Aufklappen der gegenüberliegenden Seite haben beispielsweise und bevorzugt der obere und untere Auflagebolzen eine stumpfe Spitze, welche in eine wesentlich weniger tiefe, muldenartige Bohrung im Schlitten greift, so dass mit einer definierten Kraft diese Auflagebolzen aus ihrem Sitz im Schlitten bzw. Gleitelement aus- und eingerastet werden können.
Für das planparallele Abstellen der Klappe ist vorzugsweise mindestens eine elektronisch steuerbare Öffnungseinrichtung im Seitenprofil des Rahmens eingesetzt, vorzugsweise zwei, das heisst je eine im linken und rechten, parallel zur Dreh- und Öffnungskante verlaufendem Rahmenstück. Die Öffnungseinrichtung hat eine Schubstange mit mindestens einem Stift, welcher in eine schräg verlaufende Führungsnut eines auf der Klappe montierten Beschlages greift. Für eine vereinfachte Konstruktion wird vorzugsweise der Beschlag für die Auflager entsprechend angepasst. Zusätzliche, separate Beschläge mit je einer Führungsnut für entsprechende Stifte können bei grösseren Fenstern benötigt werden. Die rechtwinklig von der Mantelfläche des Rahmens abstehenden Stifte werden parallel zum Rahmenverlauf verschoben. Da die Führungsnut des an der Klappe bzw. Fensterflügels montierten Beschlages bezüglich der Kanten eine Steigung aufweist, wird durch das Verschieben des Stiftes die Klappe vom Rahmen abgehoben oder in umgekehrter Richtung wieder zurückgezogen. Geschieht dies gleichzeitig bei allen Beschlägen, so wird die Klappe bezüglich des Rahmens planparallel abgestellt. Zum Verschieben der Stifte bzw. der Schubstangen dienen Elektromotoren, die je in einem, komplett im Rahmen eingebauten Antriebsgehäuse montiert sind. Dazu bieten übliche Kunststoff- oder Aluminiumprofile genügend Hohlraum, oder es müssen bei massiven Rahmen aus Holz oder anderen Werkstoffen entsprechende Vertiefungen ausgeschnitten werden. Der Elektromotor treibt beispielsweise eine Gewindestange an, die einen mit einer entsprechenden Gewindebohrung ausgestatteten und mit der Schubstange lösbar verbundenen Gleiter entlang der Gewindestange verschiebt. Bei entsprechender Wahl der Schubstange kann ein Elektromotor sämtliche Stifte in den Führungsnuten der Beschläge auf einer Rahmen- bzw. Klappenseite betätigen. Denkbar wäre auch, dass ein einziger Elektromotor die Schubstangen der linken und rechten Seitenkanten verschiebt, was jedoch einen relativ komplizierten Übertragungsmechanismus von einer auf die andere Rahmenseite erfordern würde.
