Definitions
- the present invention relates to a shoe as defined in the preamble of claim 1.
- This innovation finds applications in the fields of the shoes intended to be secured to a sports machine, in particular for the practice of sports sliding, ski touring, downhill skiing, snowboarding, but also for the practice of other sports such that the snowshoe, ... etc.
- the first which is the oldest, consists of a soft boot, without special reinforcement, which the rigidity is ensured by the so-called "shell” fastening system entirely mounted on the surf. It has a device for fastening the shoe to the surf made of a plate laid flat on the surf, rigid, ensuring the binding boot / board, which supports, in its part posterior, a back cover or “spoiler” ensuring the rear support of the boot, a system of straps and ratchets ensuring the maintenance of the heel by styling the instep / ankle junction, and, in its middle part or front, another strap and ratchet now the forefoot against the aforementioned plate.
- step-in has a fastening system ensuring only the solidarity of the shoe and the snowboard.
- the shoe then has internal reinforcements footwear in the form of a plastic insert located only between the rear rod and the slipper (integrated spoiler), a stiffer sole than the previous one, and external reinforcements in the form of straps locking the upper part of the ankle and the instep.
- the last principle is a mixture of precedents where we see the back rod reinforcement is on the binding, is fixed externally to the rear face of the shoe.
- These two principles present a general rigidity superior to the first principle of boots / bindings also for a higher weight, a loss of plantar sensations of slip and flexural stiffness directly related to the aging of the material constituting the footwear and the intensive nature of the practice.
- document FR 2 361 837 discloses a flexible shoe that can be rigidified temporarily, using a hood of covering part of the anterior surface of the upper of the shoe.
- the hood is attached to the shoe by straps to stiffen it or, alternatively, it is removed to keep flexibility.
- the shoe according to document FR 2 361 837 is particularly adapted to the hiking in the mountains, because it allows sometimes walking, sometimes skiing.
- the object of the present invention is to remedy the disadvantages mentioned above and in particular to propose a solution to the problem of controlling the anteroposterior stiffness of the shoe, while maintaining optimal plantar sensitivity.
- Another object of the present invention is also to provide a modular system to modulate the bending stiffness of the shoe according to the type of use envisaged or according to the user.
- a final object of the present invention is to provide a shoe construction allowing an optimal transmission of the efforts of the leg of the user to the sports machine.
- the invention relates to a sports shoe intended to be attached to a sports machine, the shoe comprising a bending stiffening device, the device comprising a cover adapted to cover the front face of the boot, the hood extending substantially from the instep to substantially the anterior end of the insole.
- the shoe is characterized in that the device is articulated on the sole.
- the hood or stiffening device is able to cover the front face of the shoe and extends from the area of the flexion fold to the anterior end zone of the sole.
- the hood of shapes and of variable rigidity, interchangeable or fixed, can cover and keep the instep and / or the instep and the lower part of the face completely or partially anterior of the leg.
- Its method of bilateral attachment to the shoe determines a race in an antero-posterior direction that defines a position open which completely releases the upper and allows the donning / heaving operations shoe, lacing / delamination or any other tightening / loosening mode, while remaining secured to the front end of the shoe.
- a closed position is defined in which, depending on its shape, it may cover all or part of the front face of the boot. It then partially or completely covers the tightening system of the footwear and the protected.
- the possibility of quick change for a hood of different shape and / or stiffness allows for adaptability of the characteristics of the footwear at the levels and conditions of snowboarding.
- the hood itself may have movable parts, branches articulated to it by riveting, him to adapt to different volumes and / or sizes of the boot. The hood is activated manually.
- the method of fixing the hood on the boot can be fixed or removable.
- the hood is attached to the sole irrespective of the upper and fits under, in or out and other of the sole in his plantar part.
- the cover fixing insert may consist of an axis, whose technical characteristics will be detailed later, arranged transversely to the axis length of the shoe and its path notches the wear surface of the sole. If the insert fastening is housed inside thereof, a recess is provided in the soleplate for ensure the passage of the axis and its maintenance.
- the front end of the hood consisting of two branches or side tabs pierced each one of a hole of the diameter of the axis, is solidariser at each end of the axis by nut if the ends of the shaft are threaded or clipping, or any other holding mode.
- the chosen insertion surfaces are the lateral edges of the sole, two inserts not through the partial penetration of the sole and the hood is fixed as previously or by mortise or snap system or any other mode of fixation.
- the various fastening devices of the cover form the articulation which confers on this one its antero-posterior mobility already described and define open / closed positions above.
- this axis contributes to the lateral and torsional stiffness of the front of the shoe while maintaining flexibility to the sole required for plantar sensations.
- the definitions of the constituent elements of the invention make it possible to identify characteristics of the improvement made to the shoe by the addition of this system. he improves the mechanical and comfort properties of the boot.
- Comfort properties the footwear and the slipper can be lightened; the front part of the boot can be flexible; the hood protects the integrity of the lacing system and can protect cold, freezes, rain, ... etc. Some lateral flexibility at the ankle can be retained.
- the device can adapt to the size and / or the volume of the shoe by the assembly of movable branches. The simplicity of the device gives it great ease of use and a high reliability of use.
- FIGS 1 to 5 illustrate a shoe 10, in this case intended for surfing snow, equipped with a hood 1 according to the invention.
- This cover 1 has substantially a tile form capable of covering the front part, that is to say before the shoe 10, from its tibial bearing zone 20 to its anterior end 22, including the fold zone 21.
- the hood 1 is extended at the front by two lateral branches 2 extending to the level of the sole 9 of the shoe.
- the hood 1 is attached to the shoe, on the one hand to the sole 9 at the of the metatarsophalangeal joint area or the base of the toes via its branches side 2, on the other hand to the upper of the shoe 10 at the level of the instep 21 and / or the tibial support by clamping straps 13 of a type known per se.
- cover 1 covers the closure zone 12, in particular by lacing, of the front part of the stem.
- the hood 1 can have a wide variety of shapes, sizes, reliefs, allowing the guiding and / or inserting belts, straps, lights, materials, in order to obtain the degree of rigidity desired.
- Hood 1 may allow it to expand maximum of the tip of the foot 22 at the top 23 of the rod 10 of the boot, without exceeding this one for reasons of comfort, nor to exceed the tip of the foot to allow a tilting 1/14 which releases the upper in the case where said hood is pivotally mounted.
- the hood has at its end anterior two branches 2 of the same material and without discontinuity of material, or legs, each pierced by a hole 3, or bearing tenon or mortise or pressures or other type of fixation.
- branches are drilled. They move towards the side edges the sole to join the lateral ends of the inserts 5 or carried by the sole.
- an arch 4 of the same material and without discontinuity of This topic brings together these two branches 2.
- the insole insert 5 will for example be internal to the sole 9 and through, this mode insert having lateral and torsional stiffening of the front sole. He introduces himself in the form of an axis. It can be metallic, plastic or other, rigid, semi-rigid, even flexible in the case of a cable. Its extremities 16, flush with the outside of the lateral edges 17 of the sole 9 are, in the example, provided with a thread 16 for fixing the 2 branches of the cover 1. This axis can cross the sole 9 in an area 9A thereof from the anterior end of the arch 9B to the front end 9C of the shoe.
- the axis 5 transversely crosses the sole 9 at the level of toes of the foot for comfort and optimal efficiency in torsion.
- the installation of this axis 5 can be achieved during molding during the construction of the sole, by installation or realization of an indwelling hollow channel 8, receiving it, allowing free play in rotation sagittal axis and / or its replacement or extraction, temporary or permanent.
- Axis 5 can also be introduced after drilling a channel 8 of the diameter of the axis 5 in the thickness of the sole 9.
- the fastening of the cover 1 on the axis 5 is carried out as follows: in the example, the holes 3 drilled at the end of each branch 2 are each lodged around flush and threaded ends 16 of the axis 5 and are held there by an anti-loosening washer 6 and a nut 7 which cap each end 16 of the axis 5.
- Each branch 2 is secured to the shoe by tightening the nuts 7 in a couple preventing loosening and avoiding deformation of the shoe.
- the pivoting of the hood 1 in an anterior-posterior direction is then possible by simple manual action.
- the face internal branches 2 rests against the lateral edges of the sole 17.
- the entire device described finds its industrial application in the sector of shoe for the practice of a sport using a gear to which is attached shoe, a non-limiting example is the snowboard boot. In this case, he can adapt to almost all existing models.
- the present invention is not limited to the mode described embodiment. This is how the hood can be removably attached and be provided interchangeable with a hood of different rigidity for adaptation to a practice or different user.
- the method of fixing the hood on the sole can also be realized differently either on the sides of the latter or by a non-shaped insert necessarily cylindrical.
