Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour influer de manière active sur le bruit d'admission d'un moteur à combustion interne. Le dispositif pour mettre en oeuvre ledit procédé comprend un organe de régulation (7) qui enregistre le bruit réel (I) au moyen d'un microphone (16) et le compare à un signal de bruit prescrit dépendant du régime (D). D'autres paramètres P, tels que la position du papillon (12), peuvent également être pris en compte. La comparaison du bruit prescrit et du bruit réel permet de produire un signal de référence qui influe sur un signal de régulation Ages, ce dernier étant également fonction du régime du moteur à combustion interne. Ce signal de régulation Ages est acheminé à un haut-parleur (14) qui produit un bruit de correction (20). La superposition de ce dernier au bruit d'admission (21) a pour effet de produire le bruit réel (22), qui doit correspondre le plus possible au bruit prescrit. Il est ainsi possible non seulement de réduire le bruit d'admission mais aussi d'adapter ce dernier à un son prescrit souhaité. De même, il est possible de concevoir librement le bruit d'admission dans le cadre de la puissance du haut-parleur, ce qui permet de donner un retour d'information acoustique au conducteur du véhicule, par ex. dans des états de fonctionnement déterminés.
