    Characterised in that the said support (10) comprises a central section (10a) capable of being permanentiy attached to the said head (4a) and at least one lateral extension (10f, 10g) provided with at least one means of separation (10m, 10n) of the said cheek (8) from an end partition (5c) of the said box (5), wherein the bottom of the central section (10a) is pierced by a hole (10e) designed to surround a central slug (5e) arranged on the inner face (5d) of the partition (5c) and extending the axis of rotation of the shaft (3) in the direction of the cheek (8).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that each lateral extension (10f, 10 g) is formed by at least two elements (10h) connected by a divisible strip (10i), wherein the geometry (l 10) of the said extension is adjusted to the cross-section of the box (l s) due to possible fracture of a divisible strip.
  3. Device according to Claim 2, characterised in that at least some of the said elements (10h) connected by a divisible strip (10i) are provided with at least one means (10k) for installing the said support (10) on the said partition (5c).
  4. Device according to Claim 3, characterised in that the said means of installation are slugs (10k) capable of penetrating the housings (5k) of corresponding forms provided on the inner face (5d) of the said partition (5c).
  5. Device according to one of Claims 2 to 4, characterised in that at least some of the said elements (10h) connected by a divisible strip (10i) are provided with projections (10l, 10m, 10l) extending in a direction generally parallel with a longitudinal axis (X-X') of the said box (5) in the assembled configuration of the device, wherein the said projections are capable of resting against the said cheek (8) and/or against the said partition (5c).
  6. Device according to Claim 5, characterised in that the distance (d) between the ends of the said projections (10l, 10m, 10n), parallel with the said axis (X-X') is essentially equal to the width of the said receiving volume (7) parallel with the said axis.
  7. Device according to one of Claims 2 to 6, characterised in that at least some of the said elements (10h), connected by a divisible strip (10i), bear an indication (10j) corresponding to a dimension (l 5) or to a reference of the said box.
  8. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the said central section (10a) forms a concave housing (10b) for receiving the said head (4a, 4b) of the mechanism (4), wherein this housing is provided with elastic means (10c) of retention (10b) of the said head.
  9. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the said support (10) is provided with means (10p, 10g, 10r, 10s) for receiving a box (11) or an electronic control card of a motor (4) forming a drive mechanism.
  10. Mechanism (1) for manoeuvring a closing or solar protection installation characterised in that it comprises a device (3-11) according to one of the preceding claims.
