Abstract

The profiled leaf comprises a polygonal cross section module (2) having front and rear walls (3,4) connected by two edges (5). Each module has a front wall end (3a) projecting from the upper part of the adjacent edge so that the articulation connection (7) does not overshoot the front wall end in the closed position. This upper part has a concave shape tangentially joining the front wall end whose other end (3b) is ended by a shoulder (8). The edge adjacent to this end has a curved projecting surface so that in the closed position the front wall end is in contact with the shoulder of the adjacent leaf and is supported on a part of the curved projecting surface of the adjacent module.

Description

The invention relates to a curtain-closing blade and a curtain corresponding closure.

Such a curtain can be used for example for closures of furniture.

In particular, the blades according to the invention make it possible to facilitate positioning the blades relative to each other during closure curtain while ensuring a better continuity of the apparent surface of the closed curtain and providing increased protection for flexible links between blades, especially when the curtain follows a curve.

Already known curtain blades offering good protection of the links soft above.

This is the case, for example, of patents FR 2 716 696 and 2 687 724 of the applicant who describe curtains in which the edges of two blades adjacent ones comprise a rib and a groove ensuring the maintenance in relative position of the blades and preventing the insertion between two blades of a tool likely to cut the connection between the blades.

However, a game appears quickly between the rib and the groove as soon as the blades move slightly apart, for example when the curtain follows a curve.

Document FR-2 737 751 describes a profiled blade comprising articulation means of two consecutive blades. However these means are accessible from outside the curtain, particularly in areas where the blades follow a curved path.

The front wall of this blade includes protruding ends to protect the means of articulation by rendering them inaccessible from outside the lamé. However, the articulation means are located at the level of the rear wall of the blade, which causes friction of these means against curtain guide rails and premature wear of these means.

The blade according to the invention overcomes these disadvantages.

For this purpose, a first object of the invention is a profiled blade for closing at curtain according to claim 1, comprising at least one polygonal cross-section module, said module having two walls respectively front and rear, connected by two edges with which are associated connecting means and articulation.

The connection and articulation means of two consecutive blades can cooperate so that the two blades can be in a position closed where only the front wall is visible when the curtain is closed, and a open position where the consecutive blades are spaced from each other.

The blade according to the invention is characterized in that each module presents an end of said front wall protruding from the upper part of the edge adjacent, so that the flexible part of the connection and articulation means not exceed said end of the front wall in the closed position, the part upper edge of said edge having a concave shape tangentially joining the end of the front wall, the concavity of the latter being directed towards the connecting and articulation means, the other end of said front wall terminating in a shoulder substantially perpendicular to the front wall of dimension substantially equal to the end of the adjacent module, the edge adjacent the end having a curved surface projecting from said surface, and the lower part of the edge joining the rear wall along a surface of concavity directed towards the adjacent module, so that in the closed position, the end of the front wall of a blade is in contact with the shoulder of the adjacent blade and bears on a portion of the projecting curved surface of said adjacent module.

Thus in the closed position or slightly away from the blades, the flexible portion of means of articulation is well protected from external aggressions.

In addition, in the closed position, no play is visible between the blades and / or modules and the front surfaces of the blades and / or modules are continuous.

The fact that part of the front surface of a blade is supported on the edge of an adjacent blade also reinforces the rigidity of the blades in position closed.

In a variant, in the closed position, the upper parts facing two blade modules are substantially parallel, the end of the part superior of the first module being close to the end of the upper part next to the second module so that the connection means and articulation are protected.

The linking and articulation means may comprise two ends rigid non-noble material interconnected by a flexible hinge coextruded with the blade, at least one rigid end forming part of the edge, the other end having a male attachment means or part of the edge of another blade module.

A portion of the edge of a module may have a female fastening means adapted to receive a male hooking means.

In another embodiment, the blade comprises two modules connected by a flexible hinge, the edge of the first module being opposite the hinge flexible and having a female hooking means, the edge of the second module being opposed to the flexible hinge and having a means male hanging.

In a variant, the blade comprises at least three modules substantially identical ones connected by flexible hinges, the edge of a terminal module being opposed to a flexible hinge and comprising a female hooking means, the edge of the other terminal module being opposed to a flexible hinge and comprising a male coupling means, the central module (s) being connected to the terminal modules by flexible hinges.

Another object of the invention is a closing curtain characterized in that is made by assembling the blades described above, the blades being assembled together and after the others by cooperation of the male and female hooking means.

In one embodiment, the curtain comprises a terminal blade comprising a female coupling means adapted to cooperate directly with a means male hooking a blade.

A profiled blade 1 for a curtain closure according to the invention is now described with reference to Figures 1 and 2.

The profiled blade 1 comprises at least one module 2 polygonal cross section.

Said module 2 comprises two walls 3, 4 respectively front and rear, connected by two edges 5, 6.

Means 7 of connection and articulation are associated with the edges 5, 6.

In the embodiments shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, each blade comprises two modules 2 associated by connecting means 7 and hinge.

The means 7 for connecting and articulating two blades 1 and / or modules 2 consecutive devices can cooperate so that the two blades 1 can be find in a closed position where only the front wall 3 is visible when the curtain is closed, and an open position where the consecutive blades are apart from each other.

The closed position corresponds for example to FIGS. 2 and 3, and the position open to Figures 4 and 5 when the blades 1 follow a curve.

La paroi frontale 3 présente deux extrémités opposées 3a et 3b visibles sur la figure 1.The front wall 3 has two opposite ends 3a and 3b visible on the figure 1.

Une première extrémité 3a de ladite paroi frontale 3 saille de la partie supérieure 6a du bord adjacent 6 à ladite extrémité 3a.A first end 3a of said front wall 3 protrudes from the upper part 6a of the adjacent edge 6 at said end 3a.

The protruding length of the end 3a is such that the flexible part of the means 7 of connection and articulation do not exceed said end 3a of the wall front in the closed position of the blades 1, as shown in Figures 1 to 3.

The upper part 6a of said edge 6 has a concave shape joining tangentially the end 3a of the front wall 3. The concavity of this part 6a is directed towards the means 7 for connecting and articulating said module 2.

L'autre extrémité 3b de ladite paroi frontale 3 se termine par un épaulement 8 sensiblement perpendiculaire à la paroi frontale 3 (figures 1 à 3).The other end 3b of said front wall 3 ends with a shoulder 8 substantially perpendicular to the front wall 3 (Figures 1 to 3).

This shoulder 8 is of dimension substantially equal to the end 3a of a adjacent module 2.

La partie inférieure 5b du bord 5 rejoigne la paroi arrière 4 suivant une surface de concavité dirigée vers le module adjacent 2.The edge 5 adjacent to the end 3b has a curved surface 5a protruding of said shoulder 8 and close to the latter. The lower part 5b of the edge 5 joins the rear wall 4 along a concavity surface directed towards the adjacent module 2.

Thus, in the closed position, the end 3a of the front wall 3 and the part upper 6b of the edge 6 of a first module 2 rest partially on the curved surface protruding 5a of the edge 5 and the end 3a is in contact with the shoulder 8 of a second module 2 adjacent to the first module.

This configuration reinforces the strength of the blades assembled together and ensures the continuity of the frontal surfaces of the adjacent blades improving thus the finish of the whole.

The projecting portions 6a and 5a of the edges also facilitate the correct position modules 2 relative to each other during their passage between closed and open positions.

The upper part 5a of the edge 5 of a module 2 can indeed serve as a guide for the end 3a of the adjacent module 2 when the latter is approaching or away from the first module following a curve.

In the closed position, the upper parts 5a, 6a of the edges facing two blade modules are substantially parallel, the end of the part 5a opposite the shoulder 8 being close to the end of the upper part 6a so that the connection and articulation means 7 are protected.

It is thus difficult or impossible to pass a sharp blade between two adjacent curtain blades 1 and cut the connecting means and articulation 7.

In an embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the means of link and articulation 7 are fixed on the lower parts 5b, 6b of the edges 5, 6, near the upper parts 5a, 6a of said edges.

In another embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the means of link and articulation 7 are fixed on the lower parts 5b, 6b of the edges 5, 6 in the lower half of the blades 1.

The linking and articulation means 7 are then more difficult to reach from outside. They are indeed protected by the upper parts 5a, 6a, and more precisely by the upper part 5a when the curtain follows a curve (Figures 6 and 7).

The connecting and articulation means 7 comprise two rigid ends 9a, 9b non-noble material interconnected by a flexible hinge 10 coextruded with the blade 1, as shown in Figure 1.

At least one rigid end 9a of said means 7 is part of the part bottom of an edge 5b, 6b.

The other end 9b has a male attachment means 11 such as on the 1 or part of the edge 5b, 6b of another module 2 blade such as by example in Figure 2.

La partie inférieure 5b du bord 5 d'un module présente un moyen d'accrochage femelle 12 apte à recevoir un moyen d'accrochage mâle 11 du module adjacent (figures 2 et 3).The lower part 5b of the edge 5 of a module has a hooking means female 12 adapted to receive a male coupling means 11 of the adjacent module (Figures 2 and 3).

In fact on the same module 2, the edge having the attachment means female 12 is opposite the edge having a male attachment means 11 or a simple connection by flexible hinge 10.

Thus, in the case where a blade 1 is formed of a single module 2 (FIG. first edge, for example the edge 5, has a female fastening means 12, while the opposite edge 6 has a male fastening means 11 connected at the edge by a flexible hinge 10.

Le second bord 6 du second module porte alors un moyen d'accrochage mâle 11 relié au bord par une charnière souple 10.In the case where a blade 1 is formed of two modules 2 (FIG. 2), a first edge 5 of the first module has a female coupling means 12. The second edge 6 of this first module is connected to the first edge 5 of the second module by a flexible hinge 10 secured to two rigid ends 9a, 9b. The second edge 6 of the second module then carries a male fastening means 11 connected to the edge by a flexible hinge 10.

It goes without saying that one could reverse the position of the male fastening means and female on the edges of the modules 2.

Ce logement présente une ouverture vers l'extérieur permettant l'insertion du jonc 11.In the embodiments shown in the figures, the means male fastening 11 is a rod made of rigid material. The hooking means female 12 has a housing made in one piece with the part lower edge 5 of complementary shape with the rod of rigid material. This housing has an opening to the outside allowing the insertion of the ring 11.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the hooking means female 12 is formed by the lower and upper parts of an edge.

Thus, the upper part 5a of a module forms the upper part of the means hooking said module, the lower part of said means female coupling being formed by a 5c concavity surface directed towards inside the female attachment means 12, said surface 5c salient substantially perpendicular to the lower edge 5b of the module.

The housing formed by the surfaces 5a and 5c can thus accommodate a means male hooking 11.

It is also possible to provide a projecting surface 5d of the upper part 5a of the edge 5 near the bottom 5b. This surface 5d extending substantially in a direction parallel to the walls 3, 4 so as to increase the protection of the flexible hinge 10 (Figure 2).

The embodiment described above can also be used for blades having a single module 2.

Le module central est relié aux modules terminaux par des charnières souples 10.In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, each blade 1 comprises three substantially identical modules 2 connected by flexible hinges 10. The edge 5b of a terminal module opposite its flexible hinge 10 has a female coupling means 12, the edge 6b of the other terminal module being opposite its flexible hinge 10 and comprising a male attachment means 11. The central module is connected to the terminal modules by hinges flexible 10.

In other embodiments, not shown, each blade comprises at least one minus three modules 2 and includes one or more central modules.

The modules 2 used for this type of blade 1 may be as described previously and shown in Figures 1 to 3.

A blade may comprise three modules 2, including at least one of the modules 2 has a different shape from the other two.

In a variant, a blade comprises three modules 2, at least one of which modules 2 as described above.

In the variant shown in FIG. 4, the module 2 corresponding to the modules described and represented in FIGS. 1 to 3 is the central module: the edges upper 5a, 6a of the terminal module comprising a male coupling means 11 being substantially identical and symmetrical and having two ends 3a, 3b of said front wall 3 protruding from the upper portion 5a, 6a of their adjacent edges 5, 6 so that the means 7 of connection and articulation do not do not exceed said ends 3a, 3b of the front wall in the closed position.

The upper part 5a, 6a of each edge 5, 6 has a concave shape tangentially joining the end 3a, 3b of the front wall, the concavity the latter being directed towards the connecting means 7.

In this variant, the upper edge 5a of the terminal module comprising a female coupling means 12 is substantially perpendicular to the wall front 3 of said module, the upper edge 5a having a projecting surface intended to protect the hinge.

The other end of said front wall 3 of said terminal module ends then by a shoulder 8 substantially perpendicular to the front wall of dimension substantially equal to the end of the adjacent module and presenting a projecting curved surface 6a of said shoulder 8, and the lower portion 6b of edge joining the rear wall 4 according to a concavity surface directed towards the adjacent module, so that in the closed position, the end 3b of the wall front of a blade is in contact with the shoulder 8 of the adjacent blade and is supported on a portion of the projecting curved surface 5a of said module adjacent.

It goes without saying that the positions of the male and female hooking means and the corresponding edges of the modules can be reversed.

On peut par exemple réaliser des lames à cinq modules 2.The different modules described in the previous description can be used for blades with one, two, three modules 2 or more. We can example to make blades with five modules 2.

A blade 1 can be made by coextrusion of two plastics different, the visible front wall 3 and the upper parts 5a, 6a of the edges 5, 6 adjacent to said front wall being of a specific virgin material, the rear wall 4 and the lower parts 5b, 6b of the edges 5, 6 adjacent to the said rear wall being standard material or second choice.

So that a blade 1 having one, two, three or more modules is made in one step by coextrusion of three different materials: rigid plastics noble and not noble and the flexible plastic material forming the flexible hinges.

Another object of the invention is a closure curtain made by assembling blades 1 described above, the blades 1 being assembled one to the other and as a result of others by cooperation of male hooking means 11 and female 12.

In one embodiment, the curtain has a terminal blade 13 comprising a female coupling means 14 able to cooperate directly with a male attachment means 11 of a blade 1, as shown in FIG. 2 and 3.

On pourrait également envisager de remplacer le moyen d'accrochage femelle 14 de la lame 13 par un moyen d'accrochage mâle apte à coopérer avec des moyens d'accrochage femelle 12 des lames 1.We could also consider replacing the female hooking means 14 of the blade 13 by a male coupling means adapted to cooperate with female coupling means 12 of the blades 1.

In a similar manner to a blade 1, the edge 15 of the terminal blade 13 in the vicinity of the edge 6 of the adjacent blade has a surface 16 projecting towards the part upper 6a of said edge 6.

Dans le mode de réalisation représenté sur les figures 2 à 4, la surface 16 est sensiblement parallèle à la partie supérieure 6a du bord de la lame voisine de sorte à protéger la charnière souple 10 sur laquelle est fixé le moyen d'accrochage mâle 11 de la lame 2.In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the surface 16 is substantially parallel to the upper portion 6a of the edge of the blade adjacent to so as to protect the flexible hinge 10 on which is fixed the means male hooking 11 of the blade 2.

Dans un autre mode de réalisation représenté figure 5, la surface 16 est sensiblement parallèle à la paroi frontale 17 de la lame 13.In another embodiment shown in FIG. 5, the surface 16 is substantially parallel to the front wall 17 of the blade 13.

This surface 16 can also contribute to the correct placement of the blade 1 relative to the terminal blade 13 when closing the curtain. She also ensures the protection of the connection and articulation means 7 of the module 2 adjacent, especially when the curtain follows a curve.

The front wall 17 of the terminal blade 13 extends substantially in the same direction direction that the front wall 3 of the adjacent blade 1 and whose end is in contact with the end 3a of the front wall of said blade when the blades 1, 13 are in the closed position, so that no day is visible between the blade terminal 13 and the adjacent blade 1.

The end plate 13 may be an open profile produced by folding a sheet metallic.

This terminal blade 13 can also be made by stamping or all another equivalent method. It could also be a closed profile.

Any other rigid and resistant material suitable for being shaped could be used for the realization of this terminal blade.

Dans un autre mode de réalisation représenté figure 4, la lame terminale 13 comprend un renfort 18 matière rigide telle qu'une tôle métallique, recouvert d'un habillage 19.In another embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the terminal blade 13 comprises a reinforcement 18 rigid material such as a metal sheet, covered a dressing 19.

Ce renfort 18 peut toutefois être en tout autre matériau suffisamment rigide et apte à être recouvert d'un habillage 19.This reinforcement 18 may, however, be in any other sufficiently rigid material and apt to be covered with a covering 19.

Dans le mode de réalisation représenté, le renfort 18 est solidaire de l'habillage 19 sur toute surface interne de ce dernier excepté au niveau du moyen d'accrochage 14 et de la surface saillante 16 qui font partie de l'habillage 19.In the embodiment shown, the reinforcement 18 is integral with the casing 19 on any internal surface of the latter except at the level of the medium hooking 14 and the projecting surface 16 which form part of the covering 19.

The face 20 of the blade 13, substantially parallel to the front wall 17, can be consisting only of the reinforcement 18, without covering 19.

This covering 19 makes it possible to improve the visual appearance of the terminal blade 13 without to weaken the resistance.

The covering 19 may be made of plastic identical to the plastic material of the front wall 3 of the other blades of the curtain. It can also be in one another material with a pleasant and sufficiently resistant visual appearance.

A terminal blade 13 with or without reinforcement 18 can be used with all types of blades and modules previously described.

Une partie du rideau formé par l'assemblage des lames 1 selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention est représentée en situation de virage dans une glissière 21 sur la figure 6 et dans une glissière à 180° sur la figure 5.Part of the curtain formed by the assembly of the blades 1 according to a method of embodiment of the invention is shown in a cornering situation in a slide 21 in FIG. 6 and in a slide at 180 ° in FIG.

The configuration of the blades 1 makes it possible to preserve a good protection of the articulation when the blades are slightly apart from each other. The spacing between two blades or modules forming a kind of S up to the articulation, the upper parts 5a serving as a shield for protecting the connecting and articulation means.

It is clear from FIGS. 6 and 7 that the curved shape of the front faces 3 and rear 4 of a module can reduce friction against the slide 21 by reducing the contact surfaces.

These surfaces can, however, be substantially flat or present another form without departing from the scope of the invention.
