Abstract

  1. Visible lock for casement comprising:
    a body in the form of two interlockable half-shells (1, 2);

    the other half-shell (2) serves as a cover;
    the half-shells (1, 2) having arrangements for attaching them together and to a part of the casement,
    characterized in that
    the half-shells (1, 2) define a casing generally rectangular and flat in shape;
    the vertical bolts (4, 5) are coupled by removable coupling pins (11, 12) to the link rods (9, 10) of the actuating mechanism mounted in one of the half-shells (1);
    the other half-shell (2) has retractable arrangements for access to the removable coupling pins (11, 12) of the said bolts (4, 5) for the purpose of replacing them, without removing the half-shells;
    the half-shells (1, 2) have arrangements for the lateral bolt (3) to protrude on one or other side of the said half-shells in order to obtain reversibility;
    the various actuating elements of the mechanism which give the direction of locking, such as the cylinder (15), the lateral bolt (3), are situated in the plane of symmetry of the casing defined by the assembly of the half-shells (1, 2).
  2. Lock according to Claim 1, characterized in that the retractable arrangements for access to the removable coupling pin of the vertical bolts (4, 5) consist of a plate (13, 14) mounted slidingly in the arrangements of the half-shell (2) serving as a cover, being capable of blanking off a window (2a, 2b) formed in the thickness of the said half-shell (2) and emerging opposite the removable coupling pin (11, 12).

Lock according to Claim 2, characterized in that each window (2a, 2b) is formed from at least one of the lateral edges of the half-shell (2) and in the totality of its thickness at the removable coupling pins (11, 12) and on only a part of this thickness which corresponds to that of the sliding plate (13, 14).
  4. Lock according to Claim 1, characterized in that the two vertical bolts (4, 5) are rectilinear and of generally rectangular shape.
  5. Lock according to Claim 1, characterized in that the two vertical bolts (4, 5) are bent and of generally squared shape.
  6. Lock according to Claim 1, characterized in that one of the vertical bolts (4) is rectilinear and of generally rectangular shape, the other bolt (5) is bent and of generally squared shape.
  7. Lock according to Claim 1, characterized in that at least one of the vertical bolts has a clankpin (17) for coupling with an operating and/or locking link rod.
  8. Lock according to Claim 1, characterized in that the lateral bolt (3) is coupled to the actuating mechanism by means of a screw accessible from the outside of the half-shell (2) serving as a cover in order for it to protrude at one or other side of the body.
