Abstract

<B>DISPOSITIVO DE DECAPAGEM PARA UMA FITA METáLICA FUNDIDA EM VARAS<D> O invento se refere a um dispositivo para a decapagem hidro-mecânica de lingotes fundidos em varas e/ou fita metálica laminada à quente, especialmente de aço. O dispositivo engloba 4 bicos ejetores de água (1, 1') dispostos um após outro, deslocados entre si em relação à linha do centro, coordenados a um lado da fita 3, para a aplicação de jatos de água à alta pressão (10, 10') sobre as superfícies de ambos os lados da fita. A série de ejetores (1), relativa ao lado superior da fita 3, pode ser girada, juntamente com as calhas coletoras (2) em torno de um eixo e ainda pode ser ajustada em altura, em relação ao lado superior da fita 3 conforme um sinal fornecido pelo dispositivo de medição. As calhas coletoras de água (2) podem ser giradas, de modo independente dos bicos ejetores de água (1) e em sentido contrário ao do movimento da fita, em torno de um ponto de giro (9) e, ainda, podem ter sua altura ajustada em relação à fita metálica, possuindo ainda uma configuração que lhes permite um desvio automático de obstáculos. As travessas de jateamento (5), que alojam a série de bicos ejetores, correspondentes ao lado superior da fita (3), podem ser giradas em torno do ponto de giro (9) das calhas coletoras de água (2), por meio de uma alavanca (11), permitindo assim um ajuste em altura, dentro de limites, bem como são dispostas de modo a lhes possibilitar um desvio automático de obstáculos.
