Definitions

  • the invention relates to the sector of interior architecture. It relates to more particularly a new structure of slabs of false ceilings, intended for equipping premises of very different sizes, ranging from a few meters to a few hundred square meters. More specifically, it aims to use a textile sheet for producing false ceiling slabs.
  • false ceilings are generally made from unit slabs which are placed on a chassis itself suspended under the ceiling of the room or building in which the false ceiling is installed.
  • Such a frame generally consists of a grid made from inverted T-sections, the chassis being connected to the ceiling itself by a set of hangers.
  • the grid defined by these profiles is arranged to receive slabs of which the periphery rests on the horizontal zones of the aforementioned T-sections.
  • the slabs mounted on these frames are generally substantially rigid, and made from materials incorporating a large fraction of plaster. Of such slabs are relatively heavy and cumbersome.
  • the invention proposes to provide a false ceiling structure which combines the practical advantages of placing false ceilings in rigid slabs, while retaining the flattering aesthetic appearance of false ceilings in stretched canvas.
  • the invention therefore relates to a slab intended to be mounted in a frame carrier of a false ceiling structure.
  • the slabs according to the invention are surface slabs which the quantity needed to cover the ceiling can be determined when installing this false ceiling, without prior mandatory visit.
  • Such slabs are made of stretched textile and therefore have the advantages aesthetic and functional use of textiles.
  • the slabs are preferably of square shape, even rectangular, but in some particular embodiments, other forms polygonal could be adopted without departing from the scope of the invention.
  • the textile sheet may comprise several layers of different natures to combine different properties specific to each layer.
  • a perforated textile sheet may be associated with an opaque fabric, in order to bring out the openwork nature of the visible sheet.
  • the textile sheet may include a layer of foam intended to provide thermal or sound insulation.
  • the textile sheet may include a fabric conduct electricity, so as to serve as a source of heat when it is properly powered.
  • each peripheral element has a square or triangle shape, and is disposed at an angle of the textile sheet.
  • each peripheral element comprises means of pinching the textile sheet, so that the slabs can be Assembled on demand, as and when the false ceiling is covered.
  • each peripheral element comprises two parts capable of slide relative to each other, and which are embedded in a jaw so that the corner comes to pinch the edge of the textile sheet against the jaw.
  • the counter-wedge is held in place by the force exerted by the bandaged rod, this which ensures a permanent pinching of the textile sheet.
  • the first face of the corner on which comes the fabric has ribs located opposite the edges of the jaw. In this way, the edges of the jaw slightly penetrate to inside these ribs to further ensure a more effective pinch of the textile sheet.
  • the corner and the counter-corner comprise means for guiding their relative displacement.
  • these guide means can be constituted by a rib and a complementary groove arranged on the corner and against the corner.
  • the jaw is made of metal, so that its thickness can be strongly limited, and therefore the The fraction of the peripheral element below the tissue is extremely small.
  • peripheral element can be declined in multiple geometries, and is not limited to the single form of rectangular slabs or square, but it is possible to adapt such an element for different angles of 90 °, or even curved shapes.
  • peripheral elements it may be interesting to associate different peripheral elements according to the invention to allow the abutment of slabs so as to form a larger area composed of several slabs.
  • the tongue provides a force of sufficient pressure to prevent the tissue from pulling out of the rib.
  • the clamping means are adaptable to different thicknesses of sheet textile, and in the case where the fabric is relatively thick and openwork, the blockage is further improved by the cooperation of the tongue with the thread of the fabric with which she is in touch
  • each peripheral element comprises a receiving housing end of the stem, allowing easy and durable mounting of the stem through the slab.
  • At least one of the elements peripherals comprises means for adjusting the tension exerted by the rod bandaged. Indeed, in some applications, it may be interesting to adjust the tension force exerted by the deformation of the rods.
  • the slab may further comprise a tie cooperating on the one hand, with the stems at their crossing zone, and other on the one hand, with the textile sheet, so as to give said sheet a shape convex towards the stems.
  • each slab adopts an almost conical shape particularly acoustics since the developed surface of such a slab is greater than the projected square area. Absorption phenomena are increased because the angles of incidence are attenuated, which favors the attenuation of sound waves.
  • the slab further comprises an arrow cooperating on the one hand, with the rods at the level of their crossing zone, and secondly with the textile sheet at level of its center, so as to give the textile sheet a concave shape in the direction of the stems.
  • false ceilings can be equipped with both types of slabs mentioned above, which may be mixed, in particular staggered for some applications.
  • the invention relates to a new slab structure for to equip false ceilings, in which the main face consists of a textile sheet.
  • the textile sheet (2) is equipped in each of its corners peripheral elements (4-7) having a square shape, and whose face base (10) is intended to rest on a T-section (11), as illustrated in FIG. figure 3.
  • T-profiles forms a grid defining square openings inside which the tiles conforming to the invention.
  • the chassis consisting of such T-sections (11) is suspended below the ceiling (13) by means of suspension (14) or any other means equivalent.
  • Each peripheral element (4-7), as illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5, is intended to ensure pinching of the tissue in its peripheral zone, preferably without no organ should come through or pierce the tissue, which would constitute tear primers when the power is on.
  • Such a peripheral element can be constituted by the assembly of the three elements illustrated in Figures 4 to 6.
  • the various the peripheral element have been shown so that they present up their face that will be facing down when the slab will be set up to form the false ceiling.
  • the textile sheet is represented on the top of the peripheral element whereas when the slab will be put in place on the support frame, the textile sheet will be arranged down.
  • the peripheral element comprises as illustrated in FIG. 4, a jaw (20), which essentially has a bearing face (21), of shape Trapezoidal illustration, but which can take other forms, provided that it provides sufficient support at the corner and against the corner.
  • This bearing face is extended laterally by two lateral faces (22, 23), which are perpendicular to it. These lateral faces (22, 23) come opposite edges of the textile sheet (2). Each of these lateral faces (22, 23) has a flange (24, 25) oriented towards the bearing face (21), and whose end (26, 27) is intended to come into contact with the textile sheet, and preferably between two wires to ensure effective anchoring.
  • the jaw (20) is made of a metallic material such as steel stainless.
  • the advantage of using a metallic material is to minimize the thickness of flanges (25, 26) which are the only parts of the peripheral element to be located on the underside of the textile sheet when it is put in place in the false ceiling.
  • This jaw (20) is intended to receive the wedge (30) illustrated in FIG. (5).
  • This corner (30) has a general shape, seen from above, of a right triangle isosceles, in the most frequent case where the slab is square or rectangular, but this shape could vary according to that of the slab.
  • the wedge (30) has a first face (31) which is intended to come into contacting the textile sheet (2) so as to press against the flanges (24, 25) of the jaw (20).
  • the first face (31) of the corner (30) may comprise grooves (33, 34) parallel to the right-angled sides of the corner. These two grooves (33, 34) are located at a distance from the sides of the corner substantially equal to the distance between the edges (26, 27) of the flanges (24, 25) with respect to the lateral faces (22, 23) of the jaw (20).
  • the ridges (26, 27) are in line with the ribs (33, 34) when the wedge is set up in the jawbone, and the fabric is there so slightly imprisoned. It follows that the risks of slipping of fabric or exit of the peripheral element are very much reduced, or even non-existent, for the quasi majority of fabric types.
  • the wedge (30) has a second face (32) which has a certain inclination with respect to the first face (31), so that the thickness of the corner is greater than its right angle (35) with respect to its hypotenuse (36).
  • Such counter-wedge (40) has a thickness such that when its face (41) slides against the face (32) of the corner (30), the face (42) of the counter-wedge (40) ends with come into contact with the bearing surface (21) of the jaw, and therefore plate the sheet textile (2) against the edges (24, 25) of the jaw.
  • Holding the counter-wedge (40) in position relative to the wedge (30) is effected thanks to the force exerted by the rod (8, 9) which bears against the counter-wedge (40), at a housing (46) provided for this purpose.
  • corner (30) and the counter-wedge (40) can be constituted varied materials, especially plastic materials such as polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyamide which are advantageously light.
  • peripheral element Because of the design and simplicity of this peripheral element, we conceive the possibility of associating several of these peripheral elements, at the level of lateral faces of the jaws (22, 23) for example to form a zone of junction between several textile sheets, and thus achieve a finger jointing.
  • the very small thickness of the lateral faces of the jaw makes it possible to bring the adjacent textile sheets very close together so as to ensure almost perfect butting.
  • a peripheral element can consist of a profile, or as illustrated by way of example, by the association of two profiles.
  • the peripheral element comprises a first U-shaped profile (50) forming an outer part and having a groove (51) receiving a second section (55) finer.
  • the lower face (52) of the U-shaped outer profile is intended to rest on the T-section (11) of the chassis.
  • the groove (51) of this U-profile (50) receives the second section (55) intended for ensure the function of pinching the fabric.
  • the elements Peripherals can be made by a single profiled element.
  • the latter comprises essentially a groove (56) and an articulated tongue (57).
  • the groove (56), parallel to the groove (51) of the outer profile (50), is intended receiving an edge of the textile sheet (2).
  • the tongue (57) is articulated with respect to an edge of the groove (56), and more precisely with respect to the wall (58) forming the upper part of the profile internal (50).
  • This articulation is obtained by a zone (59) of lesser thickness and allows the tongue (57) to pivot between two positions.
  • the outer zone of the profile (50) is pivoted so that the tongue (57) is inside the rib (56), and oriented towards the interior of the rib (56).
  • the tongue (57) ensures a pinching of the fabric on the opposite wall (52) of the inner profile (51), and the orientation of the tongue (57) forms a thrusting arc opposing the exit of the fabric.
  • the locking of the fabric is further improved in the case where the textile sheet (2) comprises a perforated structure in which the warp or weft threads are relatively distant from each other, such as for example for example for technical fabrics marketed under the BATYLINE® brand.
  • a particular thread (65) of the fabric cooperates with the end of the tongue (57) and ensures a precise locking and closes in position of the fabric.
  • the outer zone (60) of the internal section (55) also has, beyond the tongue (57), a curved area (64) intended to bear on the fabric when it is in the pinched position, in order to ensure a regularity of the peripheral tension of the fabric.
  • This outer area (60) also serves as a support for the user to cause the tongue to pivot.
  • the invention is not limited to the elemental form illustrated device but covers all variants in which the fabric is pinched by any appropriate means in its peripheral area. Indeed, one of the interests of the invention is to allow easy placement of the peripheral elements around the sheet of cloth, and this on demand, as and when place elements in the carrier frame.
  • the slab (1) comprises rods (8, 9) for tensioning the fabric. These rods (8, 9) cooperate with the elements peripherals (4-7) at grooves or housings (46) provided for this purpose.
  • Such housings (46) can advantageously be arranged on the counter-corner (40) or at the junction zone of the two branches of the square of the element device shown in Figure 8.
  • This housing (46) has an inclination ( ⁇ ) with respect to the main plane the slab (1), so that the rods (8, 9) that it accommodates are bent to exert a tensile force tending the fabric.
  • the inclination ( ⁇ ) is determined so that the tension on the fabric is sufficient for the latter to be effectively planar and adopt no curvature due to its own weight.
  • the housing (46) may be provided receiving the ends of the rods (8, 9) are provided with means for adjusting more finely the tension of the rod.
  • the stems are designed in such a way that such a setting is useless.
  • the length of each branch of the peripheral element is also determined to prevent a collapse of the center and edges of the textile sheet due to its own weight.
  • the peripheral elements (4-7) have a length of the order of 80 mm, and the rods (8, 9) used are cylindrical steel rods, diameter around 6 mm.
  • the tension exerted on the tissue is sufficient for an inclination ( ⁇ ) of rods (8, 9) at the peripheral elements (4-7) of the order of 15 °.
  • the invention also covers variant embodiments as illustrated in FIGS. 10 and 11, in which the textile sheet is no longer flat, but at opposite marries a curvature oriented either upwards or downwards.
  • the slab (80) comprises an element additional element constituting a tie rod (81), and connected on the one hand to the rods (82), to the level of their intersection, and secondly, cooperating with the textile sheet (83) in its center, via a protruding zone (84) passing through a hole (85) provided for this purpose in the center of the sheet.
  • This tie rod (81) is less than the distance that separates the rods (82) of the textile sheet (83) when it is at rest. In this way, the center of the textile sheet is raised relative to the main plane of the slab (80).
  • the tie rod (81), and the central zone of the sheet (83) can be advantageously equipped with all means making it possible to avoid the degradation of the fabric due to the extra traction exerted.
  • the configuration of the two embodiments illustrated in FIGS. 10 and 11 is particularly advantageous for its acoustic properties, since the angles of incidence of the sound waves are changed, which is conducive to the absorption of acoustic energy.
  • the surface of the sheet and therefore its energy absorption capabilities is greater than the embodiment in which the sheet is strictly flat.
  • the textile sheet may consist of a perforated fabric such that in particular that marketed under the mark BATYLINE® by the Applicant.
  • This textile sheet may consist of several different layers, such as in particular a layer of a perforated fabric, and a layer of more opaque fabric, to make the slab opaque visually, while leaving the appearance aesthetic of a perforated fabric.
  • the textile sheet may also incorporate a layer of foam or equivalent, used for its thermal and / or sound insulation properties.
  • the color and patterns printed on the textile sheets may be advantageously used to form a signage at the level of the false ceiling, which can evolve with the displacement or replacement of slabs colored.
  • the false ceiling consisting of slabs according to the invention, in textile sheets allow air to pass through, allows air circulation to through the entire surface of the false ceiling.
  • the entire surface of the false ceiling serves as mouth ventilation.
  • a variation of the slab permeability is adopted to ensure distribution of pressure losses such as the flow through the surface of the false ceiling is substantially uniform over its entire surface.
  • Such an arrangement also makes it possible to perform the operation of filtering the air circulating directly through the slabs and more precisely their textile sheet and not more by specific systems.
  • the various slabs can in in addition, incorporate a heating fabric to heat the air that passes through them, and thus to ensure a uniform distribution of heat.
  • a heating fabric to heat the air that passes through them, and thus to ensure a uniform distribution of heat.
  • nature metal part of the jaw (20) of the peripheral element makes it possible to effective current supply.
  • the slabs according to the invention can be mounted directly on the site.
  • the assembly of a slab includes the operations of setting up the four peripheral elements at the corner of the sheet textile, then placing the two diagonal stems across the sheet textile.
