Die stetig höher werdenden Kraftstoffförderdrücke bei Einzeleinspritzpumpen erfordern Maßnahmen zur fortdauernden Gewährleistung der Betriebssicherheit. So ist es erforderlich, die Kraftstoffzuführung in dem Pumpenzylinder von genau gegenüberliegenden Seiten quer zur Bewegungsrichtung des Pumpenplungers in den Pumpenhochdruckraum (15) einmünden zu lassen.
