Definitions
- the present invention relates to a case for a mobile phone according to the Description in the preamble of claim 1.
- Cell phones include so-called cellular phones GSM (cell phone) understood, more precisely, mobile telephony devices that are broadcast magnetic fields work. Send and receive such phones very high frequency electromagnetic waves that go around the antenna are concentrated. The intensity of these waves for the human organism the closer the device is, the higher it can be is held on the body (head, chest, and generally the other parts of the body on which the telephone set is supported).
- GSM cell phone
- the first group of proposals provides for the shell and / or the antenna of the Shield the telephone set using suitable shields.
- This group includes, for example, the European patent application EP-0603082-A1, according to which it is provided that the radiating system Protective devices are assigned.
- EP-0603082-A1 the radiating system Protective devices are assigned.
- a thick shell proposed in which the elements of the telephone set and in particular the antenna are integrated, and those with a thick, between the antenna and provide a protective plate or shield disposed to the user is, this arrangement serves to maintain a safety distance between the radiating system and the body of the user.
- the disadvantage of such a solution is the excessive size of the apparatus.
- a second group of suggestions includes those that apply of antennas that can be aligned in such a way that they are less harmful to the user of the telephone set by using it electromagnetic field as far away from the head of the caller Generate user.
- CH-686539-A5 for example, a mobile phone is shown that is connected to a equipped antenna movable from a rest position into a working position is.
- the antenna is on the Opposite side of the handset, that is, it is practically at right angles arranged to the head of the user or as far away as possible and therefore in the least harmful situation.
- US-A-5771466 in turn shows a rotatable antenna that is designed so that it is as far away from the The user's head can be removed so that any of the electromagnetic Damage caused by waves can be reduced.
- these solutions certainly contribute to the influence of electromagnetic Attenuate waves because removing the antenna from the ear of the User, even if only by a few centimeters, the intensity without a doubt of the radiated magnetic fields is reduced.
- the third group of proposals includes those that use a provide separate cases for the mobile phone holding the telephone protects against mechanical influences and facilitates its transport, this case can be combined with an antenna that is used in the protective Case is installed and connected to the telephone can.
- Another purpose of the present invention thanks to the use of a separate What can be achieved for the mobile phone is that the Advantages of protecting the user from magnetic radiation even with already existing or new phones that have no such protection, come to fruition. This possibility is not in any of the documents mentioned called.
- the subject of claim 4 is and a further improvement of the protective effect shielding means are intended for the user fixed against the electromagnetic field between the antenna and the side facing the user while the phone is in use of the case can be arranged.
- the antenna 2 is located close to the user's head (that shown in FIG Example shown head).
- the present invention therefore provides that the mobile phone 1 with a Case 5 is provided, which is the actual subject of the present Invention is, and has an inner space (not shown) in which the Mobile phone 1 is inserted and by means of holding means in the above Interior is captured.
- the case can be made of leather or as a case 19 be formed of similar material and with an upper locking tongue 20th ( Figures 2 and 3) and with a quick-release system of the Velcro type (not shown).
- An antenna 6 is fastened to the case 5 by means of fastening means (which in Are explained in more detail below).
- the antenna 6 can by means of the phone Connecting means 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 and 13 are connected.
- the present invention provides that the means 21 for fastening the antenna 6 on the case 5 comprise a pivot arm support 22 which pivots the antenna 6 over a predetermined angle ⁇ with respect to the wall of the case 5 to which the antenna 6 is attached.
- the swivel angle a is such Chosen that the antenna 6 in the working position of the mobile phone, which is shown in this figure - a position in which the telephone answers Ear is held - usually in a substantially vertical position - extends essentially at right angles to the user's ear.
- the antenna 6 with the mobile phone 1 by means of a micro-coaxial cable 10 or 14 connected.
- Two connection systems are for the connection of the antenna 6 with the mobile phone 1 provided.
- the top of the body of the mobile phone 1 is arranged (Fig. 4), the connection of the antenna 6 by means of a connector 9 ( Figures 2 and 4) and a micro-coaxial cable 10 produced, which in turn with a sliding contact 11 with the shielded antenna system 4 (Fig. 4) are connected.
- the lower outer connection socket 12 of the mobile phone according to FIG. 2 is used.
- the antenna 6 with the connection socket 12 via a corresponding connector 13 and a micro-coaxial cable 14 connected, which in turn the Sliding contact 11 of the antenna 6 are assigned.
- Inserting the connectors 9 and 13 into their corresponding sockets 8 and 12 represents the connection of the mobile telephone 1 to the antenna 6 safe and switches off all functions of the already existing antenna 2, which is completely deactivated in this way.
- the present invention provides that for further Improvement of the protective effect compared to the previously shown solution Case 5 shielding means 7 fixed against the electromagnetic field are. These means, which are visible in Figures 2 and 4, are between the antenna 6 and the one facing the user during operation of the telephone Part of the case 5 arranged.
- These shielding means 7, the are preferably designed as a metal plate, serve for further shielding of the electromagnetic field and against its propagation in Towards the user's head.
- This solution is also in the Fig. 5, in which the use of a mobile telephone with the inventive Case 5, which with the swing-out antenna 6 and Protective shield 7 is provided.
- the 4 consist of a metal plate, which is arranged in the inner part 24 of the wall of the case 5 of which the swing-out antenna 6 is attached: as shown in FIG. 4 the shielding plate 7 can also form the rigid support surface on which the swivel arm bracket 22 of the antenna 6 is attached.
- the shielding means 7 are accommodated in a compartment 16 of the case 5, preferably as a raised floor 16 in the wall of the case 5 is formed, to which the antenna 6 is attached, and usually also corresponds to the side on which the battery (15) is arranged.
- the shielding mass 7 is in accordance with the shape and dimensions of the Back of the mobile phone 1 is formed, which covers it completely.
- a support arm 17 (visible in Figures 2, 3 and 4) on.
- the rotating arm support 22 of the antenna 6 is then in the projection 25 of the support arm 17 embedded, which has a groove 26 which is vertical extends to the axis of rotation 18 of the antenna 6.
- the antenna 6 is located in the groove 26 in their rest position, which in Figures 2, 3 and 4 with solid lines is shown, while in Fig. 3 the working position of the antenna 6 with dashed lines is shown.
- the antenna 6 remains in the support arm 17 (Fig. 4 and in solid lines hidden in Figures 2 and 3). While using the mobile phone 1 (with an active connection), the antenna 6 is swung out until it moves away from the Phone extends away at a substantially right angle to Earth 7 (shown in broken lines in Figures 2 and 3).
- the antenna 6 is on the head of the user opposite side of the cellphone 1, so that it is thanks to the metal plate 7 electromagnetic shielded from the body of the user Field 3 generated (Fig. 5).
- the case could take place instead of, as mentioned leather or similar material also from a rigid material such as one Plastic are manufactured, which have the necessary properties of mechanical Resilience and shock absorption for such a protective case for a device as sensitive as a mobile phone.
- the antenna 6 in turn could also be designed differently than in the Description and the illustrations is shown (for example, it could be designed as a pull-out antenna), and it could be directly on the shielding ground 7 be attached.
- the case for a mobile phone according to the invention combines the advantages of the various partial solutions according to the prior art, i.e. the Possibility to equip a mobile phone with a protective case, and this regardless of the type of phone, and especially for those already in the Commercially available phones, as well as with the features that allow the swing-out receiving and transmitting antenna as far as possible removed from the user's head, and according to a preferred embodiment, additionally shielded to arrange, which results in better conditions for the use of the telephone set.
