Definitions

  • the invention relates to a ventilated facade, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the invention further relates to a method for producing such a facade according to claim 10.
  • an insulating layer is applied to the wall of the building to which the facade is to be attached, which is usually made of prefabricated insulation panels or sheets.
  • the outer wall cladding is fastened by means of a substructure of supporting elements at a distance of a few centimeters from the insulating layer. The distance is necessary so that a ventilation space is created between the insulating layer and the outer wall cladding, which serves in particular for the removal of condensation.
  • foam glass an insulating material made of foamed glass, eg of quartz glass, fulfills higher requirements for insulation properties and environmental compatibility.
  • the insulating properties of foam glass based on the material structure with a plurality of closed bubbles in the glass material, which is effectively prevented by a heat transfer. Because of the base material glass, foam glass is non-flammable, dimensionally stable, water- and acid-resistant and resistant to pest infestation.
  • the insulating material is applied to the structure, e.g. the wall to be covered, glued and / or dowelled.
  • the substructure is attached directly to the structure, which is why the insulation layer has recesses corresponding to the grid of the substructure, which must be stuffed after attaching the substructure.
  • thermal bridges are formed by the outer wall paneling to the structure.
  • EP-A 0 919 674 discloses a support element for the substructure of a ventilated facade, which has a support plate resting on the insulating layer and is fastened directly to the supporting structure by a pin-shaped anchoring element.
  • the support elements pierce the insulating layer just at the necessary support points, so that the insulating layer remains largely intact. This reduces the heat flow through the insulation layer. Only the anchoring elements still form thermal bridges.
  • the installation of the facade is simplified because the insulation boards must not be provided with precisely placed recesses for the substructure before applying to the structure.
  • US 4,438,611 discloses a facade which has an insulating layer of insulating boards arranged side by side.
  • the insulation boards are attached by means of rail-like strips and retaining clips on the structure, wherein the strips protrude partially into the insulation boards.
  • the retaining clips attached to the structure pass through the insulating layer in order to interact with the rail-like strips.
  • a flat panel is bolted to the rail-shaped strips.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of further developing a ventilated facade in such a way that the described disadvantages are avoided, in particular the heat transfer through the facade is reduced to a minimum.
  • the process for producing a ventilated facade should be improved.
  • the object is achieved by a facade, with the features of claim 1.
  • the holding element is therefore attached to the insulating element without direct support on the structure so that it does not pierce the insulation layer.
  • the weight of the facade is transferred to the supporting structure via the dimensionally stable insulating layer.
  • Such an insulating element has the advantage that on the holding element no thermally conductive compound (thermal bridge) is formed to the underside of the Dämmelements and thus to the supporting structure.
  • the sufficient stability is ensured by the choice of a dimensionally stable under the weight load of the substructure and the outer wall insulation material, such as preferably foam glass.
  • Dämmelements Another advantage of the Dämmelements is that it simplifies the installation of the facade, since the holding elements are already present and therefore need not be mounted on the building. After attaching the insulating layer, the substructure can be readily mounted without holes, as previously necessary, drilled at defined locations for attachment of support elements and these must be inserted and secured. Since the assembly often takes place at a great height, the duration of the fitters can in this Danger zone, as well as the time in which the unprotected wall is exposed to the weather.
  • a ventilated facade with an insulating layer which consists at least partially of the inventive insulation elements, has all the advantages of these insulation elements.
  • their thermal insulation is significantly improved because no thermal bridges are formed to the structure.
  • the object is further achieved by a method for producing a ventilated facade with the features of claim 10.
  • a method for producing a ventilated facade with the features of claim 10.
  • either an insulating layer is first glued to the structure and then provided with retaining elements or the retaining elements are attached to the insulating elements before sticking the insulating layer.
  • Both variants have the already described great advantage of improved thermal insulation. Because the holding elements do not completely penetrate the insulating layer, no thermal bridges are formed by the outer wall lining to the supporting structure. Due to the modular design, the number and position of the retaining elements can be adapted to the requirements imposed by the nature of the outer wall cladding in both variants, eg, more insulating elements with retaining elements can be used to attach a heavier or more exposed to the wind outer clothing.
  • the first variant also has the advantage that additional retaining elements can be installed during assembly, for example, at particularly stressed areas.
  • the second variant has the already described advantages of reduced assembly time.
  • closed-cell foamed glass, foam glass, as a base material for the insulating elements is advantageous, for example Foamglas® from Pittsburgh Corning AG. It has good insulation properties due to its structure of a large number of hermetically sealed glass cells. Because of this cell geometry, it is pressure-resistant and dimensionally stable at a compressive strength of preferably 0.8 to 1.7 N / mm 2 even with long-term loading. Foam glass has approximately the same coefficient of expansion as concrete. This does not cause tension when covering a concrete wall with foam glass.
  • the holding element is used for fastening in the foam glass, in particular pressed under pressure, and preferably additionally glued.
  • an adhesive for the holding elements is a high-strength, elastic adhesive, preferably a two-component adhesive, e.g. Adhesive PC 88 from Pittsburgh Corning AG.
  • a high-strength, elastic adhesive preferably a solvent-free two-component adhesive.
  • a hydraulically setting adhesive based on a plastic-modified bitumen emulsion in question, for example, the adhesive PC56 from Pittsburgh Corning AG.
  • Figure 1A shows an inventive insulating element 1, consisting of a cuboid block of heat-insulating material, in particular foam glass.
  • the block has a thickness D.
  • a holding element 2 is fixed, which serves as a suspension for a substructure for an outer wall cladding.
  • the mounting plane of the substructure is therefore in front of the Dämmelement Mrs.
  • the holding element 2 consists of a rail with a U-shaped cross-section.
  • the flat in the present case base 3 of the rail is applied to the surface of the Dämmelements 1, while their two legs 4 protrude with the leg length L in the material of the Dämmelements 1, in particular injected or pressed and bonded to the insulating element 1.
  • a substructure can be attached directly or via an intermediate console.
  • suitable engagement means such as holes, threads or mounting straps.
  • leg length L is substantially less than the thickness D D of the Dämmelements 1, between its upper and bottom, ie in the application between substructure and structure, no thermal bridges formed. The full insulation effect of Dämmelements 2 remains therefore.
  • the thickness D of the Dämmelements is typically between about 10 and 20 centimeters, preferably about 16 cm.
  • the retaining element 2 can extend over the entire length of the insulating element 1 or only over a part thereof; preferably it has a minimum length of 10-15 cm.
  • a holding element protrudes into this only up to a maximum of 50% of the thickness D of the insulating element 1.
  • the minimum distance of the holding element or any protruding parts, here the Leg 4 with the length L, from the side facing the supporting structure of the Dämmelements is about 7 cm, but the distance is preferably in the range of at least 7-14 cm.
  • FIG. 1B shows a single retaining element 2 'which can be mounted in a conventional insulating element 1'. It also consists of a cross-sectionally U-shaped rail with a base 3 'and two legs 4' perpendicular thereto. The edge of the legs 4 'is jagged for better driving into the material of the Dämmelements.
  • FIG. 2 shows two elements 5, 5 'for constructing a substructure.
  • the substructure consists of wood (wooden strip 5 ') or metal (T-rail 5). It is attached directly or with appropriate compensation brackets on the support elements.
  • element 5 ' is a perforated angle bracket 6.
  • Figure 3 shows schematically two different sized plates 7, 7 'of the outer wall cladding. They are mounted on the substructure.
  • Figure 4A-C shows a ventilated facade in three different assembly stages:
  • Figure 4A shows the structure 9 with glued insulation panels 8, 8 'and holding elements 12.
  • Figure 4B the substructure 16 is additionally mounted.
  • Figure 4C the outer wall panel 19 is attached to the substructure 16.
  • an insulating layer is glued and additionally mechanically secured with anchor elements 15. Before the full-surface application of the adhesive layer 10, the support 9 is optionally with a to the adhesive provided with an appropriate undercoat.
  • the insulating layer consists of a plurality of seamlessly laid insulating elements 8,8 '. The joints between the insulating elements 8, 8 'are also glued (adhesive layer 11).
  • Certain insulating elements 8 have on their side facing away from the supporting structure retaining elements 12 for fastening the substructure 16.
  • the holding elements 12 are supported with their base 13 on the surface of the insulating elements 8 and protrude with their legs 14 to a depth L in the insulating element 8.
  • the means of a suitable fastening means 17, e.g. a screw or a pin, anchored to the support members 12 substructure 16 is shown in Figs. 4B and 4C. Since the substructure 16 does not have to be supported on each insulating element, also insulating elements 8 'without holding elements are present.
  • the distance and the arrangement of the insulating elements 8 with retaining elements 12 is determined by the type of substructure, the clothing and by the static conditions of the structure, e.g. Wind pressure or suction, determined.
  • further holding elements 12 are installed on site.
  • the substructure 16 consists for example of a plurality of spaced-apart strips of wood or metal, one of which is shown in Fig. 4B and 4C in longitudinal section. They are laid at right angles to the orientation of the holding elements 12, wherein a bar is supported in each case by a plurality of holding elements 12.
  • the plates of the outer wall panel 19 are applied across the board. Due to the somewhat increased holding elements 12, a ventilation level 18 is formed between the substructure 16 and the insulating elements 8, 8 '.
  • the ventilation level 18 has in the area between two elements of the substructure 16 additionally the width of the element 16, so that a sufficient air circulation is ensured.
  • FIG. 5 shows the additional mechanical securing of the insulating elements 21, 21 'provided for special loads on the supporting structure 22 and with each other by means of an anchor element 20.
  • the anchor element consists of a sheet metal angle, one leg of which is bolted to the supporting structure 22. The other leg abuts against the insulating elements 21, 21 '. Perpendicular to the other leg up and down projecting tabs 23, 23 'engage in the material of the insulating elements 21, 21' and the overlying, not shown here Dämm institutenlage a.
  • the distance of the anchor elements 20 results from the static requirements of the facade.
