Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for spraying a moving fibrous web, in particular paper or cardboard web, by means of at least a nozzle in which the nozzle has a preferably adjustable volume flow of the spray medium in question. It also affects a device according to the preamble of claim 14.
- This control concept has the disadvantage that the addition can only generate a stepped volume flow characteristic.
- Another The disadvantage is the large number of individual valves per nozzle and the result conditional large space requirement and high price of the valve block.
- This control concept has the disadvantage that the addition can only generate a stepped volume flow characteristic. Another The disadvantage is the large number of individual valves and nozzles and the result conditional high price of the total spray unit.
- Proportional valves come with the current state of the art small volume flows are hardly used because the control range is too small and the sensitivity to constipation is too great. They are also valves very expensive.
- a pulsed moistening spray system is known from DE 689 24 433 T2 known that the supply of dampening fluid to a roller one Printing press is used.
- the aim of the invention is to provide a method and an apparatus at the beginning to create the type mentioned, in which the aforementioned disadvantages are eliminated.
- this object is achieved according to the invention solved that the spray medium volume flow of the nozzle over at least a pulsation valve is supplied, the volume flow of the spray medium Pulsations that occur are preferably dampened or weakened become.
- the volume flow supplied to the nozzle is preferred set via the pulsation valve.

- there the pulsation valve is preferably driven at a constant clock frequency.
- the specified method is advantageously used in paper or board machines and especially in nozzle dampers, coating units, Starch spray systems, profiling systems and / or the like applied.
- the device according to the invention is accordingly characterized in that that the spray medium volume flow of the nozzle over at least a pulsation valve is supplied, with means preferably being provided are pulsations occurring in the volume flow of the spray medium to dampen or weaken.
- Pulsation valves such as, in particular, armature valves and preferably plate armature valves can in particular for use in paper and Cardboard machines with pulsation dampers and / or flexible supply lines be combined.
- a unit can be made up of a pulsation valve and a pulsation damper and / or an elastic nozzle feed be formed.
- Pulsation valves such as, in particular, armature valves and preferably plate armature valves can be used with pulsation dampers and / or flexible Supply lines also combined with the respective liquid spray nozzle become. Such combinations can also be used again, for example in systems for spraying moving fibrous webs, in particular in spray devices in paper and board machines and in particular in nozzle dampers, coating units, starch spray systems, profiling systems and / or the like. It can therefore be a respective unit a pulsation valve, a pulsation damper and / or a flexible one Supply line and a nozzle are formed.
- Pulsation valves such as, in particular, armature valves and preferably plate armature valves for spraying moving fibrous webs for use especially in spraying devices for paper and board machines, especially in nozzle dampers, coating units, starch spray systems, Profiling systems and / or the like, in particular can also be used in combination with nozzles whose spray width is large in the direction of web travel, in particular greater than 30 % of the spray width in the cross web direction, in particular elliptical Flat jet nozzles or full cone nozzles can be used. So it can in particular also a respective unit consisting of a pulsating valve and a nozzle with a large spray width can be formed.
- Pulsating valves such as, in particular, armature valves and preferably plate armature valves can also be used in combination with at least one pulsation damper and / or a flexible supply line and in combination with Nozzles are used whose spray width is large in the direction of web travel and in particular is greater than 30% and preferably greater than 50 % of the spray width in the cross web direction, in particular elliptical Flat jet nozzles or full cone nozzles for spraying moving fibrous webs can be used. It's another one in particular Use in spraying devices on paper and board machines, especially in nozzle dampers, coating units, starch spray systems, Profiling systems and / or the like, possible. A pulsating one Valve can thus in particular also in combination with a Pulsation damper and a nozzle with a large spray width can be used.
- volume flow control with at least one pulsation valve for liquid Media created that the volume flow at a nozzle or a nozzle group regulate and for spraying moving fibrous webs in particular can be used in spraying devices on paper and board machines are, there in particular also use in nozzle dampers, Coating units, starch spray systems, profiling systems and / or the like is possible.
- Pulsation valves generate a pulsating volume flow, which be transferred to the spray pattern when spraying moving webs can.
- the amount of spray applied would thus be in the direction of rotation Vary the path according to the pulsation.
- the extent of this depends Varying the spray amount depending on the following factors: Frequency of Pulsation, web speed, spray width in web direction, number of the nozzles in the direction of web travel and damping of the pulsation. Because of The solution according to the invention now eliminates undesirable volume flow fluctuations in liquid lines, conditionally, for example due to natural vibrations of machine components such as those in particular Pulsation valves, steamed in paper and board machines.
- any volume flows can be set, which e.g. a more precise response function for moisture profiling with nozzle humidifiers allowed.
- the pulping is low Spraying possible. This is done, for example, by reducing fluid fluctuations after the pulsation valve in particular at least 50%, in particular at least 80% and in particular at least 90% reached in front of the nozzle. This will cause pulsations in the spray liquid caused by vibrating machine parts such as a pump or a pulsating valve was generated, damped, which ensures the uniformity of the spray pattern in the direction of web travel is improved.
- Control unit can be achieved, which may allow the valve directly in to integrate the spray bar.
- Valves Due to the smaller number of valves compared to the prior art and / or nozzles, in particular with only one valve per nozzle or only one nozzle per spray position in the cross web direction, and / or less expensive Valves can be used in particular in spray devices for paper and Cardboard machines low-maintenance and less expensive spraying devices getting produced.
- Liquids in particular water, are examples of the spray medium.
- the volume flows per nozzle and / or valve can, for example, in one Range up to a maximum of 30 l / min, in particular up to a maximum of 0.70 l / min and preferably up to a maximum of 0.20 l / min.

- nozzles can also be used become. These include, in particular, single-substance nozzles and two-substance nozzles (Liquid-gas, liquid-liquid), mixing inside or outside, different jet shapes, especially flat jet nozzles and in particular Full cone nozzles.
- Figure 1 shows a schematic partial representation of a possible embodiment a device 10 for spraying a moving fibrous web 12.
- the fibrous web 12 can in particular be trade a paper or cardboard web.
- the device 10 comprises at least one nozzle 14, which is preferably a adjustable volume flow of the spray medium 16 in question becomes. At least one pulsation damper 18 is connected upstream of the nozzle 14, to pulsations contained in the volume flow of the spray medium 16 dampen.
- the volume flow of the spray medium 16 is controlled by a pulsation valve 20 set.
- This can be, for example, an armature valve and in particular a plate anchor valve.
- This pulsation valve 20 is driven by a control voltage U with a clock frequency f.
- the volume flow can be, for example, via pulse width modulation can be varied.
- the clock frequency f is preferred in this case kept constant.
- the pulsation valve 20 Spray medium 16 supplied via a line 22.
- the pulsation damper 18 is in a line connecting the pulsation valve 20 to the nozzle 14 24 arranged. It is therefore between the pulsation valve 20 and the nozzle 14.
- FIG. 2 shows a functional diagram to explain the mode of operation of the pulsation valve 20.
- the pulsation valve opens and closes the flow once, or it remains open or closed continuously.
- the duration of the opening interval t 0 can be varied.
- the ratio t 0 / T determines the opening duration of the pulsation valve. The longer the opening period, the more liquid flows through the pulsation valve.
- the volume flow of the liquid can be regulated accordingly.
- the first time diagram is obtained with an opening time of 50%, the second with an opening time of 25% and the third with an opening time of 75%.
- Figure 3 shows an example of a characteristic curve a of a pulsation valve continuous volume flow control compared to a corresponding one Characteristic curve b of a proportional valve.
- pulsation damper 18 achieves the pulsations contained in the spray medium 16, as in particular generated by a pulsation valve 20 are damped.
- a flexible feed line to the nozzle may also be provided.
- a pulsating valve 20 with a nozzle with a large spray width measured in the web running direction L. or depth.
- a unit can consist of Large pulsation valve and nozzle measured in the direction of web travel Spray width or a unit consisting of a pulsation valve and a pulsation damper (and / or flexible supply line) and large nozzle in the direction of web travel measured spray width can be provided.
- FIG. 4 shows the spray pattern A of such a nozzle 14 with a large spray width b 1 measured in the web running direction L, here for example a full cone nozzle, in comparison to the spray pattern B of a flat jet nozzle.
- Parts A and B of FIG. 4 show the spray pattern of the respective nozzle at times t 1 , t 2 and t 3 .
- the shift of the respective spray pattern corresponds to the moving web.
- the hatched area of the respective spray pattern means that at this point the nozzle is not spraying or is spraying only slightly. In contrast, the nozzle sprays in the non-hatched area of the respective spray pattern. The time course of the pulsation is thus reproduced.
- the spray pattern A results from a full cone nozzle with a large spray width b 1 measured in the direction of web travel. Points P1 and P2 are overlapped by a spray pattern with spraying and a spray pattern without spraying. Despite a pulsation contained in the volume flow of the spray medium, this leads to a uniform spray pattern in points P1 and P2 (cf. the right part of FIG. 4A).
- the spray pattern B results from a flat jet nozzle with a small spray width b 1 measured in the web running direction L. Points P1 and P2 are only overlapped by a spray pattern with spraying or a spray pattern without spraying. This leads to the fact that the pulsation contained in the volume flow of the spray medium is completely transferred to the spray pattern of the web 12 (cf. the right part of FIG. 4B).
- An elliptical flat jet nozzle for example, can also be used as the nozzle with a large spray width b 1 measured in the web running direction.
- a pulsation contained in the volume flow in the spray pattern is weakened by a large spray width b 1 measured in the direction of web travel, which is due to the fact that a large point on the moving web is moistened by the large spray width over a longer period of time. This compensates for volume flow fluctuations at this point during this period.
- the spray width b 1 measured in the web running direction of the relevant nozzle can be, for example, greater than 30% of the spray width b q measured in the web cross direction.
- a nozzle 14 can, for example, be a Flat jet nozzle are used, which at an angle of attack ⁇ Fiber web 12 sprays against the web running direction L. 5 the corresponding beam direction is designated SR.
- the angle of attack ⁇ can in particular be less than about 80 ° and preferably less than be about 70 °.
- a unit consisting of a pulsation valve and nozzle with a large spray width measured in the web running direction as well as a unit consisting of a pulsation valve, pulsation damper (and / or flexible feed line) and a nozzle with a large spray width measured in the web running direction can be used.
- an armature valve such as, in particular, a plate armature valve can be used as the pulsation valve.
- Both units can be used, for example, for spraying moving fibrous webs, in particular in spraying devices in paper and cardboard machines, in particular in nozzle dampers, coating units, starch spraying systems, profiling systems and / or the like.
- an elliptical flat jet nozzle or a full cone nozzle can be provided as the nozzle with a large spray width b 1 measured in the web running direction.
