Definitions
- the present invention relates to a supporting device, in particular Mattress, upholstery element or spring base for this, with several at least provided in an area of the support device elastic Single support elements, the an approximately selective resolution of Effect support surface in terms of their spring characteristic, and several, associated with at least a portion of the individual support elements, optionally activatable adjusting elements for adjusting the spring properties, in particular the spring hardness and / or the spring travel of the individual support elements.
- the invention is based on the object, the adjustment of Support devices of the type mentioned to improve. In particular, should the individual adjustment can be facilitated.
- the adjusting elements in support devices with Single support elements arranged in columns and rows split or be activated together line by line. This is an adjustment created, as with conventional slatted frames on a Line across the entire width of the support surface acts.
- the adjustment function is thus not only easier for the user to carry out, but of The effect forth also easier to detect, since they with the previous experience matches with slatted frames.
- the adjusting elements can be permanently installed in the support device and This can be activated quickly and easily. You can, too be configured for activation only in the support device used. Thus, for example, the possibility can be created, the adjustment optionally used at different locations of the support surface bring to.
- the spring travel and / or spring hardening can according to one embodiment the invention be gradually adjustable. Already with two stages can created an effective and easy to handle adjustment become.
- the spring travel and / or spring hardening continuously adjustable over at least one area. This results in a particularly high variability of the spring properties created. Nevertheless, the adjustment remains due to the common adjustability of the individual support elements easy to handle.
- One way of changing the spring properties is to the adjusting elements for adjusting the spring hardness and / or the spring travel as adjustable externally to the individual support elements adjustable body train.
- These adjusting bodies are both in individual support elements with open form as well as with single support elements with closed Form can be used.
- the adjusting body can be elastic or rigid be educated. With elastic training change the applied Adjusting the spring hardness and thus the spring characteristic. At more rigid Training may additionally or alternatively the travel of the individual support elements to be changed.
- the adjustment can also as in the open Form of individual support elements insertable adjusting body can be formed.
- the adjusting body can be elastic or rigid be. With elastic configuration, the spring hardness changes again and thus the spring characteristic of the individual support elements. At more rigid Training changes the spring travel, the individual support elements can also be completely or partially blocked.
- the adjusting elements can each be designed to be displaceable be.
- the adjustment elements in line or Column direction or perpendicular to the spanned by these two directions Level, that is perpendicular to the support surface, adjustable be.
- Another possibility is to adjust the adjustment by twisting, in particular about an axis perpendicular to the support surface, or through Pivoting, in particular about an axis lying in the support surface, to activate.
- Another possibility is to adjust the adjustment by increasing the volume to activate.
- the activation of the adjustment takes place in particular mechanically. she but can also be done electrically, hydraulically or pneumatically. at mechanical adjustment are the jointly activatable adjusting elements connected by rods, shafts or similar means.
- the jointly activatable adjusting elements are preferably hydraulic or pneumatically connected to each other.
- the adjusting elements can in particular by material reinforcement act at least a portion of the individual support elements. For example elastic elements are applied to spring legs of the individual support elements, which are then deformed together with the respective spring leg.
- the adjusting elements can also be blocked by blocking at least one Part of the individual support elements act. In particular, in multi-stage Spring elements are blocked individual stages. So can one Three-stage spring characteristic in a two-stage or a two-stage in one one-stage spring characteristic can be adjusted.
- a single-stage spring characteristic can also be activated changed the adjusting elements in a two- or multi-stage spring characteristic become.
- a second annular spring element of lesser height are used and thereby form a second stage.
- the activated adjusting elements can also only from a certain Spring travel come into effect. So can with individual support elements with a plurality of juxtaposed annular spring elements individual annular spring elements in dependence on the Activation of the adjustment after a longer or shorter first Spring travel in function.
- Fig. 1 shows a trained as a base for a mattress invention Support device with a frame 1, the legs of the second a lying surface 3, over which a plurality of elastic Single support elements 4 is arranged distributed.
- the individual support elements 4 are arranged in rows and columns, wherein the rows parallel to the short legs 2 of the frame 1 and the Columns run perpendicular thereto.
- the individual support elements 4 include an annular spring body which on a base, for example a cross bar is supported and carries a flat support plate on which rests the mattress.
- the ring planes of the spring body 5 of the individual support elements 4 each extend perpendicular to the alignment of the rows. That way you can the spring body penetrated by a common adjusting rod 6 be in the transverse direction, ie parallel to the short sides 2 of Frame 1 is stored. In fact, here are only in the shoulder area 7 and arranged in the pelvic region 8 such adjustment rods 6, while the remaining areas 9 have no such adjustment rods. In principle, however, they can also be provided there.
- the adjusting rods 6 carry adjusting elements 10 and are in their longitudinal direction between a first position and a second position slidably guided.
- the adjusting elements 10 In the first position of the adjusting rods 6 shown in Fig. 1 are located the adjusting elements 10, each of which each a single support elements 4 is assigned, laterally adjacent to the associated annular Spring body 5 and have no influence on this.
- the adjusting elements 10 In the second Position which is achieved by longitudinal displacement of the adjusting rod 6, are the adjusting elements 10 within the annular spring body 5 and thereby influence its spring properties.
- the adjusting elements 10 may be formed as an elastic ring be, which rests on the inside of the annular spring body 5 and the Spring hardness thereby increased.
