Definitions
- the present invention relates to a roof catch strip according to the generic term of claim 1.
- Roof trap strips also called gravel trap strips, are in particular known for flat roofs or slightly pitched roofs.
- Auflastsn for example in the form of gravel, pavement slabs, in a grit bed are laid or substrates for greenery applied. around the edges or recesses of such loads a clean separation between the ballast and the To ensure the remaining roof area, roof catch strips are used applied to the roof surface.
- Roof rails can e.g. B. be round or square tubes, which are held by clamps. There are also metal angles or composite sheet profiles, the z. B. as an angle are known.
- a roof closure which consists of a folded Plate exists, with an at least twice angled profile along with filler material the flat roof edge is arranged, the middle openwork part of which is on the Supports the roof skin while the adjoining legs point upwards.
- the inner leg of the twice angled profile is a vertical leg of one arranged at right angles, the other leg rests on the roof skin.
- a Edge fold provided and the vertical leg of the angle also has one Edge fold on, over the edge fold of the inner leg and with respect to the angle is bent outwards.
- the leg of the angle lying on the roof skin points for the passage of liquid to drain into a gutter, where the fastening of the profile channel as well as the angle using self-adhesive tapes with the roof skin.
- a disadvantage of this prior art is in particular that due to the Breakthroughs in the connecting leg for fluid passage are permanent fixed connection with the roof surface membrane is prevented because of an uncontrolled Liquid entry between the roof surface layer and the connecting leg permanent connection with the roof and in particular the necessary Force absorption to hold the roof catch strip due to the catch leg acting forces prevented by the roof fill.
- a method for coating a metal strip is known from US Pat. No. 4,306,927, the laminate should be suitable for laying on roof structures. adversely in the case of the coated metal strip, the metal layer is extremely thin is formed and a relatively thick laminate layer is laminated onto each side. The Thickness of the metal layer, which is significantly less than the thickness of each of the Laminate layers are not sufficient to create any support effect with which one Roof guard could be formed, which has a corresponding support effect the filling material applied to the roof.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object of a roof catch strip create a significantly increased lifespan with always flawless Functionality of the roof rail and additional simple construction of the Roof catch strip is achieved.
- a roof catch strip is created, with a first Leg and a second leg, which are arranged at an angle to each other and are connected to one another, one of the legs as a connecting leg a roof structure is connectable, and the other leg serves as a catch leg.
- the Roof catch strip is made of a composite material that is made from a sheet metal layer Corrosion-free material is formed on both sides with a plastic film is laminated, with the catch leg at its lower end through the Connection leg is limited, both the outer longitudinal edge area of the Connecting leg as well as the outer longitudinal edge area of the catch leg have a bent strip-shaped area and the two bent strip-shaped areas with the respectively assigned leg an acute angle have, whereby a roof catch strip is formed, which as an additional element the roof surface of the roof can be applied.
- a plastic film which is done for fastening by means of a plastic holding plate, such as is known for example from DE 29 05 068 C2.
- the bent region and the connecting leg advantageously close an angle, in particular a relatively acute angle, where, depending on the requirement, the angle can also be zero degrees, d. H. the bent area lies on the Connecting leg.
- the catch leg is also bent by means of the stiffened strip-shaped area, wherein. the sharp wave between bent Area and catch leg is preferably between 60 ° and 80 °.
- the corrosion-free material is advantageously aluminum or an aluminum alloy, which makes it an effective Corrosion protection will achieve.
- the corrosion-free material can also be stainless steel be, with additional design options for architectural complex buildings, advantageously realized can be.
- roof catch strips are used for separation between the load and the rest of the roof area the roof.
- the loads or roof areas are everyone Exposed to weather conditions, so advantageously the roof catch strip according to the invention in the longitudinal edge region at least one, preferably several openings has through which the rain or melt water from Flow through snow and ice and drain accordingly can.
- the openings are in a simple embodiment introduced into the edge portion of the connecting leg Holes, after bending the strip-shaped area corresponding passage openings are formed.
- Water flow can also have corresponding notches be provided in the edge area or in the bent area.
- openings or recesses are advantageous provided in the catch leg for the passage of water.
- a first embodiment is one Roof catch strip 1 shown.
- the roof catch strip 1 has a connecting leg 3 and one Catching leg 5, with the sectional view according to FIG. 1 the line I-I and Fig. 2 is shown.
- Im pictured Examples are the connecting leg 3 and Catching leg 5 arranged substantially perpendicular to each other and integrally formed with each other.
- the longitudinal edge area 7 of the connecting leg 3 has a bent strip-shaped area 9.
- An opening 13 is provided, for example is designed as a circular hole, whereby by bending of the strip-shaped area 9 along the edge area 11 a passage opening for liquids, in particular Rain and melt water is created.
- the passage of water then also takes place through the catch leg 5, in which a plurality of longitudinal openings 15 are provided, such as 3 can be seen in particular.
- the passage of water takes place essentially according to arrow 17.
- opening 13 is provided.
- Openings 13 are provided at appropriate regular intervals in the Edge area or edge area 11 is provided.
- the catch leg 5, one in its upper end region bent strip-shaped area 19, which is in one piece is formed with the catch leg 5. He closes with the Leg 5 an angle ⁇ , which in the example case is approximately 75 °. Of course it is possible for others Angle.
