Abstract

The invention relates to a pile fabric comprising a textile support structure (1) and a trimming consisting of pile threads (3) which are anchored in the support structure (1). The aim of the invention is to produce a pile fabric of said type with good properties which are evenly distributed over the entire surface thereof i.e. to produce a fabric which retains a good abrasive and absorbent effect and retains its volume over the entire surface. An additional aim is to improve the mechanical anchoring of the rigid pile threads (3) in the support structure (1). To this end, the inventive pile threads (3) consist wholly or partially of a multi-filament yarn which contains both fine filaments (4) and coarse filaments (5). The coarse filament count is more than 25 times greater than the fine filament (4) count.

Description

The invention relates to a pile fabric consisting of a textile support structure with trimmings of pile threads anchored in the support structure.

According to the prior art (cf. EP 0 609 678 A1), it is known for one such as polypropylene used as cleaning textile with pile threads to use different titers, with selected areas Pile threads with a particularly high titer and other surface areas of pile threads with a low titer. The pile threads should be high Titer a strong abrasive cleaning effect and the pile threads with little Titer have good suction power to absorb the cleaning liquid.

Problems arise with the previously known polypropylene in that the cleaning effect seen across the area is not the same everywhere and in particular the areas with pile threads of small titers quickly lose their volume, because the pile threads bend with a small titer and lay flat. Further Problems arise from the fact that the stiff pile threads have a high titer poorly anchor in the support structure and glued to it or must be welded so that they do not move away from the Loosen the support structure.

It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a pile material of the type mentioned Art to create that has uniformly good properties over its entire surface has, that means everywhere has a good abrasion and suction effect and maintains its volume everywhere. In addition, the mechanical anchoring the stiff pile threads in the support structure can be improved.

To achieve this object, the invention proposes starting from a pile material of the type mentioned above that the pile threads all or in part from one Multi-filament yarn are made of fine filaments and on the other hand, contains coarse filaments, the titer of which is more than 25 times is larger than the titer of the fine filaments.

The pile fabric according to the invention uses a multi-filament yarn for the first time for the pile threads from coarse and fine filaments with very wide titer apart, the coarse filaments of the pile thread great rigidity, resilience and scratching effect and the fine filaments give the pile thread great suction. There is between the coarse and the fine filaments a particularly intimate mixture, so that the Polstoff has uniform properties over its entire surface. Because the coarse and fine filaments in the pile threads together are twisted, despite the great stiffness of the individual pile threads a particularly durable anchoring of the pile threads in the textile Support structure, which can be designed as a woven, knitted or knitted fabric. Especially the fine filaments that closely match the coarse filaments are connected, cause a particularly firm anchoring and Clinging in the textile support structure.

A first embodiment of the pile fabric according to the invention provides that the fine filaments have a titer of 0.2 to 5 dtex. Filaments with this degree of fineness are particularly absorbent and can store a relatively large amount of liquid. With such fine fibers, a number of up to 100,000 individual fibers per cm 2 can be achieved with a correspondingly large capillary effect. Nevertheless, each pile thread remains stiff and resilient due to the high titer fibers it contains.

The fine filaments are expediently made of polyester and the coarse ones Polyamide elements. Pole threads with this material pair are on the one hand stiff and absorbent on the other hand and also have the ability to easily dispensed absorbed liquids.

The filaments in the pile threads are expediently all of the same length. This will achieved that the Polstoff one of its surface, that is in the area of distal ends of the individual pile threads, is load-bearing and at the same time absorbent. Because of these properties, such a polar material is particularly suitable as Upholstery fabric for a paint roller. Due to the great rigidity of the rough Such a cover fabric is pressed into filaments when using the paint roller not flat on the surface to be painted. On the other hand, the fine filaments by capillary action the color to be applied in the Tip areas of the individual pile threads, which makes a particularly uniform Color application results.

See another embodiment of a pile fabric according to the invention that the fine filaments have a titer of 0.2 to 5 dtex and the coarse Filaments have a titer of more than 18 dtex. This results in a That is, polypropylene that has a particularly strong abrasive effect is particularly suitable for use as cleaning textile.

To further increase the abrasion effect, the fine ones may be used Filaments should be more crimped than the coarse filaments. Stand by this the coarse filaments beyond the fine filaments, so that the Surface of the pile material gives a brush effect.

A third embodiment provides that the fine filaments have a titer of 0.05 to 6.7 dtex and the coarse filaments a titer of 1.25 to 170 dtex to have. The fine filaments consist of polypropylene (PP) and / or Viscose and / or polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and the coarse filaments made of polyester (PES) and / or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and / or polycarbonate (PC). Such a Polstoff can be adapted to a wide variety of applications.

In particular, it is suitable, for example, as a massage pad or as Massage glove. Depending on the desired massage effect the coarse and fine filaments either have different widths or be curled up equally. If they are curled up equally, the result is Pole fabric that is evenly soft in the surface and very volume is elastic.

In contrast, the coarse filaments are curled less far than that fine filaments, there is a relatively aggressive surface that causes skin irritation during massage, for example. are in contrast, the coarse filaments curled further than the fine ones Filaments, so there is a particularly soft and gentle surface that in volume but is very stable and elastic.

In Figure 1, the textile carrier structure of the pile fabric, here is a Back wall fabric, designated in its entirety with the reference number 1. It consists of warp threads, not shown, and perpendicular to them Weft threads 2.

In this support structure 1, pile threads 3 are anchored, which are adjacent Weft threads are passed around and are cut off at both ends in such a way that their distal end portions are approximately perpendicular to the main plane of extension the support structure 1 run.

The pile threads 3 of the pile material are all or at least large Part of a multifilament yarn, which on the one hand has fine filaments 4 and on the other hand contains coarse filaments 5, the titer of which is more than 25 times is larger than the titer of the fine filaments 4.

When using the polar fabric as a cover for a paint roller, they have fine filaments 4, for example, a titer of 0.2 to 5 dtex. The titer of the associated coarse filaments 5 is at least 25 times as large. To have So the fine filaments have a titer of 0.2 dtex, so the coarse ones Filaments have a titer of more than 5 dtex. In contrast, have the fine Filaments have a titer of 5 dtex, so the coarse filaments have a titer of more than 25 dtex.

In the embodiment of Figure 1, the coarse and the fine Filaments 4 and 5 all the same length. The fine filaments 4 consist Polyester and the coarse filaments 5 made of polyamide. This material pairing is especially suitable for paint rollers. The coarse filaments 5 support the Paint roller in the contact plane on the roller circumference against that with paint too coating surface. In contrast, the fine filaments transport due to their extremely good capillary action, the color in this area Area. Such a paint roller achieves a particularly uniform Paint application and tends to spray relatively little.

If the pile is to be used as a cleaning textile, they have fine filaments a titer of 0.2 to 5 dtex and the coarse filaments a Titers of more than 18 dtex. As in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, the fine filaments 4 crimped more than the coarse filaments 5, see above this results in a particularly rough and abrasion-active surface of the pile fabric.

In contrast, the rough in the embodiment of Figure 3 Filaments 5 crimped further than the fine filaments 4, there is one Textile with a particularly soft surface that is still a special one has elastic volume.

Adaptation to a wide variety of applications is possible if the fine filaments a titer of 0.05 to 6.7 dtex and the coarse filaments have a titre of 1.25 to 170 dtex. For the fine filaments are especially the materials polypropylene (PP), viscose or Suitable for polyacrylonitrile (PAN). For the coarse filaments one uses in contrast advantageous polyester (PES) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or Polycarbonate (PC). By appropriate selection and pairing of Materials can be adapted to a wide variety of applications be, for example, as a fabric for particularly soft or special aggressive-looking massage gloves or as industrial textiles, for example for cleaning, as a filter covering or the like.
