Description

Zunσenkasten für RillenschienenweichenZunσenkasten for grooved rail switches
The invention relates to a tongue box for grooved rail switches with a stock rail, a sliding plate and a side rail, the side rail and the sliding plate and a base plate being welded together and forming a box-shaped profile with the back rail.
A tongue box of the type mentioned in the introduction can be found, for example, in DE 39 04 026 C2. In this known construction, the stock rail, the slide plate, the side rail and the base plate are welded together, so that a stable box construction is achieved. In order to carry out such a welding, however, it is naturally necessary to use correspondingly weldable steels, so that highly wear-resistant steels cannot be considered as material for the stock rail unless a costly heat treatment has to be accepted.
_ _The problem of the lack of weldability in accordance with wear-resistant steels was already recognized in DE 33 43 239 Cl. According to this older tongue device, a box profile was screwed to the stock rail, the reason being that stock rails with the required special rolled profile usually have an average carbon content of 0.6% by weight, so that welding can only be carried out after sufficient preheating . Even with such a preheating and also with a carefully carried out welding there is still the risk of tearing in the area of the stock rail at the ends of the base plates, because in this area the weld seam has a notch effect. In order to counter the risk of further cracks forming when the tongue area is inevitably straightened after welding, a screwed construction was selected here. _ _
The invention now aims to utilize the advantages of a welded construction in terms of stability and still make it possible to use highly wear-resistant stock rails without having to forego the stability of a welded construction. To achieve this object, the design according to the invention essentially consists in the fact that the stock rail is non-positively and positively connected to the box-shaped profile by means of clamping pieces welded to the box-shaped profile and / or the base plate. The fact that clamping pieces are used, which can be welded in a so-called shrink welding with components made of easily weldable materials, ensures a non-positive and positive connection, in which the risk of loosening screws or other detachable components is avoided and all the advantages of a welded Construction in relation to the stability of the tongue box can be achieved.
The design according to the invention is advantageously made in such a way that the clamping piece is designed as a collar bushing which is inserted through an opening in the rail web of the stock rail and is connected to the box-shaped profile by shrink welding, and that the collar of the collar bushing is the opening in the web overlaps the stock rail on the outside facing away from the box-shaped profile. Such a collar bushing which is inserted into a corresponding recess or opening in the rail web, after shrink welding, not only allows the corresponding positive connection by pressing the collar of the collar bushing, but also to ensure the positive connection by plugging into the opening in the rail web, whereby the direct welding between the poorly weldable material of the highly wear-resistant stock rails and the components of the box profile is avoided. The welded joint can therefore be carried out in a conventional manner without expensive heat treatment, the required stability being guaranteed. In a particularly simple way The design can be further stiffened in that the rail foot of the stock rail is overlapped by plate-shaped clamping pieces welded to the base plate. Such plate-shaped clamping pieces can also cause an additional non-positive connection due to the shrinking process associated with the welding of the plates, so that the stability of the construction is further increased.
Highly wear-resistant materials can advantageously be used as material for the stock rails, the design preferably being such that the stock rail is a head-hardened grooved rail made of steel with a C content of 0.6-0.9% by weight, in particular 0 , 8% by weight, and strengths of the base body of 850-1050 N / mm 2 and head strength of 1100-1200 N / mm 2 are formed, and in particular that a naturally hard steel of the type R 800 or type R 900 A or tempered steels of the type HSHM or HSH is used for the stock rails. Such steels, which have a carbon content of about 0.8% by weight, can only be welded to a limited extent or not at all and can only be made weldable by special welding processes or by preheating the welding, for example in a gas furnace to about 500 degrees Celsius are or are excluded from this application. Such preheating can be dispensed with or use can be ensured by using clamping pieces. Since no longitudinal seams, as would occur by welding the rail to the base plate, are formed in the shrink welding according to the invention, post-processing by alignment is not necessary or only to a small extent.
The good weldability of the box profile and the clamping pieces to be welded to the box profile is advantageously ensured by the fact that the side rail and the components of the box-shaped profile welded together are made of easily weldable structural steel, in particular of the ST50 quality. The box-shaped profile can already be completely formed using support plates before the fixing of the stock rails by shrink welding the flange bush, for which the design is advantageously made such that the box-shaped profile which is welded to one another consists of cross-sections of parallel support plates and the slide plate welded to the support plates as well as the base plate parallel to the slide plate, the side rail being welded to one of the two support plates. The fixing of the stock rails takes place in a simple manner in that the flange bushing is connected to the support plate opposite the side rail, whereby, in order to ensure a corresponding shrinkage effect and thus a corresponding positive connection, the design is advantageously made such that the axial length the collar bush pushed into the web of the stock rail at the stop of the federal government is less than the width of the web of the stock rail, and that the annular gap between the collar bush and the support plate is closed by shrink welding. After the solidification of the weld seam in the annular gap in the form of a hole welding, a corresponding tensioning effect takes place by thermal contraction, which ensures the high stability and strength.
An additional increase in stability can be achieved in that support parts for the lateral support of the stock rail are welded to the base plate.
Die Backen- schiene 1 ist über mit der Grundplatte verschweißte plattenför- mige Spannstücke 6 an der Grundplatte 4 festgelegt .A tongue box 1 is shown in FIG. 1, the top rail 2, the side rail 3, the base plate 4 and the slide plate 5 being visible in the plan view. The cheek Rail 1 is fixed to the base plate 4 by means of plate-shaped clamping pieces 6 welded to the base plate.
Der Schienensteg der Rillenschiene 2 ist hierbei mit 10 bezeichnet.2 shows the grooved rail profile of the stock rail 2 made of a highly wear-resistant grooved rail material, the plate-shaped clamping elements 6 engaging over the rail foot 7 of the stock rail 2. Lateral supports 8 are also welded to the base plate 4, which, with the support members 9, provide lateral support for the grooved rail 2. The rail web of the grooved rail 2 is designated 10 here.
The box construction can now be seen in more detail from the illustration according to FIG. The box-shaped profile consists of the base plate 4, the slide plate 5, in which the tongue of the rail switch is slidably guided, and two vertically extending support plates 11 and 12. The rail web 10 of the stock rail 2 has an opening 13, into which a collar bushing 14 is plugged in. The flange bushing 14 is welded to one of the plate-shaped support parts 12 by means of a hole weld, the weld seam of which is designated 15, whereby shrink welding is carried out here, which leads to the collar 16 of the flange bushing 14, which has the opening, having solidified after the weld seam 13 of the rail web engages around the outside, is pressed non-positively against the rail web and thus connects the rail web non-positively and positively to the box profile.
The side rail is again designated 3 and can be welded to the base body of the box-shaped profile by conventional hole welding 17.
