Description

The present invention relates to a station waiting and boarding-landing for urban transport.

People wishing to borrow a vehicle urban transit are constrained to wait at any of the different points stopping his route. Some of these points embarkation and disembarkation have been waiting station to improve the comfort of future passengers.

Various waiting stations are known planned urban transport routes of people. These are generally presented under the shape of a parallelepiped-shaped shelter on the face open front offering protection against bad weather for travelers in a situation of waiting. Of such shelters were disclosed in particular in Patent applications FR 2,720,431, FR 2,720,432, FR 2,727,444 and FR 2,727,445. This type of shelter can also be closed only on its back side and on one of its lateral faces, like the one described in application FR 2,642,879, offering travelers waiting for more limited protection.

It can still be completely open on all its faces, thus offering travelers only a very low protection limited to a roof. It is by example the case of the shelter described in the application for SWANSON patent GB 631.566A. This protection can be improved by the presence, at each of the two side ends of the shelter, a cabin phone supporting the end of the roof and serving windbreaker.

A recent trend is to rethink urban infrastructure, including bus shelters, no more in isolation, but in a complementary way with the corresponding urban vehicles. For example Mrs DEJEAMMES in her article "The evolution of the bus in the city "published in the journal "Engineers of the automobile" n ° 687, imagine a advanced sidewalk on the pavement at the location of the bus stop and an adjustment of its height with that of the bus floor to reduce the bus accessibility issues due to stepwell.

Some stations also include seats or benches for longer waits or for tired or disabled travelers. It's about for example the station described and represented in FR 2,727,945. Nevertheless they are not adapted to long-term expectations. Space interior at the resort being restricted, travelers are forced to uncomfortable promiscuity and embarrassing. Indeed, people sitting waiting and travelers wanting to enter or exit vehicles from public transportation interferes with each other.

This is also the case of the station disclosed in CONLAN US 5,363,608. space interior of this small-scale station has been shared in two waiting areas isolated by walls transparent. These two zones contain bulky equipment: in one cabin phone and a mailbox and in the other a bench and a newspaper distributor. The interior of the resort is heavily congested and can not accommodate few travelers, especially if they have also voluminous baggage, such as for example suitcases, bags or strollers.

In addition, the CONLAN station does not include any clear space to allow quick access to public transport vehicle for travelers ready to ship and waiting for short duration.

The object of the invention is to provide a waiting and boarding-disembarking station the interior space has been optimized and shared in one or several long waiting areas and one zone of transit allowing quick access to the vehicle of public transport. Thus, comfort and usability are considerably increased and the travelers do not interfere with each other.

Another object of the invention is to provide a waiting station providing travelers with a improved weather protection during their waiting in the station and until their entry in the transit vehicle.

Indeed, with the waiting stations the protection of travelers against precipitation and wind remains limited, passengers being particularly completely exposed in space between the shelter and the means of public transportation when embarking or disembarking.

The waiting and embarkation-landing station according to the invention comprises a structure awning extending the roof of the station and overlooking the public transit vehicle at level of his front door in order to achieve a threshold boarding and disembarking severe weather.

In addition, passengers waiting in the long-term waiting area are better protected, it is more isolated than a conventional shelter.

In addition, conventional stations being open on their front, they are implanted in withdrawal from the sidewalk so as to leave a safety interval between the roadway and travelers waiting in the station. Space free space between the back of the station and the entrances to houses or buildings intended for the pedestrian traffic is considerably reduced.

A problem arises in the narrow streets where shelters and conventional stations constitute obstacles on the path of pedestrians who have difficulties in making their way through space often restricted existing at the back of the station. Some then decide to bypass the station by the front in the case of clutter or density important in the narrow passage for pedestrians. These reckless or unconscious pedestrians expose themselves to risk of an accident that can be fatal and can annoying users waiting.

Unlike stations and shelters conventional, the waiting station according to the invention can to be placed exactly alongside the path taken by the public transport vehicle. She lets so behind it a maximum space for the passage pedestrians. Travelers waiting in the station are they perfectly protected from the dangers of circulation thanks to a protective wall closing the front of the station located next to the floor. This wall also prevents them from too close to the vehicle lane public transport. Travelers waiting at inside the station can no longer walk on the roadway to access the vehicle. They are constrained for that to borrow the threshold boarding-disembarking. In the same way, people arriving from the sidewalk for boarding immediately and persons disembarking from the vehicle of public transport are strongly encouraged to cross the station by taking the path connecting the threshold to the entrance opening of the station and can difficult to go through the roadway. Security of travelers is thus considerably strengthened.

The present invention further teaches a embodiment particularly adapted to be implanted on narrow or high sidewalks pedestrian traffic. According to this mode of realization, the station has an opening on its backside and / or on one or more of its faces sideways allowing pedestrians to enter the station and cross it without exposing itself to the dangers Traffic. Thanks to the structure and improved layout of the resort the invention, travelers waiting in such a mode of realization remain, despite these openings of entry, protected from the weather and are not disturbed by the pedestrian crossing.

In order to solve these technical problems the station waiting and boarding-landing according the invention is placed on the immediate edge of the floor. It has a protective wall on its front panel to protect travelers and oppose their passage on the roadway. Of preferably, its interior space is divided into an area long-term waiting surrounded by walls on three on its sides and the opening of which leads to inside the station and not in the street, and a short waiting area with an opening entrance to the station and a boarding threshold or of landing allowing protected access to the vehicle urban transport.

The long-term waiting zone is particularly protected in order to isolate travelers waiting for cold, wind and bad weather, but also urban noise. It also allows them to protect from splashing and dangers from the circulation. This area is arranged in such a way as to render the wait more pleasant for travelers. She can for example, to include individual seats, benches, supports of ischial support, tables, a display of information, etcβ

Short-term waiting zone, planned to accommodate travelers ready to embark, is much more unobstructed. It does not have seats, but is for example provided with support supports ischial or support structures and held for example of the handrail type. She permits to easily maneuver wheelchairs for disabled, strollers and other vehicles children, or any other bulky device, with a view to boarding or landing in or off the public transport vehicle, without being embarrassed by, and without disturbing travelers sitting in the area long-term waiting.

Preferably, the waiting zone of short duration continues with an intermediate space or threshold for access to the door of the transport vehicle in common protected by a canopy structure extending the roof of the station to shelter travelers until they enter the vehicle and vice versa from their exit to the inside of the station.

The waiting station according to the invention is in besides modular. It is possible to add one or several other long or short waiting zones duration, comprising one or more access thresholds vehicle. The station can thus, for example, include a threshold for each of the doors of the cars of the vehicle. The station can also be modified transversally and include for example a threshold access to each side of the station allowing the traveler to board in several vehicles public transport in the opposite direction or on different lines as part of a correspondence.

The waiting station according to this invention is intended for a transport system in common people within a larger agglomeration or less important. Different embodiments arising from each other are thus planned and will be described in detail below. The elements equivalents represented in the different figures will have the same numerical references. These variants derive from each other by changes in size, modifications or various additions. However, the functions general and essential remain the same.

On décrira tout d'abord la variante de base de la station selon l'invention en référence aux figures 1 à 4.We will first describe the basic variant of the station according to the invention with reference to Figures 1 to 4.

According to the basic variant, the station 1 is intended to be implanted on a sidewalk 2 at the edge of a carriageway or lane 3 where may operate a public transport vehicle. Vehicle 4 may be of any kind. he can for example, a bus, a bus, a bus metro or tramway train of a road vehicle self-guided or any other urban transport vehicle of passengers. Pavement 3 can be a pavement classic for automobile traffic. She can in addition to making the necessary arrangements for transit vehicle 4, such for example, circulation or guide rails. These arrangements not forming part of the invention, have not been represented in the different figures. Pavement 3 can also be exclusively reserved for the circulation of transport vehicles urban and sidewalk 2 consist of a quay bordering this way of public transportation.

The waiting station 1 has, in the first embodiment illustrated in FIGS. at 4, a generally parallelepipedic general shape.

It has a metal frame 5 comprising several posts or posts 6 of substantially vertical support or framing arranged at the outer faces of the station, delimiting the interior space 7 at the station. These For example, there are six amounts, such as shown in Figures 1 to 4. Between some of these uprights 6 extend vertical walls 8 insulating the interior space of the station in order to constitute a closed shelter for travelers waiting. These walls 8 consist of panels made of a material for example transparent or translucent, such as glass or plastic, providing visibility outward and letting in the light. The panels 8 can also serve as support for advertising posters or information materials for example, informing passengers about timetables, the tariffs or the route of the transport vehicle in common.

The interior of the station is protected by a roof structure 9 based on one hand on a beam 10 metallic and horizontal, extending longitudinally at the station between the amounts of support 6 and comprising on the other hand a set of cross members 11 metal, perpendicular to the beam 10 and located in a substantially horizontal plane. The roof structure 9 of the station can also be formed by several panels 12 made of glass or material transparent plastic.

The interior space 7 of the station according to the basic variant of the invention is divided into a zone long-term waiting 13 and a waiting area of short term 14.

The long-term waiting area 13 is completely or partially surrounded by walls 8 on three of its sides and opens on the inside of the waiting station. She is particularly protected in order to isolate weather, cold, wind and urban noise. This area is designed to accommodate improve the waiting conditions for travelers. She can include for example individual seats 15, benches 16, ischiatic support supports 17, work tables or ledges 18 allowing the travelers to ask their business. We can also for example, to provide in this zone a display information, an automatic terminal 19 for the purchase and issuance of tickets and / or composting, a distributor of drinks, food, tickets or currency, or any other simple device or useful for travelers or that can make more pleasant waiting. This zone can for example, but not limited to, be arranged in the manner shown in Figures 1 to 4.

This area makes the wait useful and more comfortable for travelers forced to wait for board a public transport vehicle. She can also be a meeting point or a protected place of rest and perfectly integrated into the urban landscape, allowing pedestrians and walkers tired of sitting comfortably so to rest a few minutes.

It is therefore much clearer than the long waiting area duration 13. It does not have seats but is by example provided with ischial support supports 17 or of support and holding structures 20 by example of the handrail type, arranged on the uprights 6, on horizontal bars 21 or 8. Travelers can easily maneuver wheelchairs for disabled, strollers and other vehicles of children, suitcases on wheels or any other object or bulky device, with a view to their boarding the public transport vehicle 4, without being disturbed by, and without disturbing, travelers sitting in the area long-term waiting 13.

The short waiting area 14 is unobstructed and does not have bulky equipment. It continues longitudinally through a passage transversal materialized by a signaling on the ground. This passage continues on the track side by a space intermediate 22 between the body of the station and the vehicle or a boarding / landing threshold 22, formed of a transverse advance 23 of soil 24 of the station on the edge of track 3, constituting a extension of sidewalk 2, a blanket and means of guiding and lateral protection of the flow of outgoing or incoming travelers. Access to the door of the vehicle is thus carried out without difference in level, facilitating boarding and disembarking for all travelers, a particularly elderly, disabled, accompanied by children or carrying heavy or bulky objects.

This advance 23 materializes the position of the access or exit door of the transport vehicle in common when stopping at the station.

The intermediate space 22 is lined with means or protection and guiding structures on the part and other of the threshold.

Cette caractéristique avantageuse de la station selon l'invention est illustrée plus particulièrement par la figure 3.The intermediate space or threshold 22 boarding and disembarking is partially closed superior and protected to the vehicle for example by a canopy structure 25 extending locally in elevation the roof 9 of the station according to a form curved. When the public transport vehicle 4 is stopped at the waiting station the invention, the outer end 26 of the canopy 25 partially covers it at its door entrance, to shelter travelers from inclement weather until they enter the vehicle and from their exit. This advantageous feature of the resort according to the invention is illustrated more particularly in Figure 3.

The waiting station according to the invention is closed on its front face, located next to the track or pavement 3, to the intermediate space boarding and disembarking 22 by separation longitudinal approach to the track. This separation, forming the longitudinal sidewall before the station, at least partially closes the face of the station located next to the track. It is realized for example by vertical panels 8 constituting a longitudinal protective side wall 29 which protects travelers waiting in areas long and short wait splashes and dangers of traffic and the isolates from the lane reserved for transport vehicles common. Thanks to this protective wall 29, the travelers waiting inside the station do not can not walk along the station from the outside on the track side and are obliged to borrow the boarding threshold 22 to access the vehicle, reinforcing their security.

This protective wall also allows to locate the station closer to the lane, leaving an extremely narrow area on the front side lane is practically limiting to a border, which allows clear an extra space at the back of the station.

The waiting station has on its face rear a 27 main entrance opening allowing travelers walking on the sidewalk 2 to penetrate in the short waiting area 14. Opening main entrance 27 is located opposite the threshold 22 protected from boarding and disembarking, thus the threshold 22 directly in communication with the Sidewalk 2 through an internal through path 28 safe and practical, for example being able to be materialized by a marking on the ground. People just arriving at moment of getting into the vehicle can quickly get return, without having to detour, from sidewalk 2 to public transport vehicle, using the internal path 28 through the station transversely then the boarding threshold. same, passengers leaving the transport vehicle in common land on the threshold 22 and can easily return to the sidewalk by the path internal 28 without being bothered by travelers in waiting, the amenities or the walls of the station. This inconvenience frequently encountered with bus shelters Convention, requiring passengers disembarking circumvent the shelter and this sometimes carelessly walking on the roadway is avoided.

Travelers, who come from within station, sidewalk or vehicle, are channeled and forced to use the path internal 28 secure, convenient and direct. The passengers are deterred from bypassing the station by the front of the makes the extremely narrow border between the station and the way but also and especially because equipment, such as guardrails, gates or support and guide structures 20, which can be added along boarding threshold 22 so to create obstacles hindering compel and help travelers to go through the threshold.

Figure 5 illustrates a second mode of realization of the waiting station according to the invention, specially designed to be installed on a sidewalk narrow width or in busy areas by pedestrians. The waiting station, according to second embodiment, presents a structure overall parallelepiped very close to that previously described. Its interior space 7 is also shared between a long waiting area duration 13 and a short waiting zone 14. The short waiting area 14 present on its face rear an inlet opening 27 and on its front face an intermediate space or boarding-landing threshold 22 sheltered by an awning 25, located at both ends of an internal path 28 transverse to the station and directly connecting the sidewalk 2 to public transport vehicle 4.

Le cheminement des piétons à travers la station est représenté par des flèches sur la figure 5.In order not to constitute an obstacle for pedestrians wishing to travel on the sidewalk, each side faces of the station according to this mode of embodiment has an opening 30 allowing the pedestrian crossing inside the station Wait. Pedestrians can enter the station waiting, cross it longitudinally and in come out on the other side without detour and without embarrass or be embarrassed by the waiting travelers. They can thus cross the waiting station without expose yourself to the dangers of traffic. The way pedestrians through the station is represented by arrows in Figure 5.

The lateral face of the waiting area of long time remains, despite the lateral opening 30, partially closed on one of its edges by a portion 31 of wall. This portion of the wall houses one of the longitudinal faces of the station, against the the wall of which are arranged the seats 15, benches and other equipment the long waiting area duration.

On the contrary, the longitudinal side corresponding to the open edge of the lateral face has no seats or the like. It remains clear to allow free movement of pedestrians to through the waiting station or allow waiting standing in case of affluence.

Thanks to the structure and layout of this embodiment of the station according to the invention, waiting travelers remain, despite the lateral openings 30, relatively protected bad weather and are not disturbed by the passage of pedestrians who can freely cross the station.

This embodiment is perfectly adapted when, despite the advancement of the station, as close as possible to the roadway, the free passage on the sidewalk between the buildings and the station remains narrow or where a high density of pedestrians is to be feared in this passage. Dangerous bypass of the station by the roadway is thus avoided thanks to the possible crossing of the waiting station by pedestrians.

Figures 6 and 7 illustrate two more embodiments derived from precedents by various modifications and additions, but of which the essential characteristics remain the same. These other two variants are just examples of non-limiting production, illustrating the modularity of the station according to the present invention.

According to these variants, several other zones waiting times and boarding-landing thresholds have been added to the previously described base station so to enlarge it longitudinally or transversely.

The variant shown in Figure 6 plus especially for busy areas includes, for example, three thresholds 22 boarding-landing with awning materializing location doors of the public transport vehicle when stop, to allow passengers to access simultaneously to several transport vehicles in different or multiple entries of the same vehicle. We can thus simultaneously access three doors, corresponding for example to three cars successive trains of the same urban transport train.

It involves indeed successively from left to right: a first threshold 22, a crossing zone waiting to long-term 13, a small short waiting area duration 14, a second boarding threshold 22, a second short waiting area 14, one closed area of long-term waiting 13 and a third boarding threshold 22. This station There are three openings on the rear 27 in front of each threshold 22 for direct access from the sidewalk to the public transportation vehicle by three internal paths 28.

The embodiment of Figure 7 is identical to that of Figure 6, but also includes a long waiting through zone 13 and a embarkation-landing threshold 22. This station is formed of a single station to which a combined station with two passes each side of which a mixed passage to four inputs / outputs, two of them facing the tracks along the station. These additions for example according to two additional elements, contiguous to the second long-term waiting area 13 and third threshold 22 of the previous variant, enlarge the station transversely to form a high capacity station.

This embodiment is perfectly adapted for a special station located on a central sidewalk between two paths taken by public transport vehicles in a zone of correspondence, circuit node or change of direction. Indeed, the last two thresholds boarding 22 communicate and are placed in the extension of each other, allowing access simultaneous to both ways extending from one side to the other from the central sidewalk. Passengers can to board several transport vehicles for example in correspondence. This embodiment also makes it possible to have need only one standby station for each stopping a public transit line and not two shelters corresponding to the two directions of movement of public transport vehicles on this line. This an enlarged standby station can also serve as stopping point for several transmission lines in urban commons.

The station, as represented on the Figure 7, can be entirely crossed by the pedestrians, their journey through the station being schematized by arrows. Pedestrians have no Circumvention impractical or dangerous to perform.

The waiting station according to the invention is modular at will to respond to different needs or wishes encountered in each situation. It is possible to add longitudinally or transversally one or more waiting zones of long or short term, as well as one or more thresholds for access to the vehicle. The layout and interior equipment can likewise be modified. However, the variants resulting from these various modifications, additions or deletions the essential characteristics of the station according to invention and are not beyond its reach as defined in the claims.
