Definitions
- the technical sector of the present invention is that transportable containers generally parallelepiped.
- Patent EP-0371540 describes a deployable container up to six times the basic interior volume. Unfortunately, once folded and / or disassembled in transport configuration, the different extensions and accessories fill the entire interior volume of the container thus prohibiting the storage of materials to inside of it.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to provide a deployable container in three to five volumes, offering folded position free storage space inside of it intended for the integration of all the material necessary.
- the invention therefore relates to a container transportable parallelepiped whose sides delimit a base floor, roof and side walls, one at less side walls being hinged relative to the floor along their common edge to be deployed and serve as a floor for an additional enclosure, characterized in that a side wall is connected to a additional wall by an articulated deployment means, said side wall and the additional wall constituting in the deployed position two additional floors extending the base floor making it possible to constitute said additional enclosure.
- the means of deployment consists of two joints and a spacer, a joint being interposed between the wall side and the spacer and the other between the wall additional and the spacer.
- each articulation ensures a rotation of approximately 90 °.
- the width of the spacer is defined so as to ensure folded position a space between the additional wall and the side wall.
- the means constituting the side walls and the roof of the additional enclosure are housed in space.
- the side walls and the roof of the additional enclosure consist of a removable metal frame and by a tarp.
- the side walls and the roof of the additional enclosure consist of inflatable envelopes.
- the means to deploy and retain the floors additional can be operated by a set of cables and winches.
- Means for deploying and retaining the wall additional consist of inflatable envelopes themselves.
- a very first advantage of the container according to the invention lies in the formation of a free space inside the container in transport configuration.
- Another advantage is the possibility of deploying a wall equipped with its additional wall in order to significantly increase the initial volume of the container.
- Another advantage is the possibility of deploying two opposite walls respectively equipped with their walls additional to multiply the volume by five inside the container.
- Another advantage of the container according to the invention lies in the fact that the walls and the roof, that they are of the type classic or inflatable, are integrated into the space available between the side wall and the additional wall.
- Another significant advantage of the container according to the invention equipped with inflatable type walls and roof lies in the fact that there is no contact between the interior and exterior of the container during the deployment or folding.
- FIG. 1 there is shown a standardized container 1 ISO standard size consisting of a floor 1a, a roof 1b and side faces 1c-1f.
- the side 1d or 1f can receive doors allowing access to the interior of the container.
- the side faces 1c and 1e, the largest, placed opposite, can be made deployable by report to the container in a known manner and be equipped with additional walls to constitute one or two enclosures additional.
- a joint is provided between each side wall and the floor 1a of the container.
- the invention aims to increase the initial volume of such a container by adding additional speakers to achieve integration of the necessary equipment and service related to the use of the container.
- Figure 2 shows a perspective view of the container 1 providing after deployment five volumes useful.
- the walls 1c and 1f articulated along from the edge 2 of the floor 1a of the container to pass from a folded and vertical position in an extended position substantially horizontal.
- the walls 1c and 1e are extended by two walls additional 3 and 4 constituting the floors shown here deployed in a substantially horizontal position. These walls 3 and 4 are connected to walls 1c and 1e via deployment means 5 which will be described later.
- a protection 6 consisting of a frame removable metal and a tarpaulin (not shown here).
- this protection 6 will advantageously consist of walls side and roof made from inflatable elements as described in prior patent FR-A-2 757 200 of Applicant to whom we can refer.
- the container includes two doors 7 and 8 integrated in the face 1f to charge it and unload it.
- Figure 3 shows in front view the multiplication of the surface on the ground following the various deployments.
- the initial surface 9, representing the folded position is first increased by areas 10 and 11 (deployment walls 1c and 3) to form a set of three volumes, then by surfaces 12 and 13 (deployment of walls 1f and 4) to constitute a set with five volumes.
- the final surface therefore corresponds substantially to three times or five times the original area.
- Figure 4 shows schematically the container 1 in which the additional wall 3 is in the folded position according to the invention, the additional wall 4 not shown occupying a similar position.
- the wall 3 playing the role of floor is connected to the wall 1c via the deployment means 5.
- This consists of a spacer 13 connected to the wall 1c by the articulation 14 and to the wall 3 by the joint 15. It can be seen that the wall 3 is substantially parallel to the wall 1c separated by a distance (d1) substantially equivalent to the width of the spacer 13 delimiting a space 16.
- This distance (d1) allows to store the constituent means 6 of the walls side and roof of the additional enclosure.
- Interior availability 17 of the container according to the invention is in this case of the order of 1900 millimeters and we can then house the material of easement such as furniture and electronic devices usual in this kind of installation.
- the articulation 14 or 15 is carried out conventionally, for example of the type hinge, and need not be described in detail.
- an articulation comprising a yoke, a flat and a hinge pin.
- Figure 5 shows the first step in deploying the wall 1c which passes from a vertical position to a position horizontal driving the wall 3.
- This wall is connected at the lower edge 2 of the floor 1a via a joint 18 of known type.
- This deployment is carried out, either using a mechanical device of the winch type and cable, either using a hydraulic device of the type cylinders (not shown here).
- Figure 6 shows the wall 1c placed in position horizontal. It can be supported in a known manner by via a wedge 19, by prop or by guying (not shown).
- the deployment means 5 comprises the two joints 14 and 15 locked relative to the spacer and the walls. We have planned that both joints each allow rotation of the order of ninety degrees.
- Figure 7 illustrates the beginning of the deployment of the wall 3.
- the articulation 14 being locked, the wall 3 passes from horizontal position to vertical position by turning around the joint 15 at an angle represented by the reference 23.
- Figure 8 shows the end of the deployment of the wall 3.
- the articulation 14 is blocked automatically when the wall 3 is in the vertical position, we then unlock the joint 15 to allow the rotation of the wall 3 to the horizontal position deployed at an angle 24.
- the descent of the wall 3 is assisted by a mechanical or hydraulic device cited above.
- the wall 3 is retained by the rigidity of the side wall and roof air bags. These are arranged so that the deployment then intervenes without any contact between the interior and the exterior of container 1 thus ensuring isolation essential in the case of medical equipment (hospitals of campaign) or in the case of military protection systems biological or chemical.
- Figure 9 shows the container 1 in its phase final deployment. Indeed, the wall 3 is in position horizontal deployed and maintained relative to the ground by shims 19 or by props (not shown).
- FIG 10 a container 1 according to the invention equipped with two side walls 1c and the to which two walls are connected respectively additional 3 and 4 by means of deployment 5.
- Space 16 separates the additional walls 3 and 4 of the respective walls 1c and 1e to store the inflatable envelopes 6 for walls and roofs.
- the internal availability 26 of the container according to the invention is in this case of the order of 1400 millimeters.
- Figure 11 illustrates the full deployment of the two walls 1c and the based on a principle identical to the phases described in relation to Figures 4-9.
- the folding of the additional walls 3 and 4 is carried out conventionally using a mechanical device of the type winch and cable after locking the joint 15.
- the joint 15 is then unlocked and the joint 14 locked to allow the wall 3 to descend in horizontal folded position.
- this descent is assisted by the deflation wall and roof inflatable envelopes 10.
- the wall 1c is brought back in a conventional manner, by cable and winch, in its initial position. Walls 4 and 1e are brought back from identical way. Note that the process described presents great interest in the storage of resources 6. In effect, when the wall 3 is in a vertical position and the wall 1c in horizontal position we have a space appreciable for storing the different elements and maneuver all the accessories used.
