.
- the primary axis X1 can also be connected to a device of compensation, known in itself and not shown, intended to balance the automatic tilting door 1 during its rotational movement.
- the opposite end of the operating arm 3 (corresponding to one of the ends of the inner tube 3b) carries the secondary axis X2 on which is rotatably mounted the apron 2 of the automatic tilting door 1.
- the primary axes X1 and secondary X2 are both in parallel directions but are oriented in opposite directions vis-à-vis the operating arm 3.
- FIG. 3 is a perspective representation of a telescopic arm 3, such as that illustrated in FIG. 2, and equipped with a device anti-shear security according to the invention.
- Said safety device comprises contact means in the form of contact tube 8 and 9, the details of which are given in FIGS. 4 and 5.
- FIG. 4 is a sectional view of the contact tube 8 which comprises known manner, a substantially tubular deformable casing 10, made for example of flexible rubber.
- Said tubular casing 10 comprises, on at least part of its outer surface, fixing means 11, for example removable, such only double-sided adhesive tape.
- the inner surface of the deformable envelope 10 is upholstered on two zones running along two generatrices substantially diametrically opposed, of a conductive material (12, 12 ') each enclosing a electric cable (13, 13 ').
- FIG. 5 illustrates the contact tube 8 subjected to an external action symbolized by the arrow f.
- the envelope 10 deforms bringing closer and bringing into contact the conductive zones (12, 12 '), having the effect of creating a short circuit.
- the contact tubes (8, 9) are arranged on at least the entire length of the telescopic operating arm 3, on the side walls adjacent to those carrying the primary axes X1 and secondary X2.
- the contact tubes (8, 9) are attached to the telescopic arm of maneuver 3 by any known method, and in particular by via fastening means, removable or not, such as a clip, a double-sided adhesive tape, or any other known means.
- a support sheath 14, of quadrangular shape substantially complementary to that of the telescopic operating arm 3, covers said telescopic operating arm 3 and the contact tubes (8, 9), and is held in position by means of the fastening means 11 arranged on the contact tubes 8 and 9.
- the support sheath 14 has two notches 14a, 14b (only the notch 14a being visible in Figure 3) shaped substantially U-shaped and located on opposite walls of the support sheath 14, at the level of primary axes X1 and secondary axes X2.
- the side walls (14c, 14d) of the support sheath 14 define the planes where shears due to rotation movements around the primary axes X1 and secondary X2.
- the assembly consisting of contact tubes (8, 9) fixed to the support sheath 14 has at least one degree of freedom in translation in one direction perpendicular to the side walls (14c, 14d) of the support sheath 14, that is to say in a direction substantially perpendicular to the planes of shear.
- the contact tubes (8, 9) are electrically arranged in series and at this point end, are electrically connected to each other at one of their ends.
- the electric cables (13, 13 ') are coupled at their level. end near the secondary axis X2.
- the electric cables (13, 13 ') are connected to an electronic component 15 ensuring the circulation of the current such as a diode or a resistor.
- the corresponding end of the contact tube 9 is connected, via electric cables (13, 13 '), to an electronic circuit 16, known in itself and translating the information received from the contact tubes 8 and 9.
- the said information is sent to the means of control actuating the motor means of the overhead door automatic 1.
- FIG. 6 is a partial view from above of the device of FIG. 3 when a force F is exerted on one of the side walls 14c or 14d of the support sheath 14.
- a force F can be generated by example, by the interposition of an object between the maneuvering arm 3 and the apron 2 in rotation.
- the tubes contacts (8, 9) deform and the contact areas (12, 12 ') of the tube contact 9 touch each other, resulting in a modification of the electrical state of the circuit.
- This modification is processed by the electronic circuit 16 which sends information to the control means that stop the movement of the door.
- Fig. 7 is a perspective view of a second embodiment of the safety device according to the invention.
- the support sheath 14 is directly in contact with the telescopic maneuvering arm.
