Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum hydromechanischen Entzundern von stranggegossenen Brammen und/oder warmgewalzten Metallband 20, insbesondere aus Stahl. Die Vorrichtung umfaßt jeweils einer Bandseite 3, 4 zugeordnete, in Bandlaufrichtung hintereinander sowie seitlich zueinander versetzt angeordnete Wasserspritzdüsen (1, 1') zum Aufspritzen von Hockdruck-Wasserstrahlen (10, 10') auf die beidseitigen Bandoberflächen. Die der Bandoberseite 3 zugeordneten Düsenreihen (1) sind zusammen mit Auffangrinnen (2) jeweils um eine Achse verschwenkbar und sind nach Maßgabe des Signals einer Meßeinrichtung gegenüber der Bandoberseite 3 höhenverstellbar. Die Wasserauffangrinnen (2) sind entgegen der Bandlaufrichtung unabhängig von den Wasserspritzdüsen (1) um einen Schwenkpunkt (9) verschwenkbar und gegenüber dem Metallband höhenverstellbar und sind selbsttätig ausweichbar ausgebildet. Die die Düsenreihen aufnehmenden Spritzbalken (5) der Bandoberseite (3) sind mit einem Hebelarm (11) um den Schwenkpunkt (9) der Wasserauffangrinnen (2) verschwenkbar und sind damit in Grenzen höhenverstellbar sowie selbsttätig ausweichbar angeordnet.
