Claims (8)

  1. Hinge fitting for a door, window or the like, including a fixed portion (2) aimed at being fixed to the sash-frame of said door or window and a movable portion (3) made integral with the leaf and provided with at least one bushing (5) through which passes a hinging spindle (4) inserted into at least one retaining plate (6, 7) associated with the fixed portion (2), this hinge fitting (1) also including means (12) for blocking said hinging spindle (4) in axial translation, these blocking means (12) being to be locked and unlocked manually and being defined by a member forming a latch (13) integral with the hinging spindle (4) and designed so as to be capable of co-operating, in locking position (20), with a portion forming a keeper (14) of the fixed portion (2), characterised in that the member forming a latch (13) is in the form of a clamp (15) slidably mounted, perpendicular to the hinging spindle (4), onto an end (11) of the latter, this member forming a latch (13) also including indexing means (22) for indexing its locked position (20) and its unlocked position (21).
  2. Hinge fitting according to claim 1, characterised in that the end (11) of the hinging spindle (4) includes a peripheral groove (16) defining, on the bottom of the groove, a cross-section (17) adjusted to the width (18) of a cut-out (19) the clamp (15) includes and allowing the latter to move between a locked position (20) and an unlocked position (21).
  3. Hinge fitting according to claim 2, characterised in that the indexing means (22) are defined, at the level of the cut-out (19) in the clamp (15), between the locking position (20) and the unlocking position (21), by a narrowing (23) of a width smaller then the cross-section (17) of said hinging spindle (4) on the bottom of the groove (16).
  4. Hinge fitting according to claim 3, characterised in that the cut-out (19) ends at the periphery of the clamp (15), so as to define two legs (24, 25) exhibiting, among them, some elasticity, in order to authorise the spindle (4) to pass through the narrowing (23).
  5. Hinge fitting according to claim 4, characterised in that the cut-out (19) ends through a second narrowing (23A) authorising the mounting of the clamping (15) onto the hinging spindle (4) while avoiding the latter from voluntarily releasing from it.
  6. Hinge fitting according to any of claims 2 to 5, characterised in that the clamp (15) includes a recess (27) in the axial extension of the cut-out (19) for receiving a tool, such as a screwdriver.
  7. Hinge fitting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the clamp (15) defining the member forming a latch (13) is completed with a blocking tongue (27) aimed at co-operating with the portion forming a keeper (14) in the form of an adjusted notch (28) provided for in a sole (29) of the fixed portion (2) from which extend the retaining plate or plates (6, 7).
  8. Hinge fitting according to claim 7, characterised in that the blocking tongue (27) of the member forming a latch (13) is provided with positioning means (30) designed so as to be capable of co-operating with complementary positioning means (31) at the level of the portion forming a keeper (14).
