- Apparatus according to Claim 28, characterized in that the guide apparatus comprises a plurality of, in particular three, at least substantially flat guide plates provided with side cheeks and arranged in the form of a cascade.
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-30, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22), which can preferably be moved transversely with respect to the web running direction (L), can be driven via an electronic control system (48).
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-31, characterized in that, firstly, the dividing element (20) placed closest to the relevant web edge (32) can be activated in order to produce the edge strip (24) and then, with the edge strip (30) already tautened and deflected, the other dividing element (22) can be activated in order to produce the transfer strip (26).
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-32, characterized in that, following a transfer of the transfer strip (26) to at least one following machine section (14, 16), the dividing element (22) further removed from the relevant web edge (32) can be moved to the opposite web edge (34) in order to divide off the remaining web (28).
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-33, characterized in that, following a transfer of the transfer strip (26) to at least one following machine section (14, 16), the dividing element (20) placed closest to the relevant web edge (32) can be moved to the relevant web edge (32) in order to divide off the edge strip (24).
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-34, characterized in that, at least at the start of the transfer operation, the transfer strip (26) is produced in the region of the relevant web edge (32).
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-35, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is initially produced at a relatively small distance (A1) from the relevant web edge (32), and the distance from the web edge (32) is subsequently enlarged by appropriately moving the dividing elements (20, 22) in the transverse direction.
- Apparatus according to Claim 36, characterized in that the maximum distance (A2) of the transfer strip (26) from the relevant web edge (32) is smaller than its distance from the opposite web edge (34).
- Apparatus according to Claim 36 or 37, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is positioned appropriately with respect to at least one following machine section (16) by moving the dividing elements (20, 22) in the transverse direction.
- Apparatus according to Claim 38, characterized in that the transfer strip (26) is positioned in such a way that it is ultimately gripped over its entire width in the relevant following machine section (16).
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-39, characterized in that, in order to transfer it into at least one first machine section (14), the transfer strip (26) is initially produced at a relatively small distance (A1) from the relevant web edge (32), and then, for the transfer into at least one further machine section (16), the distance from the web edge (32) is enlarged by means of appropriately moving the dividing elements (20, 22) in the transverse direction.
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-40, characterized in that the respectively desired width of the transfer strip (26) can be set by moving the dividing elements (20, 22) appropriately in the transverse direction.
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-41, characterized in that the dividing element (20, 22) provided is in each case a dividing element that operates without contact, in particular a water-jet or laser-beam dividing element, or a mechanical cutting element, in particular a knife or circular-knife element.
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-42, characterized in that dividing elements (20, 22) operating without contact are provided, and the dividing operation is carried out on the last drying cylinder (44) of a papermaking machine (18).
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-43, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22) used are cutting elements that operate mechanically, and the dividing operation is carried out in an unsupported draw of the material web (10).
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-44, characterized in that both dividing elements (20, 22) can be applied within the material web (10) in order to begin the division within this material web (10).
- Apparatus according to one of Claims 26 to 44, characterized in that at least one dividing element (20, 22) can already be activated outside the material web (10).
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-46, characterized in that, in order to transfer the transfer strip (26) to the following machine section (14), at least one auxiliary transfer device, in particular a rope guide, transfer belt, air guide device and/or the like, is provided.
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-47, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22) can be driven in such a way that the edge strip (24) is produced with a width which lies in a range from about 50 mm to about 300 mm and preferably in a range from about 50 mm to about 250 mm.
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-48, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22) can be driven in such a way that the transfer strip (26) is produced with a width which lies in a range from about 50 mm to about 400 mm and preferably in a range from about 50 mm to about 200 mm.
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-49, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22) can be driven in such a way that the edge (36) of the transfer strip (26) produced which is placed closest to the relevant web edge (32) is at a distance (B1, B2) from the framing edge (40) or from the rope guides which is greater than 150 mm.
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding Claims 26-50, characterized in that the dividing elements (20, 22) can be driven in such a way that the edge (36) of the transfer strip (26) produced which is placed closest to the relevant web edge (32) is at a distance (B1, B2) from the framing edge (40) or from the rope guides which lies in a range from about 150 mm to about 1000 mm.
