Definitions
- the invention relates to an outer door for use as access to a garage according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such doors are for example as a garage door to the same side doors on the market.
- side doors to garage doors have a frame as a frame for anchoring the side door in a wall opening.
- Such frames are a closed frame made of metal profiles, which have a central portion engaging in the reveal opening, an outer portion engaging with the wall opening boundary, and an inner portion serving as a stop for the door. Since such side doors should be designed to be identical to a garage door, the door leaf of such side doors is usually similar to a garage door constructed.
- so-called Berry® gates are on the market, the rigid door leaves pivot in the whole from a substantially vertical closed position in a substantially horizontal opening position.
- the door leaf of such Berry® doors consists of a door leaf frame made of metal profiles and a filling inserted therein.
- the builder can choose the filling from an assortment himself.
- the same structure then have corresponding side doors to such Berry® gates.
- the door leaves are constructed of a door leaf frame with therein or mounted door panel.
- the door panel usually has a smaller thickness than the door leaf frame, so that the outer dimensions of the door are essentially determined by the door leaf frame. In this way, the same frame and the same frames can be used for all different door leaf fillings.
- the GB-A-2119428 discloses an outer door having a frame and a door leaf attached to the frame so as to be pivotable for opening into the interior of the space to be closed.
- the frame has frame beams formed by metal profiles.
- the door leaf is formed of a metal sheet assembled door leaf frame, in or on which a tabular door leaf filling is attached.
- a weather protection strip is provided on a lower horizontal Mosblattrahmenholm to protect the lower door gap against the ingress of rainwater.
- the weather protection strip absorbs the precipitation flowing from the door panel and discharges it in the direction of the weather-facing area outside the door opening to be closed.
- the object of the invention is to provide an outer door of the type mentioned, which is easy to use as an inwardly pivoting outer door, in which the precipitate is reliably dissipated and in which a flexible design of the door panel is possible.
- the invention is in principle also applicable to a designed as a wicket door in a garage door leaf outer door.
- the frame would be part of the garage door leaf.
- the outer door according to the invention is designed as a side door for use next to a garage door, wherein the frame is then formed as a frame for anchoring the outer door in the wall opening.
- the weather strip is attached to the lower horizontal Torblattrahmenholm. From this it extends according to a preferred embodiment of the invention with the door closed on the weather-exposed side beyond a doorstep.
- the precipitation is thus on the weather-exposed side - ie usually the outside - passed beyond the threshold.
- the weather or precipitation protection strip for example, in a flexible design - be formed with its lower edge lower than the upper edge of the door sill. But it is also sufficient if the weather strip above the threshold, but ends up offset from this outward. Precipitation then flows from the weather strip into the area outside the threshold and can no longer flow into the interior of the garage due to the upwardly protruding door threshold.
- the threshold can be formed, for example, by the lower horizontal frame rail and / or by a lower sealing strip provided thereon.
- a lower sealing strip is fastened, for example, on the lower frame spar and protrudes from it to form the threshold above.
- a sealing strip for forming the door threshold is attached to the outer edge of the lower frame spar.
- the door leaf frame is further formed on its peripheral sides, but at least on its lower side at the bottom, with an extending in the circumferential direction elevation.
- the door leaf sill forming sealing strip is particularly effective against the ingress of moisture, when this sealing strip is arranged in the vicinity of such a survey in the door closing state parallel to this.
- the lower sealing strip could rest against the survey, but it is sufficient, as to such outer doors for garages usually no major demands on tightness or heat protection are made even when through the door sill of the lower door gap z. B. only narrowed but not interrupted.
- the door according to the invention and / or its door leaf is symmetrical in a preferred embodiment with respect to the horizontal center line. This has the advantage that the door leaf is optionally usable with an inner or outer stop or alternatively also on the left or right of the frame frame can be stopped.
- the outer door according to the invention can be set up and / or mounted optionally for operation with the door leaf pivoting inwards or outwards.
- the lower frame spar or both horizontal frame members of the frame is arranged completely and / or partially removable on the frame.
- a predetermined breaking point for breaking off the stop profile area is provided in a further preferred embodiment.
- the remainder of the frame spar continues to stabilize the frame.
- the above-mentioned sealing strip can then on the outside directionally directed edge of the remaining part of the lower frame Holmes are plugged.
- the lower frame spar is preferably selectively attached to the frame, for example, welded. By removing the punctiform attachment - for example, drilling the welds - the lower frame spar can then be easily removed from the frame to remove the lower stop profile area, if in the floor area on site no lower frame rail desired, for example, no door sill is desired.
- the weather strip is preferably in cross-section L-shaped.
- the angle between the L-profile webs is preferably blunt.
- the weather strip with one of the L-profile legs can be attached to the lower door leaf frame spar, the other L-profile legs obliquely downwards and outwards to divert the precipitate from the door leaf.
- a (narrow) gap is left in the door leaf between the door leaf frame and the lower edge of the door panel, which is penetrated by the weather protection strip, for example by the above-mentioned L-profile legs in L-profile design.
- the weather strip different techniques are possible, they could for example be screwed or glued.
- a clamping device is provided which secures the weather protection strip on the door leaf frame.
- This clamping device is preferably mounted on a web which is formed on the lower door leaf frame spar.
- the clamping device preferably has at least one clip.
- the clip is made of metal, for example. It is preferably provided with barb elements which resist loosening of the clip, for example from the above-mentioned web.
- the clamp is designed with a clamping region and two differently configured fixing sections for fixing the weather protection strip.
- the clamping region may for example be formed substantially U-shaped.
- the different design of Fixierabitese serve to adapt to different door leaf fillings. For example, there are door panels with vertical or sloping beads. Such door panels leave enough space, leaving the weather strip farther away from its edge is broadly detectable.
- the second fixation section could be designed to be pointed for adaptation, so that even a bent edge can be pierced in order to detect the weather protection strip underneath.
- the free end of the second section is located closer to the clamping area than the free end of the first section, which is preferably provided with a substantially flat edge area, around the weather strip in door panels with vertical or oblique beads broader to capture.
- the weather protection strip itself preferably has at its edge provided for attachment to a fixation improving training. This is formed for example by a bead, which can be engaged behind by one of the two sections. If the two sections are arranged differently far from the clamping area in order to adapt to different space conditions with different door panels, two beads or other detection formations (nubs, grooves,...) Are preferably provided which can each be detected and / or engaged behind by a corresponding section ,
- the side door is preferably used as part of a garage closure system comprising the side door and a garage door designed to be the same as the side door.
- FIG. 1 and 2 are each plan views of each intended for use as a second access next to a garage door outer doors, which are referred to as side doors 1, hereinafter.
- the side doors 1 each have a frame in the form of a frame 2 and a hinged therein hinged door leaf 4.
- the frame 2 is anchored by means of fastening anchor 5 to a masonry.
- the fastening anchors 5 and their assembly are more precisely in the DE 199 392 05 A1 described, to which reference is made in full. In this document, the various mounting options for anchoring the frame 2 are described.
- Fig. 9 shows a door leaf frame 6 formed from metal profiles and a door panel 7 fixed therein.
- the door panel 7 is tabular and formed of sheet metal, wood or the like.
- the side door 1 is formed in most embodiments with respect to their horizontal center line M symmetrical, except for the not interesting here lock and handle fitting.
- the door leaf 4 is hinged with its hinges on the right right vertical frame spar 8.
- the door leaf 4 is rotated about its central normal to the door leaf level by 180 ° and posted left on the left vertical frame rail 9 of the frame 2.
- the frame also has an upper horizontal frame spar 10 and a lower horizontal frame spar.
- the door leaf frame 6 is formed of two vertical door leaf frame spars 12 and 13 and two horizontal door leaf frame spars 14 and 15.
- the Fig. 3 - 6 show the different possible types of stop for the side doors 1.
- the side doors 1, as in the Fig. 1 and 2 Shown, factory pre-assembled for internal stop (ie opening inwards) and can be retrofitted on site for external stop.
- the corresponding installation variants are in the Fig. 3 - 6 shown.
- the like in Fig. 1 by the manufacturer pre-assembled side door 1 can be on site as in the 3 and 4 shown, with inner stop ( Fig. 4 ) or converted with external stop ( Fig. 3 ) to the garage 16.
- the FIGS. 5 and 6 show the installation variants for the side door 1 left hinged door leaf 4, as in Fig. 2 shown.
- Fig. 7 shows the interior view of the masonry mounted side door 1 with right stop according to the FIGS. 1 and 4 from inside the garage.
- Fig. 8 shows the vertical frame spar 8 in cross section, representative of all frame beams 8 - 11.
- the frame beams 8 - 11 are formed by metal profiles, which have a substantially Z-shaped basic shape. These metal profiles each have a reaching into the reveal 17 of the door opening to be closed substantially perpendicular to the door plane extending in the direction of the door middle section 18, a bordering to the door opening to be closed wall 19 substantially parallel to the door plane extending stop portion 20 and also extending substantially parallel to the door plane stop profile area 21.
- the stop profile region 21 carries in a profile chamber a door seal 22, against which the door leaf frame spars 12- 15 abut with their plane parallel to the door leaf end face in the door closing state.
- the door leaf frame spars 12-15 are essentially formed by metal tube profiles.
- the tube profiles have a substantially rectangular base cross-section and a flange or web 23 extending away from the door leaf center.
- the door panel 7 is fixed, for example by welding.
- the peripheral side of the door leaf frame spars 15, the metal tube profile forming the door leaf frame spars 12-15 has, as is generally known, an elevation 24 extending in the circumferential direction.
- the middle profile section 18 of the lower frame spar 11 has approximately centrally along the lower horizontal frame spar 11 extending groove 25 or the like material weakening 25, which serves as a predetermined breaking line for removing the stop profile region 21.
- the groove 25 is located on the masonry or the floor zuitchden outer peripheral side of the frame 2 and is therefore not visible when mounted frame.
- the side door 1 can be, like this Fig. 9 show with lower stop profile area 21. But if the side door 1 opens inwards and if its outside is exposed to precipitation, this precipitate can run down the door panel 7 and enter the inside of the garage if the sealing strip 22 is not completely sealed. To prevent this is how out Fig. 10 can be seen, provided in the lower region of the door leaf 4 a weather strip 40.
- the weather strip 40 receives precipitation from the door panel 7 and directs it to the outside.
- the weather protection strip 40 covers the lower door gap 45.
- the lower door area marked "X" of Fig. 10 is in the Fig. 11 - 13 showing various embodiments of this door area X, shown in section.
- weather strip 40 is mounted in the embodiments shown the Stop profile region 21 of the lower frame spar 11 away.
- the Fig. 11-13 show three different embodiments, as is practicable.
- Fig. 11 shows an embodiment in which the lower frame spar 11 is completely removed
- Fig. 12 shows an embodiment in which only the stop profile region 21 has been broken off along the groove 25 or otherwise removed
- at Figure 13 is the remaining by removing the stop profile portion 21 remaining of the lower frame spar 11 is still provided with a door sill sealing strip 41, which forms a door sill and thus a barrier against entry of rain water into the garage interior.
- the weather strip 40 is in profile L-shaped, wherein the two L-profile legs 42 and 43 form an obtuse angle to each other.
- a first profile leg 42 extends, the lower horizontal Matrobenholm 15 overlapping to the area of the bottom 44 and thus also covers the lower door gap 45 completely or to the (largest) part.
- the clamping device 46 is formed here by a plurality of brackets 47.
- the brackets 47 have a U-shaped clamping region 48, with which they are seated clamped on the web 23 of the lower door leaf frame spar 15.
- the legs of the clip 47 which are designed differently, to form a first fixing portion 49 and a second fixing portion 50 formed differently to the first fixing portion 49.
- the free end of the first fixing portion 49 is formed by a relative to the U-leg of the clamping portion 48 obliquely angled plate 51.
- the clamping region 48 facing corners of the plate 51 are also mitabgewinkelt so that they extend inwardly and barb elements form, which are supported against the web 23 and prevent disengagement of the bracket 47.
- the free end of the plate 51 terminates in an at least partially forming a straight line edge, which detects the profile leg 43 fixing.
- the second fixing section 50 has lateral support regions 52, which are aligned with the corresponding U-legs of the clamping region 48 and are supported against the web 23.
- a middle region is formed as a protruding elevation 53, which ends in a sharp point 54.
- the second profile leg 43 has at its intended end for fixing two two longitudinally to the weather strip 40 extending beads 55 and 56, which form a depression between them.
- the two beads 55, 56 serve to be engaged behind by the fixing portions 49 and 50 of the bracket 47, as will be described later.
- Fig. 14 shows the inwardly open side door 1 in the embodiment according to Fig. 13 with the door sill formed by the sealing profile 41 and the weather protection strip 40.
- FIGS. 15 and 16 The following is based on the FIGS. 15 and 16 described how the in Fig. 1 and 2 illustrated side door 1 for the arrangement according to Fig. 11 can be prepared without lower frame spar.
- FIG. 11 The arrangement shown in section is in Fig. 15 shown again in perspective.
- the frame members 11 - 15 of the frame 2 are connected to each other only selectively, here by welds 65. These punctual fasteners are solved here by carefully drilling the welds 65, whereupon the lower frame member 11 can be completely removed.
- a fastening tab 66 At the two vertical frame beams 8 and 9 remains a fastening tab 66, to which previously the lower horizontal frame spar was selectively attached. This fastening tab 66 is anchored in the bottom 44, for example, concreted.
- Fig. 17 the lower right corner of the side door 1 is shown with partially concreted lower horizontal frame spar 11, from which the stop profile region 21 has been removed.
- Fig. 18 shows, in this case one end of a fastening plate used for the welded connection of the vertical and horizontal frame members 8, 9 and 11 is first bent, but leave the welding points 65.
- the bending is in Fig. 18 marked with 1 in a circle.
- the stop profile regions 21 of the vertical frame members 8, 9 - illustrated is the frame spar 8 - and the lower one horizontal frame spar 11 connecting weld solved by careful boring.
- Fig. 19 illustrates the abutment profile region 21 of the lower frame member 11 broken by repeated bending by means of a suitable tool 67 along the predetermined breaking line formed by the groove 25 and removed, as by 3 in the circle at Fig. 18 is indicated.
- the weather strip 40 and the door sill sealing profile are, as in Fig. 20 shown as a unit in the form of a sealing profile 68. At the construction site, this sealing profile 68 is separated into the sealing profile 41 and the weather protection strip 40. This illustrates that these two parts 41, 40 are made of the same material.
- the sealing profile 41 is, as in Fig. 21 shown, brought with the aid of a suitable tool 69 to the correct length and then to the demolition edge 70 formed by the breaking off of the stop profile region 21 (see FIG Fig. 18 ), as in Fig. 22 is shown.
- the sealing profile 41 has a U-shaped clamping region 71 and a flange 72.
- the arrangement shown is then introduced the screed or the like forming the bottom and thereby the sealing profile 41 in the ground 44 held firmly anchored to the flange 72.
- the weather strip 40 is, as in the FIGS. 24 and 25 shown cut by means of a tool 73 to the appropriate length.
- Fig. 26 Four different types of door panels 7 with vertical or oblique beads 74 are shown. These door panels 7 are each secured with their beads 74 on the webs 23 of the door leaf frame 6. The lying between the beads 74 wider area of the door panel 7 is thus spaced from the web 23. Between the horizontal door leaf frame beams 14 and 15 and the edges facing the door panel, a gap 75 is left. In this gap 75 now serving for fixing profile leg 43 of the weather strip 40 is introduced.
- Fig. 28 -29a How out Fig. 28 -29a can be seen, the clips 47 are then placed on the web 23, that the plate 51 of the first fixing portion 49 engages in a space formed between two beads 74 and one of the two beads 55, 56 engages behind the profile leg 43 fixing.
- Fig. 30 four other types of door panels 7 are shown. These are so-called box fillings which are not provided with beads. Since here the stabilization is missing by beads, such box fills usually U-shaped bent edges. With these edges, the box fills are attached to the webs 23.
- Fig. 31 shows, at least at the lower edge of the door panel 4 between the door panel 7 and the lower horizontal Matwillenholm 11 of the gap 75 is formed, in which the serving for the attachment profile leg 43 of the weather strip 40 is inserted.
- the brackets 47 are attached to the web 23 here such that the second fixing portion 50 is located with the tip 54 on the side of the door panel 7 and the first fixing portion 49 on the door panel 7 opposite side of the web 23.
- brackets 47 are beaten in this arrangement, for example by means of a hammer on the web 23, pierces the sharp tip 54, the bent edge of the door panel 7 and detects the underlying profile leg 43 of the weather strip 40.
- the tip 54 is closer to the web 23rd arranged as the free edge of the plate 51. In this way, the clip 47 is also at the cramped by the box fills space enough space.

Description
The invention relates to an outer door for use as access to a garage according to the preamble of
Such doors are for example as a garage door to the same side doors on the market. In the market located side doors to garage doors have a frame as a frame for anchoring the side door in a wall opening. Such frames are a closed frame made of metal profiles, which have a central portion engaging in the reveal opening, an outer portion engaging with the wall opening boundary, and an inner portion serving as a stop for the door. Since such side doors should be designed to be identical to a garage door, the door leaf of such side doors is usually similar to a garage door constructed. For example, so-called Berry® gates are on the market, the rigid door leaves pivot in the whole from a substantially vertical closed position in a substantially horizontal opening position. The door leaf of such Berry® doors consists of a door leaf frame made of metal profiles and a filling inserted therein. The builder can choose the filling from an assortment himself. The same structure then have corresponding side doors to such Berry® gates. The door leaves are constructed of a door leaf frame with therein or mounted door panel. The door panel usually has a smaller thickness than the door leaf frame, so that the outer dimensions of the door are essentially determined by the door leaf frame. In this way, the same frame and the same frames can be used for all different door leaf fillings.
As mentioned above, have the Zargenholme stop profile areas with sealing strips against which the door leaf strikes in the door closing state. The stop takes place at the running parallel to the door leaf sides of the door leaf frame.
The object of the invention is to provide an outer door of the type mentioned, which is easy to use as an inwardly pivoting outer door, in which the precipitate is reliably dissipated and in which a flexible design of the door panel is possible.
This object is achieved by an outer door with the features of the appended
With the measure according to the invention, when the outer door is mounted in such a manner that the door leaf opens inwards into the garage, precipitation runs down the door leaf filling into the interior of the garage. At the same time, the use of different door panels is made possible.
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
The invention is in principle also applicable to a designed as a wicket door in a garage door leaf outer door. In this case, the frame would be part of the garage door leaf. Preferably, however, the outer door according to the invention is designed as a side door for use next to a garage door, wherein the frame is then formed as a frame for anchoring the outer door in the wall opening.
To dissipate precipitation, the weather strip is attached to the lower horizontal Torblattrahmenholm. From this it extends according to a preferred embodiment of the invention with the door closed on the weather-exposed side beyond a doorstep. The precipitation is thus on the weather-exposed side - ie usually the outside - passed beyond the threshold. In this case, the weather or precipitation protection strip - for example, in a flexible design - be formed with its lower edge lower than the upper edge of the door sill. But it is also sufficient if the weather strip above the threshold, but ends up offset from this outward. Precipitation then flows from the weather strip into the area outside the threshold and can no longer flow into the interior of the garage due to the upwardly protruding door threshold. The threshold can be formed, for example, by the lower horizontal frame rail and / or by a lower sealing strip provided thereon. Such a lower sealing strip is fastened, for example, on the lower frame spar and protrudes from it to form the threshold above. In a preferred embodiment, a sealing strip for forming the door threshold is attached to the outer edge of the lower frame spar.
The door leaf frame is further formed on its peripheral sides, but at least on its lower side at the bottom, with an extending in the circumferential direction elevation. The door leaf sill forming sealing strip is particularly effective against the ingress of moisture, when this sealing strip is arranged in the vicinity of such a survey in the door closing state parallel to this. For example, the lower sealing strip could rest against the survey, but it is sufficient, as to such outer doors for garages usually no major demands on tightness or heat protection are made even when through the door sill of the lower door gap z. B. only narrowed but not interrupted.
The door according to the invention and / or its door leaf is symmetrical in a preferred embodiment with respect to the horizontal center line. This has the advantage that the door leaf is optionally usable with an inner or outer stop or alternatively also on the left or right of the frame frame can be stopped. In a preferred embodiment, the outer door according to the invention can be set up and / or mounted optionally for operation with the door leaf pivoting inwards or outwards.
In such an embodiment, the lower frame spar or both horizontal frame members of the frame is arranged completely and / or partially removable on the frame. For this purpose, a predetermined breaking point for breaking off the stop profile area is provided in a further preferred embodiment. The remainder of the frame spar continues to stabilize the frame. The above-mentioned sealing strip can then on the outside directionally directed edge of the remaining part of the lower frame Holmes are plugged.
The lower frame spar is preferably selectively attached to the frame, for example, welded. By removing the punctiform attachment - for example, drilling the welds - the lower frame spar can then be easily removed from the frame to remove the lower stop profile area, if in the floor area on site no lower frame rail desired, for example, no door sill is desired.
The weather strip is preferably in cross-section L-shaped. The angle between the L-profile webs is preferably blunt. Thus, the weather strip with one of the L-profile legs can be attached to the lower door leaf frame spar, the other L-profile legs obliquely downwards and outwards to divert the precipitate from the door leaf.
To secure the weather strip a (narrow) gap is left in the door leaf between the door leaf frame and the lower edge of the door panel, which is penetrated by the weather protection strip, for example by the above-mentioned L-profile legs in L-profile design. For attaching the weather strip different techniques are possible, they could for example be screwed or glued. For a simple permanent attachment but preferably a clamping device is provided which secures the weather protection strip on the door leaf frame. This clamping device is preferably mounted on a web which is formed on the lower door leaf frame spar. For this purpose, a web abstrebender anyway on each Türblattrahmenholm the door leaf center, which serves for the attachment of the door leaf filling can be used. The clamping device preferably has at least one clip. The clip is made of metal, for example. It is preferably provided with barb elements which resist loosening of the clip, for example from the above-mentioned web.
It is particularly preferred if the clamp is designed with a clamping region and two differently configured fixing sections for fixing the weather protection strip. The clamping region may for example be formed substantially U-shaped. The different design of Fixierabschnitte serve to adapt to different door leaf fillings. For example, there are door panels with vertical or sloping beads. Such door panels leave enough space, leaving the weather strip farther away from its edge is broadly detectable. On the other hand, there are cassette-like door panels without beads. To stabilize such cartridge fillings they are often bent U-shaped at the edge. The second fixation section could be designed to be pointed for adaptation, so that even a bent edge can be pierced in order to detect the weather protection strip underneath. According to the smaller space available in such cassette fillings, the free end of the second section is located closer to the clamping area than the free end of the first section, which is preferably provided with a substantially flat edge area, around the weather strip in door panels with vertical or oblique beads broader to capture.
The weather protection strip itself preferably has at its edge provided for attachment to a fixation improving training. This is formed for example by a bead, which can be engaged behind by one of the two sections. If the two sections are arranged differently far from the clamping area in order to adapt to different space conditions with different door panels, two beads or other detection formations (nubs, grooves,...) Are preferably provided which can each be detected and / or engaged behind by a corresponding section ,
The side door is preferably used as part of a garage closure system comprising the side door and a garage door designed to be the same as the side door.
