Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, following a transfer of the transfer strip (26) to at least one following machine section (14, 16), the dividing element (22) that is further removed from the relevant web edge (32) is moved to the opposite web edge (34) in order to divide off the remaining web (28).
  6. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, following a transfer of the transfer strip (26) to at least one following machine section (14, 16), the dividing element (20) placed closest to the relevant web edge (32) is moved to the relevant web edge (32) in order to divide off the edge strip (24).
  7. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, at least at the start of the transfer operation, the transfer strip (26) is produced in the region of the relevant web edge (32).
  8. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is initially produced at a very small distance (A1) from the relevant web edge (32), and the distance from the web edge (32) is subsequently enlarged by appropriately moving the dividing elements (20, 22) in the transverse direction.
  9. Process according to Claim 8, characterized in that the maximum distance (A2) of the transfer strip (26) from the relevant web edge (32) is smaller than its distance from the opposite web edge (34).
  10. Process according to Claim 8 or 9, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is positioned appropriately with respect to at least one following machine section (16) by moving the dividing elements (20, 22) in the transverse direction.
  11. Process according to Claim 10, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is positioned in such a way that it is ultimately gripped over its entire width in the relevant following machine section (16).
  12. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, in order to transfer it into at least one first machine section (14), the transfer strip (26) is initially produced at a relatively small distance (A1) from the relevant web edge (32), and then, for the transfer into at least one further machine section (16), the distance from the web edge (32) is enlarged by means of appropriately moving the dividing elements (20, 22) in the transverse direction.
  13. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, in order to set the respectively desired width of the transfer strip (26), the dividing elements (20, 22) are moved appropriately in the transverse direction.
  14. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the dividing element (20, 22) used is in each case a dividing element that operates without contact, in particular a water-jet or laser-beam dividing element, or a mechanical cutting element, in particular a knife or circular-knife element.
  15. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that dividing elements (20, 22) operating without contact are used, and the dividing operation is carried out on the last drying cylinder (44) of a papermaking machine (18).
  16. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22) used are cutting elements that operate mechanically, and the dividing operation is carried out in an unsupported draw of the material web (10).
  17. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, before the start of the dividing operation, the material web (10) is led into a pulper (30) or broke container.
  18. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that both dividing elements (20, 22) are applied within the material web (10) and the division is accordingly made within this material web (10).
  19. Process according to one of Claims 1 to 17, characterized in that at least one dividing element (20, 22) is already activated outside the material web.
  20. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the edge strip (24) and the remaining web (28) are led into a pulper (30) or broke container until full width running.
  21. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is transferred to the following machine section (14) by at least one auxiliary feed device, in particular a rope guide, transfer belt, air guide device and/or the like.
  22. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the edge strip (24) is produced with a width which lies in a range from about 50 mm to about 300 mm and preferably in a range from about 50 mm to about 250 mm.
  23. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is produced with a width which lies in a range from about 50 mm to about 400 mm and preferably in a range from about 50 mm to about 200 mm.
  24. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is produced in such a way that its edge (36) placed closest to the relevant web edge (32) is at a distance (B1, B2) from the framing edge (40) or from the rope guides which is greater than about 150 mm.
  25. Process according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is produced in such a way that its edge (36) placed closest to the relevant web edge (32) is at a distance (B1, B2) from the framing edge (40) or from the rope guides which lies in a range from about 150 mm to about 1000 mm.
  26. Apparatus for transferring a flexible material web (10), especially a paper or board web, from a preceding section (12) to at least one following section (14, 16) of a machine (18) used for producing and/or treating the material web (10), especially a papermaking machine, in which the material web (10) can be broken down by means of two dividing elements (20, 22) into an edge strip (24) extending in the web running direction (L), a transfer strip (26) adjacent thereto, which is transferred to at least one following machine section (14, 16), and the remaining web (28) adjoining this transfer strip (26), for implementing the method according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that means are provided to deflect the edge strip (24) laterally away from the transfer strip (26) and to tauten it at the same time.
  27. Apparatus according to Claim 26, characterized in that at least one air-jet producing device is provided to deflect the edge strip (24).
  28. Apparatus according to Claim 26 or 27, characterized in that a guide apparatus is provided to deflect the edge strip (24).
  29. Apparatus according to Claim 28, characterized in that the guide apparatus has a guide surface which, as viewed in the running direction (L) of the edge strip (24), changes from a flat plane at the start in the region at which the edge strip (24) is picked up into a curved, outwardly pointing contact surface for the edge strip (24).
  30. Apparatus according to Claim 28, characterized in that the guide apparatus comprises a plurality of, in particular three, at least substantially flat guide plates provided with side cheeks and arranged in the form of a cascade.
  31. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-30, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22), which can preferably be moved transversely with respect to the web running direction (L), can be driven via an electronic control system (48).
  32. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-31, characterized in that, firstly, the dividing element (20) placed closest to the relevant web edge (32) can be activated in order to produce the edge strip (24) and then, with the edge strip (30) already tautened and deflected, the other dividing element (22) can be activated in order to produce the transfer strip (26).
  33. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-32, characterized in that, following a transfer of the transfer strip (26) to at least one following machine section (14, 16), the dividing element (22) further removed from the relevant web edge (32) can be moved to the opposite web edge (34) in order to divide off the remaining web (28).
  34. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-33, characterized in that, following a transfer of the transfer strip (26) to at least one following machine section (14, 16), the dividing element (20) placed closest to the relevant web edge (32) can be moved to the relevant web edge (32) in order to divide off the edge strip (24).
  35. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-34, characterized in that, at least at the start of the transfer operation, the transfer strip (26) is produced in the region of the relevant web edge (32).
  36. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-35, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is initially produced at a relatively small distance (A1) from the relevant web edge (32), and the distance from the web edge (32) is subsequently enlarged by appropriately moving the dividing elements (20, 22) in the transverse direction.
  37. Apparatus according to Claim 36, characterized in that the maximum distance (A2) of the transfer strip (26) from the relevant web edge (32) is smaller than its distance from the opposite web edge (34).
  38. Apparatus according to Claim 36 or 37, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is positioned appropriately with respect to at least one following machine section (16) by moving the dividing elements (20, 22) in the transverse direction.
  39. Apparatus according to Claim 38, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is positioned in such a way that it is ultimately gripped over its entire width in the relevant following machine section (16).
  40. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-39, characterized in that, in order to transfer it into at least one first machine section (14), the transfer strip (26) is initially produced at a relatively small distance (A1) from the relevant web edge (32), and then, for the transfer into at least one further machine section (16), the distance from the web edge (32) is enlarged by means of appropriately moving the dividing elements (20, 22) in the transverse direction.
  41. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-40, characterized in that the respectively desired width of the transfer strip (26) can be set by moving the dividing elements (20, 22) appropriately in the transverse direction.
  42. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-41, characterized in that the dividing element (20, 22) provided is in each case a dividing element that operates without contact, in particular a water-jet or laser-beam dividing element, or a mechanical cutting element, in particular a knife or circular-knife element.
  43. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-42, characterized in that dividing elements (20, 22) operating without contact are provided, and the dividing operation is carried out on the last drying cylinder (44) of a papermaking machine (18).
  44. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-43, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22) used are cutting elements that operate mechanically, and the dividing operation is carried out in an unsupported draw of the material web (10).
  45. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-44, characterized in that both dividing elements (20, 22) can be applied within the material web (10) in order to begin the division within this material web (10).
  46. Apparatus according to one of Claims 26 to 44, characterized in that at least one dividing element (20, 22) can already be activated outside the material web (10).
  47. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-46, characterized in that, in order to transfer the transfer strip (26) to the following machine section (14), at least one auxiliary transfer device, in particular a rope guide, transfer belt, air guide device and/or the like, is provided.
  48. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-47, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22) can be driven in such a way that the edge strip (24) is produced with a width which lies in a range from about 50 mm to about 300 mm and preferably in a range from about 50 mm to about 250 mm.
  49. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-48, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22) can be driven in such a way that the transfer strip (26) is produced with a width which lies in a range from about 50 mm to about 400 mm and preferably in a range from about 50 mm to about 200 mm.
  50. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-49, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22) can be driven in such a way that the edge (36) of the transfer strip (26) produced which is placed closest to the relevant web edge (32) is at a distance (B1, B2) from the framing edge (40) or from the rope guides which is greater than 150 mm.
  51. Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-50, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22) can be driven in such a way that the edge (36) of the transfer strip (26) produced which is placed closest to the relevant web edge (32) is at a distance (B1, B2) from the framing edge (40) or from the rope guides which lies in a range from about 150 mm to about 1000 mm.
