Definitions
- the present invention relates to pumps, and more specifically pumps used for emptying sumps. These pumps are used immersed, with triggers of different natures.
- the pump of this document has an upper part with the motor and the wheel, which defines the discharge chamber, and the discharge pipe.
- the pump has a lower part, which is screwed on the upper part, and which defines the bottom wall of the discharge chamber.
- the lower room defined on the one hand a suction opening, and a suction channel that leads to the center from the bottom part under the wheel.
- the part defines the nozzles, and the cleaning ducts that lead to it.
- Figure 1 shows a sectional view of the lower part of a pump marketed by the applicant under the commercial reference SUBSON.
- the wheel 4 In the chamber of delivery 6 of the pump is provided an orifice, which allows the passage to the bottom of the fluid to the cleaning nozzles.
- a strainer 8 is mounted in the part the lower part of the pump, and on the one hand defines the suction ports of the pump, and the suction chamber, which opens under the wheel into a central suction opening 10.
- the strainer also comprises a pipe 12, whose upper end comes against the orifice provided in the discharge chamber. This conduct allows the downward passage of the fluid to the cleaning nozzles. Under the strainer is fixed a part 14, which defines the nozzles.
- DE 849 957 C discloses a delivery pump and cleaning equipped with a strainer with openings for discharge fluid outlet. AT the inside of the strainer is mounted a part having orifices allowing the discharge of the fluid and blades to seal the openings of the strainer. Once the pump is installed the user decides to use the function of cleaning by controlling the rotation of the piece.
- the invention provides a solution to this problem. It allows to provide or not the cleaning function of the sump, limiting the number of separate fabrications. It allows the pump user to choose whether he wishes to clean his sump, or on the contrary, if it wishes to have a maximum discharge pressure. For the constructor, the invention allows simple manufacture, and avoids the multiplication of Number of pieces.
- the invention proposes a pump comprising a strainer with an opening for the fluid outlet from the discharge chamber, and a piece mounted under the strainer having nozzles, characterized in that the piece is likely to be fixedly mounted in at least two positions, the so-called opening being at least partially closed in a position.
- the opening is closed in one of the positions of the room. It is advantageously released in one of the positions of the room.
- the piece has a penetrating nipple in the said opening to close it in one of the positions of the part.
- the strainer preferably has a blind hole in which penetrates said pin in the position of said room where said opening is released.
- the piece has a chamber and an inclined portion in direction of the said chamber, which is under the said opening in one of the said positions of the room.
- the invention also proposes a part intended to be mounted under the strainer a pump having an opening for the outlet of discharge fluid, the said piece having nozzles, and being characterized by a sealing pin at least partial opening.
- the room may have a chamber and an inclined portion towards the said room.
- the part preferably has fastening means, and the stud is then the image of the part inclined in a rotation leaving globally invariant the fastening means.
- the invention proposes a part defining nozzles for a pump whose strainer has a lower hole for feeding the nozzles; this piece, like that of Figure 1, can be mounted in a first position under the strainer of the pump to allow water ejection to the outside, and cleaning the sump. However, this piece can also be mounted in a second position, in which the lower orifice of the strainer is obstructed.
- the part in the supply position of the nozzles, and thus provide a pump with the sump cleaning function. It is also possible to mount the room in the blocking position of the lower hole of the strainer; in this case, the pump does not not the cleaning function, but has a higher discharge pressure important. It is also possible for the user or installer of the pump to dismantle the room, and reassemble it in one position or the other so whether or not to perform the cleaning function.
- Figure 3 shows a sectional view of the bottom of a pump according to the invention; we recognize in the figure the strainer 8, with the pipe 12, the discharge chamber 6, the suction orifices 20, and the part 14 which defines the nozzles.
- the strainer presents in its underside a blind hole 22, which is in a symmetrical position of the pipe 12 relative to the axis of rotation of the pump.
- the lower opening of the pipe 12 defines an opening under the strainer, for the fluid coming from the discharge chamber.
- the pump has a part 14 which defines the nozzles. As shown FIGS. 4 and 5 show a central chamber 16 in which openings 18 are provided. Screw holes 24 are provided for fastening room 14 under the strainer.
- the piece also has a stud 26; this nipple presents a shape and a size that allows it to close the pipe 12.
- the nipple is cylindrical, and has a diameter that is equal to the diameter inside the pipe 12, to the mounting games near. This nipple is positioned by relative to the screw holes so that the part 14 can be mounted under the strainer, with the stud 26 in the pipe 12.
- the piece 14 has an inclined part 28, which returns the fluid arriving from the pipe towards the central chamber 16 of the part 14.
- the stud 26 is substantially symmetrical with this inclined portion 28 relative to the axis of rotation of the pump.
- the pump of the invention operates from the point of view of suction and backflow, like the pumps of the prior art.
- the pipe 12 opens above the inclined portion 28, and the fluid leaving the pipe is directed to the central chamber 16, and then to the nozzles. This ensures the cleaning of the bottom of the sump around the pump.
- the invention allows a simple assembly of the part 14 in the factory, in the first position or in the second position. It is possible for the manufacturer to use a single piece to provide pumps with or without the sump cleaning function. It is also possible for the user or the installer, to easily dismantle the part 14, to turn it over and change the pump features.
- Figure 6 shows a bottom view of a pump according to the invention. We the figure shows the suction ports of the pump, and the nozzles for the ejection of the fluid.
- the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described by way of example; thus, it is clear that the position of the shutter nipple can vary, and is not necessarily symmetrical with the inclined part. We could not turn the room only a quarter of a turn, instead of turning it a half turn. In fact, in a rotation that leaves the fixing means globally invariant, the pin is the image of the inclined part (or reciprocally), so as to be able to arrange the nipple or the portion inclined opposite the lower opening of the pipe 12.
- the piece 14 could have several nipples, allowing to partially or completely close the pipe 12; such a configuration For example, it would be possible to regulate the flow of ejection of the fluid through the nozzles during the assembly of the room. With four screw mounting, as in the example of figures, four mounting positions are possible, and four levels can be flow control.
- the shape of the nipple given by way of example in the figures can vary. Nipple means any form capable of blocking the opening defined by the driving 12.
- the invention is also not limited to a fastening screw of the workpiece. We can therefore use other forms of assembly of the room. This one in the modes of realization of the figures is fixed on the strainer: it could also be fixed on other elements of the pump. In all cases, the room is under the strainer if the ejection opening of the fluid is formed under the strainer.
