Definitions

  • the invention relates to an overhead tilt gate according to the preamble of appended claim 1, as is known from DE 92 02 302 U1.
  • the invention also relates to a method for producing, transporting and assembling such a tilting gate.
  • Such a tilting gate of the type described in DE 92 02 302 U1 does not swing in the course of its movement out of the door opening to be closed, in contrast to a swinging gate which is provided with a comparable door leaf but a door leaf guide acting via lever.
  • the difference is that the (single) door leaf of the up-and-over door is (in one piece) panel-like and not formed by several panels hinged to one another.
  • the door leaf of the tilting gate thus tilts as a whole from its closed to the open position and vice versa.
  • up-and-over doors there is the advantage that the space in front of the opening to be closed can be used, similar to the case with sectional doors. But tilting gates are much cheaper to manufacture and assemble than sectional gates.
  • a disadvantage of up-and-over doors is the difficult coupling of a commercially available door drive, because these door drives are mainly designed in such a way that they have a driver which is guided horizontally above the door and which is to be coupled to the door leaf.
  • This driver therefore provides a substantially horizontally acting force at the upper end of the door leaf for opening and closing, which force can also be used to open the door.
  • the door leaf In the open position, however, the door leaf is in an essentially horizontal position, and when a horizontal closing force is imposed, it is only moved forward, but not downward. Therefore, aids must be provided by means of which the door leaf is tilted from its open position to the closed position.
  • tilting gates have already been seen in various offers on the market, in which the respective first guide rails arranged on the left and right of the door frame are very straight and extend along their entire length extend substantially in the vertical direction. This is also sufficient for manual operation, since you can then pull the bottom of the door leaf in the open position manually to tilt it. If, however, a conventional door drive is coupled to such a door leaf, a complex, space-consuming and heavy, for example, arc-shaped adapter between the door leaf and the door drive driver is necessary, by means of which the door leaf can automatically be tilted from its essentially horizontal position when the closing movement begins.
  • the first guide rail has a substantially vertically arranged lower section.
  • the upper section is arranged at the place of use of the tilting gate in an operating position such that it supports and / or enables an initial tilting of the door leaf from the open position due to a closing force that is exerted essentially horizontally on the door leaf in the direction of the closed position.
  • an expensive tilting adapter can be avoided, because the task of tilting the door leaf from its essentially horizontal position when the closing movement begins is arranged by the first, for the most part to be arranged vertically in the upper section for a supporting or tilting. otherwise trained guide rail on which the lower area of the door leaf is guided.
  • This can be done concretely, for example, in that the upper section of this first guide rail, on which the door leaf is guided near its closed position, is designed to be correspondingly curved or inclined, so that the horizontal closing force imposed on the door leaf is directed to a downward inclined plane or a downward curve works to push the lower area of the door leaf down.
  • the guide rails are almost always in pairs, namely a first and a second guide rail assigned to each door leaf vertical side, present and located on the frame for transport.
  • the second guide rails which can be arranged vertically at the top, can already be hinged to the upper door frame area at the factory and folded flat against the door frame for transport.
  • the door leaf can already be preassembled lying in the frame, for which purpose the first guide rails can already be fastened, preferably welded, to the frame rails which are to be arranged vertically - hereinafter referred to as vertical frame rails.
  • the upper and the lower section of the first guide rail are connected to one another so that they can be bent or pivoted.
  • This has the effect that the two sections are already preassembled for transport, for example can be produced in this form in the same way, the upper section at the installation location only being bent or pivoted from its transport position into its operating position (a hinge would also be conceivable) and may also need to be specified there.
  • a tilting gate of the type mentioned at the outset can be adapted to automatic operation in a manner which is easy to handle in terms of production, transport and assembly technology and inexpensive.
  • spring systems with torsion or tension springs are standard.
  • Attempts have been made over the years to optimize the door leaf weight compensation systems for use with up-and-over doors, which has only met with moderate success.
  • the weight balance was only optimal in a small range of movement, with either too much or too little force being exerted on the door leaf in the remaining movement sections.
  • this u. a. has led to the compulsion to use quite powerful and therefore expensive or slow door drives and that this constraint can be avoided if the type of door leaf weight compensation system is carefully selected.
  • a door leaf weight compensation device is used with a counterweight connected to the door leaf via a traction means, the door leaf can be optimally balanced. It then only needs a minimal, almost constant force on most of its movement path. This is based on the knowledge that a tilting gate requires an essentially constant force over the majority of its movement path despite its tilting movement between the horizontal and the vertical.
  • springs work according to Hooke's law, i.e. with increasing or decreasing force, which has led to the necessity of over-dimensioning or geared adjustment of gate operators for up-and-over doors.
  • the two sections of the first guide rail are designed as partial sections of a guide rail made in one piece that can be bent relative to one another.
  • a predetermined kink is formed by material removal.
  • the upper section is still aligned with the lower one. After assembly, it snaps into its operating position.
  • the formation of one or more middle sections between the upper and lower section would also be conceivable, as a result of which a multiple kink or bend and several slopes can be formed on the first guide rail in the operating position.
  • the first guide rail is guided by a first running rail for guiding one on the lower region of the door leaf. in particular near or at a lower door leaf corner - arranged lower roller, wherein preferably the second guide rail is formed by a substantially horizontally arranged second slide for guiding a second roller laterally arranged on the upper region of the door leaf - in particular near an upper door leaf corner.
  • the first running rail is slotted in order to bring the upper section out of its transport position into the operating position by kinking at this slot , wherein preferably the slot ends in a bore on a side wall of the first running rail only for the most part.
  • a C-shaped profile, which encompasses the rollers, has proven to be particularly safe for tracks on garage doors and has been implemented by the applicant as standard.
  • the first running rail has a J-shaped profile, i.e. a profile with two legs and a web connecting them, wherein one leg is designed as a U-profile leg and the other leg as a C-profile leg.
  • the side wall with the bore and the slot is formed by the web, the slot being e.g. extends conically from the hole through the C-leg and most of the web, i.e. the bore is preferably provided near the U-leg in the web.
  • the U-leg preferably remains unslotted and is a simple strip of material, e.g. Sheet steel strip, due to its structure suitable for relatively easy kinking.
  • the production includes can be optimized in terms of costs using a one-part strategy.
  • the upper and lower rollers are mounted on the door leaf by identically designed roller holders.
  • the roller holder are formed in a particularly simple and cost-effective manner by U profiles, the legs of which have bearing openings for being penetrated by roller axles and whose web has fastening openings for fastening the roller holder to the door leaf.
  • some modifications are planned in order to adapt them equally to the respective requirements.
  • each leg of each roller holder has two bearing openings arranged offset from one another and that the fastening openings in the web of the roller holder are preferably designed such that the roller holder is fastened when used as a bearing for the upper roller both on an upper frame vertical spar and on an upper frame horizontal spar of a door leaf frame reinforcing the door leaf and an attachment of the roller holder when used as storage of the lower roller on a lower frame vertical spar and / or on a lower frame horizontal spar of the door leaf frame is made possible.
  • the roller holders are preferably mirror-symmetrical to their longitudinal axis.
  • the transport position is preferably such that the upper section of the first guide rail is arranged for transport together with that parallel to a frame vertical spar the lower section of the first guide rail is arranged in a plane parallel to the door frame, is preferably prefixed to it. At the installation location, it can then be brought into the operating position, in which it can be fixed (e.g. permanently) from this level.
  • the upper section curved, in particular arc-shaped courses are also conceivable for the first guide rail, but this entails a relatively high production outlay. Manufacturing is easier, for example by simple profiling, if the two or more sections of the first guide rail are designed as straight sections. For the operating position, the upper section is then inclined so as to protrude relative to the lower section from the plane parallel to the door frame in the direction in which the second guide rail runs away from the door frame.
  • the fixing means preferably have a first fastening device for fastening the lower end of the upper section of the first guide rail to the upper end of the lower section of the first guide rail and / or to the door frame and / or a second fastening device for fastening the upper end of the upper section the first guide rail on the second guide rail and / or indirectly or directly on the door frame.
  • the first fastening device further preferably has a fastening plate fastened to the door frame or the lower section - preferably to the door frame and the lower section - in particular (already preassembled by the door manufacturer), which is provided with an opening or recess in such a way that an fasteners attacking the upper section, such as rivets, screws, etc., can only be fastened through this opening or recess when the upper section is in the operating position.
  • the fitter only needs to bring the upper section into the fastening position, which he recognizes by the fact that the fastener can now be inserted and fixed, for example due to the corresponding openings becoming flush. This simplifies assembly, and assembly errors are avoided.
  • the second fastening device further preferably comprises a fastener opening in the second guide rail which, when the upper section is brought into operation, can be made to overlap with a fastener opening near the upper end of the upper section, preferably to compensate for manufacturing tolerances, inaccuracies in the kinking or pivoting, etc. at least one of the corresponding fastening openings is designed as an elongated hole.
  • the fixing means have an indirect or direct form fit between the upper section and the lower section and / or between the upper section and the door frame that can only be engaged in the operating position.
  • the positive connection is formed in the region of the first fastening device between the fastening plate and the lower section by forming a recess on one of the two parts and a corresponding elevation on the other of these two parts, the elevation preferably being designed to accommodate a
  • the countersunk head of the fastener is formed in a suitable recess on the edge of an opening for receiving the fastener in the relevant part on its side facing away from the countersunk head.
  • the traction means has a pulley system, a static deflection roller being intended for arrangement preferably at the end of the upper section fixed in the operating position and fastened at the top.
  • a high level of security against tearing of the traction device at relatively low cost can be achieved in that the traction device comprises a double rope or also more than two ropes, preferably by balancing the ropes which are guided essentially in parallel by a rope rocker.
  • Double rope is not understood here to mean that there is a single rope for engaging on a left side of the door leaf and a single rope for engaging on a right side of the door leaf, rather a pulley block with weight is provided in a preferred embodiment, whereby each pulley has two parallel ropes (two-strand traction means) that are guided over deflection pulleys with double running surfaces, are hinged to the door leaf at one end and hang at the other end like a bowden cable in a balancing rocker that attaches to one-sided loads or extensions due to signs of aging, etc. balances one of the two ropes.

Description

The invention relates to an overhead tilt gate according to the preamble of appended claim 1, as is known from DE 92 02 302 U1. The invention also relates to a method for producing, transporting and assembling such a tilting gate.

Such a tilting gate of the type described in DE 92 02 302 U1 does not swing in the course of its movement out of the door opening to be closed, in contrast to a swinging gate which is provided with a comparable door leaf but a door leaf guide acting via lever. Compared to a sectional door, the difference is that the (single) door leaf of the up-and-over door is (in one piece) panel-like and not formed by several panels hinged to one another. The door leaf of the tilting gate thus tilts as a whole from its closed to the open position and vice versa. Compared to up-and-over doors, there is the advantage that the space in front of the opening to be closed can be used, similar to the case with sectional doors. But tilting gates are much cheaper to manufacture and assemble than sectional gates.

A disadvantage of up-and-over doors is the difficult coupling of a commercially available door drive, because these door drives are mainly designed in such a way that they have a driver which is guided horizontally above the door and which is to be coupled to the door leaf. This driver therefore provides a substantially horizontally acting force at the upper end of the door leaf for opening and closing, which force can also be used to open the door. In the open position, however, the door leaf is in an essentially horizontal position, and when a horizontal closing force is imposed, it is only moved forward, but not downward. Therefore, aids must be provided by means of which the door leaf is tilted from its open position to the closed position.

For manual operation, tilting gates have already been seen in various offers on the market, in which the respective first guide rails arranged on the left and right of the door frame are very straight and extend along their entire length extend substantially in the vertical direction.

At the same time, however, with such tilting gates, the focus is also on economy, which also includes keeping manufacturing, transport and assembly costs low. Custom-made door drives and adapters should be avoided.

In the tilting gate described in DE 92 02 302 U1 of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1, it is provided that the first guide rail has a substantially vertically arranged lower section. The upper section is arranged at the place of use of the tilting gate in an operating position such that it supports and / or enables an initial tilting of the door leaf from the open position due to a closing force that is exerted essentially horizontally on the door leaf in the direction of the closed position.

Accordingly, an expensive tilting adapter can be avoided, because the task of tilting the door leaf from its essentially horizontal position when the closing movement begins is arranged by the first, for the most part to be arranged vertically in the upper section for a supporting or tilting. otherwise trained guide rail on which the lower area of the door leaf is guided. This can be done concretely, for example, in that the upper section of this first guide rail, on which the door leaf is guided near its closed position, is designed to be correspondingly curved or inclined, so that the horizontal closing force imposed on the door leaf is directed to a downward inclined plane or a downward curve works to push the lower area of the door leaf down.

Based on this prior art, it is an object of the invention to make a tilting gate of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 easier and cheaper to handle during transport and assembly. In addition, a simpler and less expensive manufacturing, transport and assembly process for this is to be created. This task is solved by an overhead tilt gate with the features of claim 1 or a method with the steps of claim 23.

So far, one of the advantages of single-leaf overhead gates has been, including tilting and swing gates. that they were relatively easy to assemble to a high degree and yet could be packed very flat for transport. The guide rails are almost always in pairs, namely a first and a second guide rail assigned to each door leaf vertical side, present and located on the frame for transport. The second guide rails, which can be arranged vertically at the top, can already be hinged to the upper door frame area at the factory and folded flat against the door frame for transport. The door leaf can already be preassembled lying in the frame, for which purpose the first guide rails can already be fastened, preferably welded, to the frame rails which are to be arranged vertically - hereinafter referred to as vertical frame rails. In the case of the above-mentioned tilting gates designed for manual operation, a very flat, preassembled door package was therefore available due to the straight design of the first guide rails, many of which found space next to one another on a pallet for transport. If you now produce the first guide rail bent or kinked, you either lose a good amount of pre-assembly or transport capacity, since the kinked part would stand away from the door frame when the guide rail was welded on. In the present invention, this problem has been recognized for the first time and has been eliminated in that the guide rail is divided into two sections, of which the lower section is further preassembled in any way, for example can be welded firmly to the vertical frame spar. However, the upper section is designed such that it can be in a space-saving position for transport, from which it can be brought into the operating position at the place of use and fixed there.

According to the invention, it is provided that the upper and the lower section of the first guide rail are connected to one another so that they can be bent or pivoted. This has the effect that the two sections are already preassembled for transport, for example can be produced in this form in the same way, the upper section at the installation location only being bent or pivoted from its transport position into its operating position (a hinge would also be conceivable) and may also need to be specified there.

Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

Another aspect with which a tilting gate of the type mentioned at the outset can be adapted to automatic operation in a manner which is easy to handle in terms of production, transport and assembly technology and inexpensive is the selection of the door leaf weight compensation system. Almost every door to be moved overhead has such a system, whereby spring systems with torsion or tension springs are standard. Attempts have been made over the years to optimize the door leaf weight compensation systems for use with up-and-over doors, which has only met with moderate success. As a result, the weight balance was only optimal in a small range of movement, with either too much or too little force being exerted on the door leaf in the remaining movement sections. In the invention it has been recognized for the first time that this u. a. has led to the compulsion to use quite powerful and therefore expensive or slow door drives and that this constraint can be avoided if the type of door leaf weight compensation system is carefully selected.

If - as proposed in an advantageous embodiment of the invention - a door leaf weight compensation device is used with a counterweight connected to the door leaf via a traction means, the door leaf can be optimally balanced. It then only needs a minimal, almost constant force on most of its movement path. This is based on the knowledge that a tilting gate requires an essentially constant force over the majority of its movement path despite its tilting movement between the horizontal and the vertical. However, springs work according to Hooke's law, i.e. with increasing or decreasing force, which has led to the necessity of over-dimensioning or geared adjustment of gate operators for up-and-over doors. It is particularly preferred that the two sections of the first guide rail are designed as partial sections of a guide rail made in one piece that can be bent relative to one another. This can then be made in one piece, with z at the transition point between the upper and lower sections. B. a predetermined kink is formed by material removal. For transport, the upper section is still aligned with the lower one. After assembly, it snaps into its operating position. In principle, the formation of one or more middle sections between the upper and lower section would also be conceivable, as a result of which a multiple kink or bend and several slopes can be formed on the first guide rail in the operating position.

For smooth and easy running, it is preferred that the first guide rail is guided by a first running rail for guiding one on the lower region of the door leaf. in particular near or at a lower door leaf corner - arranged lower roller, wherein preferably the second guide rail is formed by a substantially horizontally arranged second slide for guiding a second roller laterally arranged on the upper region of the door leaf - in particular near an upper door leaf corner.

To form the above-described embodiment with a one-piece, but preferably simple, snap-off design of the upper and lower sections, it is then preferred that the first running rail is slotted in order to bring the upper section out of its transport position into the operating position by kinking at this slot , wherein preferably the slot ends in a bore on a side wall of the first running rail only for the most part.

A C-shaped profile, which encompasses the rollers, has proven to be particularly safe for tracks on garage doors and has been implemented by the applicant as standard.

In order to make it possible to bend, however, it is preferred in the invention that the first running rail has a J-shaped profile, i.e. a profile with two legs and a web connecting them, wherein one leg is designed as a U-profile leg and the other leg as a C-profile leg. In the slotted version, the side wall with the bore and the slot is formed by the web, the slot being e.g. extends conically from the hole through the C-leg and most of the web, i.e. the bore is preferably provided near the U-leg in the web. The U-leg preferably remains unslotted and is a simple strip of material, e.g. Sheet steel strip, due to its structure suitable for relatively easy kinking.

The production includes can be optimized in terms of costs using a one-part strategy. For this purpose, it is preferred, for example, that the upper and lower rollers are mounted on the door leaf by identically designed roller holders. The roller holder are formed in a particularly simple and cost-effective manner by U profiles, the legs of which have bearing openings for being penetrated by roller axles and whose web has fastening openings for fastening the roller holder to the door leaf. In order to be able to use the roller holder both at the top and at the bottom of the door, some modifications are planned in order to adapt them equally to the respective requirements. For example, the door leaf weight is largely borne by the upper rollers, which are guided in the substantially vertical, preferably C-shaped profiled second rails, so that a particularly strong attachment is advantageous for the upper bearing rollers. Accordingly, it is preferred that, for an optional mounting of an upper or a lower roller, each leg of each roller holder has two bearing openings arranged offset from one another and that the fastening openings in the web of the roller holder are preferably designed such that the roller holder is fastened when used as a bearing for the upper roller both on an upper frame vertical spar and on an upper frame horizontal spar of a door leaf frame reinforcing the door leaf and an attachment of the roller holder when used as storage of the lower roller on a lower frame vertical spar and / or on a lower frame horizontal spar of the door leaf frame is made possible. For optional use on the right or left side of the door leaf, the roller holders are preferably mirror-symmetrical to their longitudinal axis.

The transport position is preferably such that the upper section of the first guide rail is arranged for transport together with that parallel to a frame vertical spar the lower section of the first guide rail is arranged in a plane parallel to the door frame, is preferably prefixed to it. At the installation location, it can then be brought into the operating position, in which it can be fixed (e.g. permanently) from this level.

It is true that, in particular for the upper section, curved, in particular arc-shaped courses are also conceivable for the first guide rail, but this entails a relatively high production outlay.

All those means which are conceivable on site at a construction site for material connection can be considered as fixing means. In principle, welds would also be conceivable, but these can only be installed by fitters with relatively great effort, errors being difficult to correct. Fasteners such as screw fasteners, rivets, jams, plug connections, latches etc. are more suitable. In this way, the fixing means preferably have a first fastening device for fastening the lower end of the upper section of the first guide rail to the upper end of the lower section of the first guide rail and / or to the door frame and / or a second fastening device for fastening the upper end of the upper section the first guide rail on the second guide rail and / or indirectly or directly on the door frame. The first fastening device further preferably has a fastening plate fastened to the door frame or the lower section - preferably to the door frame and the lower section - in particular (already preassembled by the door manufacturer), which is provided with an opening or recess in such a way that an fasteners attacking the upper section, such as rivets, screws, etc., can only be fastened through this opening or recess when the upper section is in the operating position. At the installation site, the fitter only needs to bring the upper section into the fastening position, which he recognizes by the fact that the fastener can now be inserted and fixed, for example due to the corresponding openings becoming flush. This simplifies assembly, and assembly errors are avoided. The second fastening device further preferably comprises a fastener opening in the second guide rail which, when the upper section is brought into operation, can be made to overlap with a fastener opening near the upper end of the upper section, preferably to compensate for manufacturing tolerances, inaccuracies in the kinking or pivoting, etc. at least one of the corresponding fastening openings is designed as an elongated hole.

In addition or as an alternative to the definition of the operating position via the fastening opening and fastener, it is further preferably provided that the fixing means have an indirect or direct form fit between the upper section and the lower section and / or between the upper section and the door frame that can only be engaged in the operating position. In an advantageous embodiment, the positive connection is formed in the region of the first fastening device between the fastening plate and the lower section by forming a recess on one of the two parts and a corresponding elevation on the other of these two parts, the elevation preferably being designed to accommodate a The countersunk head of the fastener is formed in a suitable recess on the edge of an opening for receiving the fastener in the relevant part on its side facing away from the countersunk head.

In a further development of the door leaf weight compensation device, it is provided that the traction means has a pulley system, a static deflection roller being intended for arrangement preferably at the end of the upper section fixed in the operating position and fastened at the top. A high level of security against tearing of the traction device at relatively low cost can be achieved in that the traction device comprises a double rope or also more than two ropes, preferably by balancing the ropes which are guided essentially in parallel by a rope rocker. "Double rope" is not understood here to mean that there is a single rope for engaging on a left side of the door leaf and a single rope for engaging on a right side of the door leaf, rather a pulley block with weight is provided in a preferred embodiment, whereby each pulley has two parallel ropes (two-strand traction means) that are guided over deflection pulleys with double running surfaces, are hinged to the door leaf at one end and hang at the other end like a bowden cable in a balancing rocker that attaches to one-sided loads or extensions due to signs of aging, etc. balances one of the two ropes.

The counterweight is preferably formed by a container for receiving bulk goods, such as preferably scrap or scrap. This has the environmental aspect that the scrap produced can be reused or recycled without aftertreatment. becomes.

Depending on the progress of the movement, tilting gates hit a possible obstacle with a different angle of inclination, with the effect that the same resistance forces on the obstacle cause different resistance forces on the drive. Now, in many gate operators, these resistances encountering the operator are detected on or by the operator itself for safety shutdown, which, due to the diversity just explained, can lead to undesirable results here. A further development is therefore characterized by a, in particular deformable, sensor strip on the lower edge of the door leaf, which is designed and arranged in such a way that, in each closing movement phase, it first encounters an obstacle located in the course of the door leaf and detects it for switching off a door drive that drives the door leaf. For example, this sensor strip comprises a light barrier between the two ends, with a deformation of the strip causing the light beam to be interrupted.

The door leaf does not swing out of the plane of the door opening to be closed, as is the case with an up-and-over door. When the closing tilting movement begins, however, the lower edge of the door leaf, which is located in the essentially horizontal open position, moves forward between the two frame vertical bars, where it is then moved downwards when the door is closed. So that it is not due to any circumstances, e.g. a funnel-like guide is provided for the lower edge of the door leaf, which ensures that the lower edge of the door leaf always comes cleanly between the vertical frame rails, only in the course of the life of the door when the door leaf strikes a frame vertical bar. To form the same, it is preferred that bevels leading to the corners are provided on the lower end face (lower narrow side) of the door leaf, in particular formed by plastic attachments, for centering the closing door leaf in the door frame and / or for preventing the door from tilting closing door leaf on the frame vertical bars.

A tilting gate 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a door frame 2 with a pair of associated first guide rails, designed as running rails for running rollers, of which only one right first running rail 3 seen from the outside of the tilting gate 1 is shown, a pair in the form of second ones Running rails formed second guide rails, of which only a right second running rail 4 is also indicated, a door leaf 5 and a door leaf weight compensation device 6.

The door frame 2 consists, in a manner known per se, of vertical frame bars 7 to be arranged vertically to the left and right and an upper horizontal frame bar 8 to be arranged horizontally. In the area of the upper frame horizontal bar (8) the second rails 4 are in a manner known per se, for example in the case of up-and-over doors, for transport parallel to Door frame 2 hinged and in the operating position articulated in the indicated horizontal position for setting in this position.

The door leaf 5 is formed in one piece in the form of a plate with a door leaf frame 9 which is formed by vertical and horizontal door leaf frame bars 10 and 11 formed from sheet steel profiles. To guide a lower area 12 of the door leaf 5 13 bearing roller holders 14 are fastened to both lower door leaf corners, on which lower rollers 15 are mounted. These lower bearing rollers 15 are guided in the first guide rails 3 fastened to the left and right of the frame vertical bars 7. The first rails 3 are locked in the position and shape suitable for operation by means of fixing means, which will be discussed in more detail later.

The bearing roller holder 14 are formed in a manner not shown by a U-shaped (steel) sheet, the two U-legs 16 are provided with opposing first roller bearing openings 17 for storing the lower rollers 15 and with second roller bearing openings 18, on the will be discussed in more detail below.

The U-web is in a manner not shown with fastener openings for fastening by means of screw fasteners in the position shown in the lower region of FIG. 1 and in FIG. 2 on the lower region 12 of the door leaf 5, specifically on the frame horizontal spar 10 as well the frame vertical spar 11 provided. Near a first end - the end pointing towards the lower edge of the door leaf - the U-profile, which forms the roller holder 14, is provided on its U-legs 16 with a step-shaped recess 19.

The same bearing roller holder 14 also serves, as the upper region of FIG. 1 shows, for storing upper rollers 19 near the two upper door leaf corners 20, the upper rollers 19 being guided in the second rails 4, around an upper door leaf region 21 for carrying out a To perform tilting movement between the closed position of the door leaf (indicated in the lower region of FIG. 1) and an open position of the door leaf (indicated in the upper region of FIG. 1). The door leaf 5 is in the closed position in a substantially vertical position and tilts in the course of its opening movement into the open position, in which the door leaf 5 is still slightly inclined with respect to the horizontal, but is nevertheless arranged essentially horizontally (as in FIG. 1 is shown). To enable a correct closed position, the lower rollers 15 are arranged closer to the door leaf than the upper rollers 19. Therefore, the upper rollers 19 are not accommodated in the first roller bearing openings 17, but in those of them, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is shown, offset second roller bearing openings 18 mounted.

To compensate for the door leaf weight during its opening and closing movement, the door leaf weight compensation device 6 is provided. This has a pulling means 22 and a counterweight 23 on each side of the gate.

The traction means 22 is formed by a double rope formed from two wire ropes 27, 28, which two wire ropes 27, 28 are fastened with loops (not shown) on the roller axis of the lower rollers 15 on the door leaf 5, then in a pulley-like manner via a first, on the second The guide rail 3 has a stationary guide roller 24 and is guided around a second guide roller 25 mounted on the counterweight 23 to a cable rocker 26 which is also articulated on the second guide rail 3. The two steel cables 27, 28 of the traction means 22 run parallel in the area between the lower region 12 of the door leaf via the first deflecting roller 24 to the second deflecting roller 25, the two deflecting rollers 24, 25 acting as double rollers for the cables 27, 28 loaded in parallel are trained. This parallelism is eliminated between the second deflection roller 25 and the cable rocker 26 in such a way that the two cables 27 and 28 are suspended on the cable rocker 26 in the manner of a Bowden cable on the left and right of the pivot axis 29, about which the cable rocker 26 can be pivoted.

The counterweight 23 is formed by a container made of steel tubing, which in the exemplary embodiment shown is cuboid and elongated in the vertical direction. The second deflection roller is mounted in the middle at the upper end on an axis extending through the container. Where the deflection roller 25 is fastened, two indentations (not shown) are provided in the container wall, so that the axle fastening provided outside the container comes to lie within the indentations and does not protrude beyond the outer contour. The counterweight 23 is open at the top so that bulk material can be introduced.

By guiding the traction means 22 over the deflection rollers 24 and the articulation on the cable rocker 26, the traction means 22 forms a pulley 31, which causes the counterweight 23 to move down only about half as much as the length of the door leaf opening movement the lower edge of the door leaf moves upwards. The height of the counterweight 23 is chosen in such a way that the free space achieved by this saving in space is exhausted as far as possible to achieve counterweight volume. In this way, the counterweight can be made very narrow and short, so that the counterweight 23 on each side of the tilting gate 1 in width only about as much space as the respective frame vertical spar 7. The movement space of the counterweight 23 is covered by covers, not shown, against manipulation and to prevent injuries, for example by a Z-shaped angle fastened to a pivot shaft 29, not shown, and up to Floor 30 sheet metal cladding. 1, the counterweight in the closed position of the tilting gate 1 is shown with the reference number 23 and the counterweight in the open position of the tilting gate 1 with the reference number 23 '. The claddings are provided on the left and right of the counterweights 23, 23', except there, where the counterweights 23, 23 'run directly on a wall. Then you only need cladding opposite the garage room. Bulk material, for example scrap, is located in the counterweights 23, 23 'formed by containers. The deflection rollers 24, 25 of the door leaf weight compensation device 6 are made of plastic in the exemplary embodiment, the weight container is made of sheet steel; the ropes 27, 28 are steel ropes.

The first running rail 3 is divided into two sections 32 and 33, the larger lower section 33 running essentially parallel to the vertical frame beam 7 fastened to the latter in a substantially vertical direction. In order to make the tilting gate 1 drivable, the upper section 32 is inclined from the vertical plane in the operating state of the tilting gate 1 into the space to be locked and locked there by means of the fixing means mentioned above. These comprise a first fastening device 60 for fixing the lower end of the upper section and a second fastening device 61 for fixing the upper end of the section 32.

The upper section 32, as parts of these fastening devices 60, 61, has fastening openings 34 and 35 at both ends thereof. To form the first fastening device 60, the upper section 32 with the lower fastening opening 34 formed at the lower end is fastened to a fastening plate 36 by means of a screw or similar fastener, which is fastened to the frame vertical bar 36 on the one hand and to the lower section on the other hand by means of welded connections - spot welds is. To form the second fastening device 61, the upper section 32 is fastened to the second running rail 4 with its upper fastening opening 35 provided near the upper end, which in turn is fastened to the frame vertical spar 7 via a fastening plate 37. This creates a static triangle over the frame vertical spar 7, the upper section 32 and the upper running rail 4, which ensures particular strength of the arrangement of the upper section 32 in the operating position shown in FIG. 1.

On the lower edge of the door leaf 5 two plastic pieces are attached left and right in the area of the door leaf corners 13, which have a slope towards the door leaf corner 13. The plastic pieces are not explicitly shown in the attached figures. The slope in the area of the door leaf corners 13 serves to thread the door leaf 5 between the two frame vertical bars 7 when it moves forward from its open position.

On the inside 70 facing the door opening to be closed, the frame vertical spars 7, as indicated in FIG. 7, are provided with a sealing strip 71 which is designed as a rubber profile. The sealing strip 71 is arranged continuously on the frame vertical spar 7 on the inside 70 and protects this inside 70, i. H. covers this almost completely. Only a small area - for example approximately 5 mm wide - remains free on the vertical edge of the inside 70 facing the space to be closed. Starting from this area, the sealing strip 71 increases in thickness, on the outer area a lip 72 is guided to the door opening to be closed, so that the gap formed on the vertical frame vertical bars 7 and the door leaf 5 in the closed position is sealed.

At the upper edge of the door leaf 5, namely on the upper frame horizontal spar 10, a driver of a door drive, not shown, is created. This driver moves parallel to the second running rail in the horizontal direction in the opening or closing movement direction and takes the door leaf 5 for opening and closing. The opening of the door leaf 5 from the closed position shown in the lower region of FIG. 1 and the lower region of FIG. 2 is not critical since the door leaf 5 can easily be removed from its vertical position by pulling the driver horizontally to the right in FIG. 1 Position is tilted and pulled into the closed position shown in the upper region of FIG. 1, the counterweight moving from the position marked with 23 into the position marked with 23 '. A buffer 38 - for example made of rubber with a dovetail-like joint area - which, like the stationary first deflection roller 24, is fastened to an axis guided through the fastening opening 35, ensures that the door leaf 5 does not close when it moves beyond the open position shown in FIG. 1 strikes hard.

Due to the oblique arrangement of the upper section 32, a tilting of the door leaf 5 at the beginning of the closing movement opening is easily possible by imposing the horizontal closing force 39 of the driver, since this horizontal closing force 39 points downward via the lower roller 15 to a one formed by the upper section 32 inclined plane acts, so that the lower region 12 of the door leaf 5 is guided downwards.

The balance of the weight of the door leaf 5 by the door leaf weight compensation device 6 is such that the door leaf 5 is initially tilted by approximately 30 ° from the closed position when opened, until the two counterweights 23 provided on the left and right of the door leaf weight compensation device 6 come into play. The tilt gate 1 is then in equilibrium and needs an approximately constant counterweight during the rest of the opening process.

At the lower edge of the door leaf, between the lower corner of the door leaf 13, a rubber strip 40 is also provided, which is inclined inwards away from the outside of the door leaf, so that it always encounters an obstacle which may be in the door leaf path. A light beam is sent through an opening in the rubber strip 40, the properties of which are measurably changed when the closing strip is deformed. In this way, an obstacle can be detected and a corresponding event is passed to the door drive via a signal line led from the door leaf 5 via a spiral line to the drive, in order to switch the latter off. 1 and 2 show the different variants with the closing edge on the bottom 30 (FIG. 1) and without the closing edge (FIG. 2).

As mentioned above, the second running rail 4 is held on the door frame 2 by means of the fastening plate 37 so that it can be arranged parallel to the door frame in a space-saving manner for transport. Due to the inclined arrangement of the upper section 32, the tilting gate 1 would still assume a relatively high depth even during transport, so that only a few tilting gates 1 would find space on a pallet during transport.

In order to remedy this and / or to enable simple and inexpensive production of the first running rail 3, it is designed in the manner set out below with reference to FIGS. 3 to 6. The first running rail 3 is delivered to the installation site with the lower section 33 pre-assembled on the door frame 2, the upper section Section 32 is located in a transport position identified by the reference number 41 and different from the operating position 42. In the transport position 41, the two first rails 3 provided on the left and on the right, both with their lower and with their upper sections 32, 33, lie in a plane parallel to the door frame 2, ie the upper section 32 is parallel to the lower section in the example shown 33 arranged.

At the installation site, the upper section 32 is then bent from the transport position 41 into the operating position 42 and fastened there via its fastening openings 34 and 35.

Nahe an diesem Schlitz 47 befindet sich im oberen Abschnitt 32 am Steg 43 die untere Befestigungsöffnung 34.In the exemplary embodiment shown, the two sections 32 and 33 are partial sections of the first running rail 3, which is formed in one piece as a metal profile. The first running rail 3 has, as can be seen in FIG. 4, lower part, a "J" profile with a web 43, one like a leg of a U-profile first leg (U-leg 44) and a second leg like a C-leg of a C-profile (C-leg 45). The web 43 to be arranged away from the door leaf is in the area which is to form the transition between the upper section 32 and the lower section 33 - this area serves as a predetermined breaking point so to speak and is designated by the reference number 46 - near the U-leg with a bore 47 ', from where an outwardly flared slot 47 extends through the web 43 to the C-leg 45 and interrupts it, so that the first running rail 3 is slotted in the area 46. The lower fastening opening 34 is located in the upper section 32 on the web 43 close to this slot 47.

The fastening plate 37 is preassembled to the lower section 33 at its web 43 so that a tab is formed for fastening the first running rail 3 to the door frame 2 and the fastening plate 36 extends over the transition region 46 with the slot 47 and the lower fastening opening 34 extends.

This fastening plate 36 is shown enlarged in FIGS. 5 and 6 and comprises two elevations (welding nipples) 48 for forming the spot weld and an elongated hole 49 for fastening to the door frame 2. Furthermore, the fastening plate 36 comprises two fastening openings 50, the edge of which is one of the two sides of the fastener plate 36 is bulged out so that an elevation 51 is formed on one side and a recess 52 is formed on the opposite side - as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6.

The edge of the lower fastening opening 34 is bulged in a corresponding manner on the side facing away from the legs 44, 45, as a result of which, on the side of the web 43 forming the interior of the J-profile, a countersunk head recess for receiving a countersunk head of a fastener (not shown) - for , B. screw fastener with countersunk screw and nut - is formed. The upper fastening opening 35 is designed as an elongated hole.

The method for producing the tilting gate 1, for transporting it from the place of manufacture to the place of use and for installing it at the place of use comprises the following steps:

At the manufacturing site, the first running track is produced by cold rolling a steel sheet, the bore 47 'and the slot 47 as well as the lower and upper fastening openings 34, 35 with the corresponding edge formation being made in the predetermined kink area 46, and the running track 3 being cut to a suitable length. The running rail 3 thus produced, which is in the transport position, is fastened by means of welding to the welding nipples 48 on the fastening plate 36, several fastening plates 36 being fastened to the lower section 33. The mounting plates 36 are designed mirror-symmetrical to their longitudinal center axis, so that they can be used both on the right and on the left. The first running rails 3 are fastened to the frame vertical spar 7 with these fastening plates 36, the second running rails 4 are likewise articulated on the door frame 2 and brought into their transport position parallel to the frame vertical spar 7. The door leaf 5 is preassembled with the rollers 15 inserted into the running rails 3. In this way, a very flat pre-assembled door package is formed, which is easily transportable to several tightly stacked on a pallet.

At the place of use, the second running rail 4 is brought into its essentially horizontal position. The upper section 32 of the first running rail is bent at the slotted point until the fastening opening 34 comes to rest on the upper section 32 via the still free fastening opening 50 on the fastener plate 36. This results in a material compression due to the material still present in addition to the bore 47 ', which ensures residual strength during transport and manufacture. The operating position 42 defined in this way is fixed by means of the fastener comprising a countersunk screw and a nut or the like, the countersunk head edge protruding from the web 43 on the side opposite the legs 44 and 45 into the recess 52 on the fastening plate 36 arrives, resulting in a positive connection when tightening the introduced fastener.

In the position defined in this way, the second running rail 4 is aligned such that a fastening hole provided prefabricated therein comes to lie on the fastening opening 35 at the upper end of the upper section 32. This position is also determined by an attached screw fastener, a rivet or the like.

Some noteworthy aspects of the tilting gate described here are summarized again below with reference to the illustration in FIG. 3:

An overhead tilting door (1) with a door frame (2) and a door leaf (5) has been described, which with its lower area (12) on a first guide rail (3) assigned to the door frame (2) and with its upper area ( 21) is guided on a second guide rail (4) assigned to the door frame (2) or otherwise fixed in space in such a way that the door leaf (5) tilts in the course of its opening movement from a substantially vertical closed position into a substantially horizontal open position as a whole and vice versa tilts in the course of its closing movement from the essentially horizontal open position into the essentially vertical closed position as a whole. In order to make such an overhead tilting door (1) simple and inexpensive in terms of manufacturing, transport and assembly technology, it is proposed that the first guide rail (3) have a substantially vertically arranged lower section (33) and an upper section (32 ), the latter being designed such that it (32) can assume a space-saving transport position (41) during transport of the tilting gate (1), and that fixing means (60, 61; 45, 46 50-52; 35) are provided , by means of which the upper section (32) at the place of use of the tilting gate (1) can be fixed in an operating position (42) that differs from the transport position (41) in such a way that it causes an initial tilting of the door leaf (5) from the open position due to an im supporting and / or enabling essentially horizontal closing force (39) exerted on the door leaf (5) in the direction of the closed position. In addition, a method for producing, transporting and assembling such a tilting gate (1) has been described.
