Definitions

  • the invention relates to a doormat for outdoor and indoor areas, in particular as a composite construction for flooring, with a plurality of parallel and spaced apart and on its upper side with bristles, carpet strips and / or the like stocked profile elements by detachable from the latter elastic connecting elements (mat connector) separable connected to each other, on which the profile elements with its lower surface at least partially rest and having a non-slip bottom surface and from its opposite upper surface upwardly extending, mutually spaced support members which engage in openings provided on the lower surface of adjacent profile elements openings such that the adjacent Profile elements are detachably connected with each other at a distance.
  • the profile elements of such floor mats may be made of metal, e.g. Aluminum or brass, PVC or rubber formed, provided with a dirt scraper and boundary strips for the bristle and / or carpet strips and / or added to roll-up systems. Such a floor mat is known from document US Pat. No. 5,486,392.
  • This doormat can be easily and flexibly adapted to the required dimensions of the desired flooring for outdoor and indoor areas by the profile elements simply and quickly added by means of the detachable mat connector to the doormat or be separated from this.
  • the doormat is relatively easy to clean and it can be rolled up to remove the accumulated dirt under the doormat. Due to the one-piece nature of the mat profile connecting the adjacent profile elements, however, a relatively large expenditure of force is required for rolling up the doormat.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object, a floor mat for outdoor and indoor areas of the type described above, in particular as a composite construction for flooring, while maintaining their benefits to the effect that their rollability is improved while increasing the stability of the doormat.
  • each connecting element has three mutually parallel plate-like parts which are hingedly connected to each other at their adjacent longitudinal edges, wherein the middle part are formed of a relatively soft plastic and the two outer parts of a relatively hard plastic that the profiled elements adjacent to one another with their lower surface partially rest only on the upper surface of the associated outer part, from which an abutment element with a barb-shaped cross-sectional profile extending over the length of the latter extends upwards into an abutment groove formed on the lower surface of the associated profiled element and in this is supported, that the central part of the connecting element bridging the distance between the adjacent profile elements between the gegenradab lying lower longitudinal edges of the profile elements is arranged and centrally has a vertically standing on its upper surface and extending over its length stabilizing element whose upper longitudinal edges in the plane of the upper surfaces of the profile elements are spaced therefrom, and that the outer parts with respect are pivotable downwards or upwards into a position in which the lower surfaces of the mutually adjacent profile elements connected to the outer parts of the
  • the connecting elements are made in one piece and the hinges formed between the middle part and the outer parts by material dilutions and / or perforations.
  • the connecting elements are advantageously manufactured by the meter in the injection molding process and tailored to the length of the profile elements tailored.
  • the floor mat according to the invention can be easily and flexibly adapted to the required dimensions of the desired floor covering for exterior and interior areas by the profile elements, which are also e.g.
  • the shape of square tiles can have, depending on your needs by means of the detachable mat connector attached to the doormat easy and fast and can be separated from this.
  • the presence of the mat connector proves to be by the meter, which can be cut lengthwise according to the length of the profile elements used, as particularly favorable.
  • the floor mat according to the invention is very stable and can be relatively easily cleaned. Due to the three-part elastic mat connectors, the doormat can be rolled up very well, e.g. to remove the accumulated dirt under the doormat.
  • the special design of the support elements of the connecting elements ensures a secure and stable attachment of the adjacent profile elements on the outer parts of the connecting elements and at the same time sufficient movement when rolling the doormat.
  • the stabilizing elements of the connecting elements allow simple and accurate alignment of the profiled elements, limit pivoting of adjacent profiled elements upward and at the same time convey the impression of a seamless floor mat surface.
  • the fasteners are suitable for quick and easy connection of floor coverings of any shape in floor plan as well as treads on machine or other workstations.
  • Fig. 1 shows an end view of a first embodiment of the floor mat for outdoor and indoor areas, go four mutually parallel profile elements 1 with a non-slip bottom surface 7, which are arranged at a distance from each other and separable by releasable elastic connecting elements 2 are interconnected.
  • the possible assembly 3 of the upper surface 4 of the profile elements 1 with bristles, carpet strips and / or the like is not shown schematically in FIG. 1 but in FIG. 2, which shows an enlarged detail A of two adjacent profile elements 1 of the first embodiment of the floor mat Fig. 1 shows.
  • the profile elements 1 have on the upper surface 4 in the vicinity of their longitudinal sides 5 in each case a parallel to the latter boundary strip 6, which also serves as Schmutzkratzer, for the assembly 3 and, as Figs. 1 and 2 illustrate, two abutment grooves 10, the each extending from the lower surface 7 of the profile elements 1 vertically in the body 8 in the longitudinal plane 9 of each boundary bar 6 in and extend over the length of the profile element 1.
  • each elastic connecting element 2 has three mutually parallel plate-like parts 11, 12, 13 which are hingedly connected to each other, the middle part 12 of a relatively soft plastic such as TPE and the both outer parts 11 and 13 of a relatively hard plastic such as H. PVC are formed.
  • a respective support member 15 extends with a barb-shaped cross-sectional profile in one of the associated abutment grooves 10 of the adjacent profile elements 1, each with its lower surface 7 partially on the upper surface 14 of the associated
  • the support member 15 is held securely in the abutment groove 10 and with play and releasably detachable if necessary.
  • the middle part 12 of the connecting element 2 bridges the distance 16 between the mutually adjacent profile elements 1 and is arranged between the opposing lower longitudinal edges 17 of the profile elements 1.
  • the thickness of the outer parts 11 and 13 and the central part 12 of the connecting element 2 is approximately equal, and the hinges 18 between the middle part 12 and the two outer parts 11 and 13 are formed by material dilutions.
  • the middle part 12 of the connecting element 2 has centrally on its upper surface 19 vertically standing and extending over its length stabilizing element 20, the upper longitudinal edges 21 are in the plane 22 of the upper surfaces 4 of the mutually adjacent profile elements 1 spaced therefrom.
  • the outer parts 11 and 13 are in relation to the central part 12 of the connecting element 2 downwardly or upwardly pivoted into a position in which connected to the outer parts 11 and 13 of the connecting element 2 lower surfaces 7 of the mutually adjacent profile elements 1 are opposite to each other or in which the mutually adjacent profile elements 1 come with their opposite longitudinal sides 5 at the upper longitudinal edges 21 of the stabilizing element 20 of the central part 12 of the connecting element 2 to the stop (Fig. 3).
  • the stabilizing element 20 Seen in cross-section, the stabilizing element 20, as best seen in Fig. 2, a from the central part 12 of the connecting element 2 extending vertically upwards first section 23 and at the level of the lower third of the latter in each case a reinforcing rib 24 which protrudes so far perpendicular from the associated longitudinal side 25 of the first portion 23, that in each case an equal distance 26 is maintained to the adjacent profile element 1.
  • the profile element 1 opposite surface 27 of each reinforcing rib 24 extends upward under a directed to the first portion 23 of the stabilizing element 20 tilt and forms at a pivoting of the outer parts 11 and 13 of the connecting element 2 up by 15 ° a stop for the adjacent profile element 1, as Fig. 3 shows.
  • the upper longitudinal edge 21 is arranged in the plane 22 of the upper surface 4 of the profile element 1 spaced therefrom.
  • the mirror-image second sections 29 of the stabilizing element 20 are shaped such that the upper surface 30 formed by them is planar.
