Description
The invention relates to a device for dusting printed sheets of paper or an equivalent material using a powder dusting device with the characteristics of the generic term of Claim 1.
A powder dusting device is known from DE 44 27 904 A1 with which powder is electrostatically charged, before it is inflated onto a printed sheet of paper becomes. Electrostatically charged powder adheres better on paper sheets, but the adhesion should still improve become. DE 29 36 754 A1 describes a device for the electrostatic application of entrained gases Material particles known on a sheet of paper become. Doing so will near the sheet of paper electric field into which the material particles, especially powder is blown in. Because of the field lines the powder is directed onto the surface of the material web.
This has the Advantage that the charging bars are relatively close to the paper sheet can be arranged, but the paper sheet itself acts as an insulator. An arrangement of the charging bar on the opposite, i.e. side of the paper to be pollinated is possible, but the charging stick can only be used with one a relatively large distance from the arch, because a Free space for the gripping rapier to be retained got to.
From DE-U-296 23 325 and US-A-3,053,180 each a device for dusting printed products is known become.
The invention has for its object a device to provide with which the printed sheet is more optimal can be pollinated.
This object is achieved with a device solved, which has the features of claim 1.
This has the main advantage that the Charger relatively close to the printed surface can be arranged because above this printed area there is still no space for grippers that might hurry past must be created. These grippers are only now inside the sheet delivery device, the Charging device outside of this sheet delivery device is located and therefore the most suitable place is selected can be. It has also been shown that a electrostatic charging of the printed side of the sheet is more advantageous than charging the opposite side, i.e. the side not to be powdered.
According to the invention, part of the powdering process which also includes the electrostatic charging of the paper sheet is calculated out of the sheet delivery device laid. However, the order of the powder is still in the delivery device instead. Due to the close proximity of the Charging device for the surface of the sheet to be powdered small bundled fields can be generated and on the Sheet of paper act and because of the small distances can the field strength exactly and thus the electrostatic Charging can be set accurately without it Discharges is coming.
A further development provides that the charging device as Charging bar is formed. This charging stick can be used for one relatively easy to adapt to the paper quality, on the other hand, the distance of the charging rod to adjacent surface of the paper web is set very precisely become. In addition, an exchange of the charging stick e.g. to Repair and / or maintenance purposes possible without any problems.
According to a preferred embodiment, the Charging device in the area of the transport direction seen last impression roller of a rotary printing press intended. This has the main advantage that the Paper web is held by the platen roller and both for the holder as well as for the transport of the bow in this area no gripper is required, so the Charger arranged relatively close to the sheet of paper can be. The charging device lies on the counter-pressure roller directly opposite. This means that the paper sheet between the platen roller and the charger located.
Optimal results are achieved if the Charging device immediately before the detachment point of the Arc is provided by the counter pressure roller. In this case the bow is immediately after the electrostatic charge lifted off the platen so that no cargo is over the back pressure roller can flow off.
Der Aufladestab wird dagegen mit Gleichspannung betrieben (etwa 12 kV).In one embodiment, it is provided that before Charging bar one or more ionizing bars provided are. These ionizing bars are used for discharge or Preparation of the sheet before loading using the Charging bar. The ionizing bars are with AC operated (about 6.5 kV) and serve mainly for an active discharge of the bow or the Sheet surface. The charging stick, however, is with DC voltage operated (about 12 kV).
The counter-pressure roller preferably consists of an electric one conductive material, e.g. made of metal, and is grounded. The Charging device, especially the charging stick, is positive charges or sends out positive ions. This structure has the essential advantage that one side of the sheet of paper can be grounded and on the other side of the Sheet of paper e.g. positive ions are applied and that negatively charged powder can be used.
There is a preference for charging between the bow and the counter-pressure roller or the mass no relative movement instead of. A deduction of the negative ions over the mass can thus take place unhindered. In addition, the charging will not disturbed because the bow and the mass are at rest with each other.
The electrostatically charged sheet is then either electrostatically e.g. negatively charged powder or applied unloaded powder. Has at electrostatically charged powder the powder to charge opposite to the printed area of the paper sheet Charge.
The powder dusting device can be advantageous in front of a Bow roller can be arranged. In general, the Powder dusting device in front of the drying section be arranged. In any case, the powdering device provided in front of a sheet braking device, so that when braking the bow this already with powder is pollinated.
Another advantage is seen in the fact that the bow after detachment from the platen essentially Air cushion is guided. An outflow of charge is on this way prevented or at least delayed.
The charger creates the width of the sheet adapted electrostatic field, the field to the Width of the arch is customizable. This way, at processing of narrow sheet damage e.g. the Back pressure roller or other machine equipment be prevented.
Further advantages, features and details of the invention result from the subclaims and the following Description in which with reference to the drawing particularly preferred embodiment in detail is shown.
