Description

The present invention relates to a package with sealing edges and weakened zones as a tear-open from a film-shaped, multilayer composite material according to the preamble of claim 1 and a Method for producing the packaging, further means for producing the packaging and the use of the pack.

There are, for example, sealed edge pouches known for the packaging of powdery or solid contents are provided. Typical products can be found in the field of Foodstuffs, such as powdered instant coffee or chocolate toppings, Dairy foods, such as yoghurt, and the like. The packaging must contain the contents Protect mechanical, chemical and physical influences. That's why they are Packaging in many cases made of multi-layer packaging material, with individual Material layers or a material layer combination a specific protective function can be assigned. The packaging material, for example, must be tear-resistant. This conditionally very ductile or stretchable materials of high structural strength. The Opening a package made of such materials is difficult and is without Can not be done with the help of scissors or a knife. To make things easier Therefore, when opening without a tool, it will regularly tear open the packaging appropriate. A Anreißhilfe can, for example, a notch on the outer edge of the Be sealed seam. The material of such a package is very easy tear, when tearing through the bag wall, the direction of travel can not control more and the resulting opening is often incomplete or performs right through a side wall. The attachment of the marking aid must take place in the packaging machine. This reduces the operating speed of the packaging machine. In many cases one tries to remedy the disadvantages by having a tear strip between two Laying material layers is laid and by pulling the tear strip a division of Verpakkungsmaterials is reached. The resulting opening is clearly defined, but the manufacturing is This tearing aid consuming and leads to inflexible manufacturing processes.

Dabei sind die geschwächten Zonen in Form von Mikroporen ausgebildet.FR-A-2 717 449 discloses a package according to the preamble of claim 1 (see claim 1, page 5, line 15 to page 6, line 8, page 8, lines 15 to 32, page 10, Line 33 to page 11, line 9; Fig. 1 to 3). The weakened zones are in the form of Micropores formed.

EP-A-0 521 618 describes a bag package with weakened zones as a breakdown aid in at least one material layer outside the filling space in the form of not closer Defined discontinuities (see column 3, lines 41 to 55, Fig. 2 and 3).

Object of the present invention is to propose a package containing the contents protects as best as possible and still opens easily, but at the same time in a simple way and with the greatest possible freedom in terms of packaging design minimizes machine use.

According to the invention, this is achieved by a packaging having the features of claim 1.

Examples of packages according to the present invention are bags, such as flat bags, sealed edge bags, Space bag, stable bag or bag or bags, such as welded flat or pleated bags. The composite material has weakened zones in at least one layer of material of the composite material on. Preferably, the weakened zones are at the first material layer provided the composite material. It is also possible to weaken the zones at the second material layer or at the first and the second material layer of the composite material provided. In the latter case, it is advantageous that the weakened zones of the first material layer and the second material layer on the composite material are not superimposed, but offset from one another, are arranged. Weakened zones are according to the invention Cutting sequences or a variety of single cuts in parallel Arrangement. The cutting direction runs in the direction of travel. For example, you can the distances of the cuts 0.1 to 1mm, the length of the cuts 1 to 50 mm and the number of cuts per weakened zone can be 2 to 50. The weakened Zones can only be located above the filling space of a packaging or may be located above the fill space and remain within a sealed edge or side seam. The material layer or material layers with the weakened zones represents on a packaging advantageously an outward or outward-facing Layer of the composite material.

The present invention also relates to a method of attaching the weakened zones on the composite material according to the characterizing part of claim 7. The composite material is produced by the provision of the first Material situation, occasionally the one- or two-sided printing of the first material layer and simultaneously applying the weakened zones in the register. Suitable printing methods are for example book, offset, flexo, screen and copper gravure printing. Around Printing machine, before, between two color orders or after the ink application can weaken the first material situation. The weakened zones can be attached by attaching from weakening or severing. This can be mechanical, for example by knives, such as oscillating knives, mounted on a cylinder rotating Knife, punch or needles, etc. done. Other devices for attachment The weakened zones are high-energy radiations, such as laser beams or electron beams. Such methods usually lead to microperforations. The weakenings are stored in the register, i. synchronously, with the printing, on the first material layer appropriate. This allows a precise alignment of the weakening, simultaneously with the precise alignment of the printing on the packaging material. It is also possible, the weakening at the beginning or in the course of the ink application or before a if necessary, apply varnish or protective varnish. The weakening will then covered by the printing inks and / or the paint or protective varnish. This will u.a. a barrier effect against a mass transfer of moisture, gases, etc., for example achieved through the openings of a perforation or a cut. simultaneously The weakened zone can be stabilized with respect to tear strength without the wanted Complicating tearing up. Preferably, the pressure and Weakening process on continuous or roll goods continuously carried out the treatment of leaves or bow is also possible.

After the described process steps, the first material layer and the provided second material layer, preferably continuously, brought together and with each other connected. For example, the first material layer and the second material layer may be endless by laminating or by gluing the two layers of material by means of a Extrusionskaschieres or an adhesive are separated from each other. It For example, lacquer laminating adhesives, adhesion promoters and / or primers can be used become. Examples are also waxes, aqueous glues, and plastic dispersions High-pressure polyethylene layers as adhesives.

The second material layer may also be applied to the first material layer by coating or by extrusion, wherein under pressure and heat, a thermoplastic material, for example low-density polyethylene, is melted and pressed onto the one surface of the first material layer as a thin film. If the second material layer is a lacquer coating, the lacquers can be used as a second material layer in amounts of, for example, 0.5 to 50 g / m 2 , preferably 1.0 to 25 g / m 2 , for example by casting, spraying, knife coating, smoothing. Roller application, etc. are applied to the already provided with weakened zones first layer of material. The paints may be solvent-based and dried or cured by evaporation of the solvent or the paints may be curable by high-energy radiation. Examples of lacquers which may be used are those based on acrylate or methacrylate, or lacquers from the series comprising polyesters, epoxides, cellulose nitrates, polyvinyl chlorides, polyvinyl butyrals or mixtures thereof.

The composite material thus produced can, for example in endless or roll form, in introduced a packaging machine and used for packaging of products. Due to the inventive manufacturing process are the printing and the weakened zones on the composite material in a fixed position relative to one another. High-quality packaging units are characterized by the fact that the pressure always in accordance with the size of the packaging and the contents always positioned the same. This is when using existing composite material the weakened zones in accordance with the printing always in the same place with every packaging unit. Typical packaging units are in plan view, for example polygonal and in particular rectangular. In cross-section, the Verpakkungseinheiten be round or polygonal and in particular rectangular.
